The best AYCE Korean BBQ I've been to, but not the best Korean BBQ out there. It's easily one a go-to and always pleasing. The service is good because they come around and cut the meat and serve you and they are flexible with dining timing. Did the premium menu ($48.99) and tried shrimp, squid, beef entrails, beef intestines, NY strip steak, and octopus. It was good, but not worth the extra cost. The shrimp came with the shell on, so you either had to peel each one or eat the shell, so it wasn't a good shrimp experience. The squid and octopus were good. The entrails were fine. The intestines were meh, and the steak was good but fatty. Everything else is good, but the brisket stands out. They give ample appetizers, and the kimchi is especially good. Also the service is crazy good because the waitress consistently comes around to take orders and cook and serve food, so you don't have to do it yourself. read more

The wait was horrible. We arrived at 12:50PM & was not seated til 1:50PM. We were starving. Granted it was a weekend. As soon as we sat down though, all the apps (banchans) were already waiting for us and we ordered every single meat. The meat was cooked really quickly which we appreciated. However, that actually is the pace of the restaurant, even at all other tables. They just keep cooking one meat after the other. Service is exceptionally fast, and no meat was under nor over cooked. Wow! Skills level up. We could not eat that fast so we paused on one of our grills (we had multiple grills being a larger party) and then we learned why they were so efficient. Because when the grill cools, there becomes a crust layer so when we ordered more food, they needed to change to a new grill first! We did the signature package even though we didn't have to as it was lunch time. We wanted every meat. At $50/person + drinks it wasn't bad for the city. AYCE Korean bbq for $27 weekdays/$30 weekend lunch all week? Sign me up! Their meat was well marinated and prepared. The lunch menu doesn't have as many options as their dinner and premium menu but it was more than enough for my group! You have around 90 minutes to stuff your face with as much meat as you can. The staff grills the meat for you and brings you meat shortly after you order. There was a period where we spent a while waiting for our meat and thus wasted a bit of our 90 minutes just sitting, but as it was a weekend, the place was packed. We focused on their brisket, marinated ribeye, pork belly, pork neck, pork skin, and pork short rib. Staff is attentive and we left full and happy though we did smell of kbbq after leaving. Probably about 3.5 stars imo. The lunch price was pretty solid, which is why we went, and the meat quality was good enough. HOWEVER the people working there will absolutely not let you cook your own meat, even if you ask, which is kinda weird for a KBBQ experience. The issue with that is, there are like 5 people walking around adjusting grill temps and flipping and pressing all the juice out of the meat, not really working in tandem or knowing when someone else put the meat on the grill, or last flipped it, so it ends up cooking really badly, getting rubbery, or burnt. Also they use the raw meat tools on the cooked meat. It was a literal hot mess. Veg and banchan were extremely mediocre. The Pa Muchim/Scallion type salad was just made with like... regular onions? Again, if you're hungry though, this price was pretty solid, and to be fair all the staff were extremely nice. Wouldn't necessarily recommend unfortunately. read more

