I was mostly there because of them but I do like Jason Robertson... fellow cat enthusiast and all. And, he had a grrreat game. The Stars ended up winning and somewhere during the game I found myself dangerously close to becoming a Dallas Stars fan... until I remembered what they did to my beloved Buffalo Sabres in the '90s. Trauma aside, this was a great afternoon/evening! The arena atmosphere was great even if the escalators could use some TLC, the surrounding area around the venue seemed pretty lively and easy to navigate, and the fans near us were excellent - friendly, engaged, and fun despite the fact we were perched way (way) up in the nosebleeds. I'm also thrilled to add another NHL arena to my list. This was only my fourth NHL venue, so I've still got a long way to go, but this was definitely a memorable one. Great game, great energy, and a really fun afternoon during a really, really fun weekend in Dallas!

The chants were cute of the Stars. The stadium was clean and the food was good. Great experience and I would highly recommend.

Home of the Frisco RoughRiders, this place was clean, easy to navigate, and genuinely fun from start to finish. Parking was a breeze, entry into the ballpark was quick and painless, and there were plenty of giveaways and activities happening throughout the evening. Sadly, I did not get my big Jumbotron moment this time around (heartbreaking, honestly) but I still had a great time with friends old and new walking around the ballpark before the game and during innings taking in the atmosphere, even if we didn't get to go into the lazy river! The game was, a baseball game - "Yay, Baseball!" The RoughRiders ended up winning which didn't hurt the experience :) One thing I was slightly confused by was the timing of the Friday night post-game fireworks. I assumed they'd begin shortly after the final out but there was a long delay while families and attendees were allowed onto the field. By the time the fireworks finally started, we had already started heading out and only caught a few bursts from the parking lot. Not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind if fireworks are a big part of your evening plans. Also worth mentioning: the gift shop had some fantastic merchandise, especially shirts featuring my favorite president. Prices were definitely steep though - but wow I was tempted! I believe one of my friends was persuaded to make a purchase, even if it was after the fact. All in all, Riders Field delivered exactly the kind of fun, relaxed baseball experience I remembered and was hoping for. Might I dare say, minor league baseball could be one of life's underrated joys ;)

We arrived there 10:45AM, June, 22, 2026, for the World Cup Group J match between Argentina vs Austria. What a great fans and place. We spent $10.86 for a cup of coke, $27.74 for a Crunchy California Rolls sushi and a bottle of water. We left the stadium around 2:30PM, we headed to Walmart for buying new luggage. We also went there on June 25 and June 27, a few minutes before matches Japan vs Sweden, and Argentina vs Jordan. We were looking for "last minute reasonable priced Tickets." Nothing was showed up on June 25. And on June 27, we only saw a few fans asking for tickets by holding small cardboards. Nobody were selling any tickets on site. What a good beginning and ending for the first ever journey to Texas!

I was charged a significant amount for food that was never delivered. After the event, I sent multiple emails and received no response. The only way I was able to recover my money was by disputing the charge through my credit card company. Before leaving the stadium, I went to Customer Service to try to resolve the issue. I have a broken foot, so making the trip across the stadium was painful and inconvenient, but I wanted to give them the opportunity to help. Instead, I was told it was a "known issue." The staff seemed completely uninterested in resolving the problem, offered no meaningful assistance, and no one even apologized. It's hard to understand how a venue hosting one of the world's premier sporting events can provide such poor customer service. My first World Cup experience should have been memorable for the match itself, not for spending weeks trying to recover money for food I never received. Very disappointing.

MLB Ballpark #27…read more Globe Life Field is a solid ballpark but it's in that middle range of ball parks like Cincinnati, Cleveland, Chicago White Sox, and Washington DC. I try to rate ball parks on 4 categories: Food, Architecture, Fanbase and something I just call Other Architecture: Kind of felt somewhat "cookie cutter" but there was a huge glass wall along the outfield lines that is cool. The roof is retractable but was closed when I was there so that may be why it felt cookie cutter to me. I like my baseball outdoors even if it is 98 degrees. Food: They have all the usual fair that you would expect. Then they have the insane! A sombrero nacho hat for 40.00. This is more of a 9-layer dip than actual nachos. You can actually eat the hat, and we did. I had another friend get a 24-inch hot dog that was more of a sauage with grilled onions and chili. He ate the whole thing! Luckily, he wasn't rooming with me that night. The beer selection didn't seem as large as I would like. They should have more local breweries like Martin House on tap. Fanbase: The place wasn't full on a Friday night, but it was probably 2/3's full and the fans were all cheering and dressed up in Rangers' gear. Lots of ladies in jerseys and cowboy boots. Other: Texas Live! is next door so you can get a crappy beer and pregame there. It's also next door to Jerry's World (Cowboys). There is tons of parking but it was 60.00 to park by the stadium.
