They furnished a credit card and were charged by pay pal. The brought their receipt to the game to pick up their tickets. They were to meet Jay an hour before the game and so were about 15 other people. jay handed out some tickets at 1:30 and then told the remaining 7 people that he did not have their tickets. The father from Oregon was very upset. Jay got in his face and verbally humiliated him in front of the mans kids. Instead of refunding the family with cash, jay refunded the man on pay pal. The father did not have enough cash to by tickets 15 minutes before the game and it was impossible to buy three tickets together. The sons were about 14 and 12. It was an awful example of humanity and miss treating people. If this is any indication of how Metro Tickets treats it's customers, they would be the absolute last company I would ever buy from.

They might have more than soccer, but I come here to bring my son here for his soccer games. Everyone that works here has been friendly and professional. The place is kept clean and they have ample seating. There is light music playing and they also have sports of several TVs. There is a camera system so that people can watch games, but there is a cost to it, and I am not sure how much. We have had three games here so far in 2023 and will continue into 2024. Please check out their website and if your son or daughter ends up playing their games here, it should be an enjoyable event for them and for you watching.

We were lucky in that we scored some ridiculously cheap tickets on www.stubhub.com Now granted we were sitting up in the rafters, but for the price I'm not complaining. The atmosphere here is somewhat subdued for a hockey game. The fans here are pretty quiet compared to Penguin's fans, for example (I'm a Pittsburgh girl). Which is a shame because the Stars have had some good teams over the years. They do have some knowledgeable fans though. A guy sitting next to us happened to mention that he went down the Austin to see the Star's AHL affiliate the Texas Stars play. I mentioned to him that a couple of friends of mine are huge Chicago Wolves fans and he said that yes he'd seen the Wolves play the Stars. Although the Stars lost to the Columbus Blue Jackets 2-0, we saw a good game played. Note to the Star's fans sitting around me. I didn't fall asleep because the game was boring. I try to rate ball parks on 4 categories: Food, Architecture, Fanbase and something I just call Other Architecture: Kind of felt somewhat "cookie cutter" but there was a huge glass wall along the outfield lines that is cool. The roof is retractable but was closed when I was there so that may be why it felt cookie cutter to me. I like my baseball outdoors even if it is 98 degrees. Food: They have all the usual fair that you would expect. Then they have the insane! A sombrero nacho hat for 40.00. This is more of a 9-layer dip than actual nachos. You can actually eat the hat, and we did. I had another friend get a 24-inch hot dog that was more of a sauage with grilled onions and chili. He ate the whole thing! Luckily, he wasn't rooming with me that night. The beer selection didn't seem as large as I would like. They should have more local breweries like Martin House on tap. Fanbase: The place wasn't full on a Friday night, but it was probably 2/3's full and the fans were all cheering and dressed up in Rangers' gear. Lots of ladies in jerseys and cowboy boots. Other: Texas Live! is next door so you can get a crappy beer and pregame there. It's also next door to Jerry's World (Cowboys). There is tons of parking but it was 60.00 to park by the stadium.

The Stars ended up winning and somewhere during the game I found myself dangerously close to becoming a Dallas Stars fan... until I remembered what they did to my beloved Buffalo Sabres in the '90s. Trauma aside, this was a great afternoon/evening! The arena atmosphere was great even if the escalators could use some TLC, the surrounding area around the venue seemed pretty lively and easy to navigate, and the fans near us were excellent - friendly, engaged, and fun despite the fact we were perched way (way) up in the nosebleeds. I'm also thrilled to add another NHL arena to my list. This was only my fourth NHL venue, so I've still got a long way to go, but this was definitely a memorable one. Great game, great energy, and a really fun afternoon during a really, really fun weekend in Dallas!