Stopped by Let's Meat on a late Friday night, excited for a great meal after a Nets game. It's safe to say my excitement went out the window reaaaal quick. Pros - they were able to seat me as soon as I walked in - our waiter was very personable and even recommended his favorite meats which ended up being among the better meats we tried Cons - a roach crawled up my date's leg halfway through the meal. The waiter acted concerned when he told him but also had the vibe that he sees them all the time & just didn't want us causing a scene - The meats had 0 flavor. And no the sauces didn't help - They don't have jalapeños (aside from their pickled onions + jalapeño side), garlic or eggs like many other kbbq spots tend to - the cheese corn was very mid and watery. More like corn soup - The waiter offered us a discount but it was just a free soju. For a roach to have crawled on someone they could have offered way more... A group of my friends and I came to let's meat. The ambiance is busy and straight to business because you are being timed after all. We had a reservation which I highly recommend because this place can get really busy. We were seated promptly and everything was going well. The server explained everything to us but I did notice one thing that I wasn't too thrilled about. The server was not the warmest person and looked kind of annoyed by us, which is impossible because we just sat down and ordered drinks so there isn't much we could have done to rub him the wrong way. I brushed this off at first but it continued. We would tell him what we wanted to order and he would say he forgot. If you are forgetful then I would suggest writing it down at least. Then he didn't really explain if we were supposed to cook our own food or would he. We took it upon ourselves to cook everything because we didn't want it to burn. After that he wasn't really attentive and we wasted time just waiting for him to notice us so we can place an order in. The food was fresh and delicious but I do wish the service was better. I was tasked with finding a Korean BBQ restaurant for a work event. I knew that I wanted to find a place that was AYCE, took reservations, and where the staff cooked for us. Let's Meat fit the criteria. I called them to place the reservation. They will require a credit card to make the reservation, if you cancel they will charge $10 per person to the card. I originally made the reservation for 3PM on a Friday but people were late (of course) and our whole party of 13 people didn't arrive until 3:30PM. The restaurant was nice about waiting for us for the most part, but I could tell that they were not going to wait for us past 3:30, which was understandable. Once we finally sat down and started our 100 minutes AYCE, it was great! The staff cooked for us and they put the meat on the sides of the grill to signal to you that it's ready to eat. Lots of banchan available, but unfortunately no rice paper. The restaurant plays lots of kpop obviously haha. Overall, the event was a total success and I think my colleagues really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you need to take a large party to KBBQ! read more

This is an all you can eat Korean BBQ spot. I came here for lunch today. The place had decent amount of customers. Every table has a barrier. The staffs are very attentive. Food comes out quick. They cook the meat for you and let you know when it's done cooking. I ordered 7 items on the first go. Once you finish, they will ask if you want to order once more. You may think you can eat another set but once you take your first bite of the 2nd round. You regret everything. They give you a 1hr period to order and a 100min to eat everything. Food was very delicious for a buffet. They don't give small portions like some buffet spots. You can ask for refills on anything that is given to you. After quite a few visits (this is my AYCE KBBQ friend group's go-to spot, and yes I have a friend group dedicated to AYCE KBBQ) I have never been disappointed. You know the drill: Don't fill up on rice (skip it entirely ideally), cut through the richness with the banchan (quite good with unlimited refills), and put in your next order in ahead of finishing the current one. The play here after some trial-and-error is to just order brisket on repeat. It's tasty, cooks quickly, and doesn't have a sugary sauce that burns on the grill. The staff here is friendly and efficient and will oblige all your brisket desires. Just make peace with the fact that you'll smell like smoke and meat after (leave the nice fit at home) and you're guaranteed to have yourself a good time with the homies. read more

The quality of the meat is very subpar though (especially the pork, I'd recommend only getting the beef), and the marinated meats are way too sweet. In fact, I felt that that was the only flavor that the marinated meats had. The side dishes were also already set on the table (a bit strange) before any diners arrived, which made me question the freshness of the dishes. I usually look forward to the variety, but the side dishes were wildly underwhelming (everything pickled). Luckily, we could order dishes one at a time so we did not waste any food at the end. We ordered everything but the chicken and tofu dishes, as the beef/pork was far more than enough for two people. Absolutely fantastic for a big group of folks. I would recommend at least three plus before getting in here. Reservations are a must and actually bring a change of clothes or wear an apron altogether because you're going to get some splash back and a full steam experience. Next time I head in there I'm bringing at least a washcloth. Quite a big selection with the meats and veggies which they prepare for you which I thought was nicely done which allowed the group to conversate. Came here and did some indoor dining for the first time. Figured it was safe because all the tables had to have vents for the smoke from the BBQs anyway, which they do. When we arrived the place was pretty empty so it seemed safe (we arrived at 6:30 on a Friday), but by the end it was pretty packed. There is hand sanitizer right at the front and all the staff is wearing masks so they are being safe. Some things to note is that they do not have a full bar. They mostly have soju which runs at $15 a bottle and beers. This isn't a place where you cook for yourself, which is nice, but because the servers are so attentive it can be hard to have a long conversation here. That being said, when we wanted anything, it would appear on our table in about 15 minutes. The food was marinated very well and cooked to perfection. It was really great. They even move things around the grill so you aren't reaching to grab anything. Our lettuce baskets were constantly being refilled as well. Alice was our server and she was an absolute gem. We also ordered the glass noodles. Usually I am not a fan, but they were actually super good here. Only downside about this place is there are no vegetables besides the lettuce from the baskets and from the banchan. Wish there were some vegetables that we could grill as well. Oh well. Eat a salad for lunch! Would come back again. They also have outdoor dining but not sure how you would grill out there. Maybe they do it for you and bring it out? Let's Meat is a solid Korean BBQ and very much welcome in the highly priced restaurant landscape of Manhattan. Here, on Fifth Avenue at 32nd Street in KTown, the carnivore in you can be unleashed for an hour of orders and an hour and a half to savor and devour every last piece of meat coming off the grill at your table. Let's Meat is not on the OpenTable network, so you'll have to call to make reservations, highly recommended for this busy restaurant. Reservations can only be made for parties of four or more and smaller parties would be recommended to arrive earlier than four on weekends for sure. The all you can eat lunch special is about thirty bucks if you are seated and order by 3PM. The all you can eat lunch menu has a few less items than the dinner menu, but it is quite a deal and one of the best in the City. The all you can eat dinner is currently just over forty five bucks and it has so many great choices in steak, chicken and pork. Your waiter will do all the grilling and move the meat over your grilled vegetables: broccoli, sprouts, mushrooms and onions, when done. You'll have daikon, picked peppers, onions, lettuce and rice as part of your table service set. Every person will also have their own salt, mild mustard sauce, and soy paste for garnishing and dipping. I find the soy paste goes well with all the steak items. The mustard sauce matches with the pork and chicken very well. My recommendation would be to include shrimp on the regular all you can eat menu to give a seafood option aside from fish cakes, which I did not order. Shrimp is currently an add-on for the premium menu selection. You can eat the bbq alone or with the rice or lettuce wrap. Try the grilled meat with some pickled veggies wrapped in lettuce and thank me later. The marinated chicken is good, the brisket is even better, the pork shoulder hits you right where you want, and the ribeye will definitely have you order again and again. The pork belly was surprisingly not my favorite or even near the top. There are no peanuts in the marinades, for those who have peanut allergies. Overall, the quality of the meat is good and there are some compromises for a midtown location and all you can eat. If you want better all you can eat Korean BBQ quality at the same price, you'll have to go out to Queens and try Padam Padam. You'll definitely get your fill at Let's Meat. This is a great place to come with friends. The tables are ideal for parties of six, perhaps even eight. Prices for beer and wine are reasonable at around ten bucks, so everyone can have fun without feeling too much in the pocket. Service is quick and they will change your grill. Everything is kept clean with the stainless tables, stainless mini cups for your ice water and stainless shallow bowls from which to eat; though, I tend to have control issues with the stainless chopsticks until I adjust to them. Second time here and it was a good experience, even post Covid. It's been hard lately to find barbecue places that still allow you to cook the food and don't just cook it for you and bring out the food to you (which in my opinion defeats the whole purpose of the experience). The all you can eat option here is always more than enough. They start you off with some traditional Korean sides like kimchi while also offering you lettuce wraps, sauces and rice to accompany the food you will grill. You can even pay a little bit extra to have some additional choices in The all you can eat menu such as octopus. We tried the peach soju you but I was not a fan since I'm more of an unflavored/dry rice wine type of girl. The wait staff here was very friendly and accommodating, we never really had to look around for a waiter to assist us. They'll even come by and help you with cooking and serving your food. One thing to be mindful of though is this restaurant will charge you extra if you waste food. The couple times I've been here I've had a few things left over and it wasn't a problem so I imagine this is for wasting an excessive amount. read more

The wait for Let's Meat was about 1.5+ hours long. My group got there at 6pm and were told we can get seated by 7pm. We were seated around 7:35ish. Had we known, we would've gotten on the wait list earlier. Finally seated, we chose the classic AYCE. The premium had seafood options, which we didn't really care much for. You get 100 minutes to consume all you can. I unfortunately did not consume all I can but it was enjoyable nonetheless. We ordered the hanger steak, pork short ribs, beef short ribs, and chicken. We love the little banchan which the staff were diligently replenishing at our table. The environment was upbeat and smoky.
