Claimed this PS4 controller charger listed for 3,590 but they charged me over 4,000 tickets. After the guy at the counter charged me, I told him the item was listed for less. He checked the item where I showed him (see pic), then said it was a wrong label. Asked him if they would at least honor the price posted, and he said they wouldn't. No apology or willingness to make things right, whatsoever. Still can't believe I was scammed by what I considered to be my favorite arcade in DFW. Be sure to ALWAYS verify how much this arcade changes you at the prize counter. I also recommend checking out other arcades in the area.

The rooms are broken or worn out. 4 initial rooms could not be entered, holding back access to 2-3 more rooms each. Anything that required touching showed its age with wear. Some rooms required crawling with worn out floors that hurt to crawl on. The place is connected to a trampoline park, we had random young kids running around Labyrinth area unsupervised. The potential.... We were able to get through 2 areas completely! The obstacle course to get through a volcano was fun! The Asylum area was great as well. But so many rooms we were just clueless as to the clues. I am not the world's best escape room person, but I've completed dozens. Hard tasks are good, nearly impossible to figure out tasks are rough, racially with broken down interactions. When this place was new, I bet it was great. For $60 total we were entertained for two hours well enough, but I can't really recommend this place with all the broken and worn down interactions. There have been a few times that my gate has changed-at the last minute of course-and I've almost lost my breath shuttling to the opposite side of the airport to board my plane in time. Now I know why! This, however, was the first time my gate was located in Terminal D. Lo and behold, there were even MORE dining options but what instantly caught my eye and held my attention was the "Coca-Cola Around the World Experience." It's a Coca-Cola MUSEUM in DFW airport. I happen to enjoy quirky installations in unexpected places, and this one showcases everything from an interactive photo booth to a curated collection of vintage Coke memorabilia and even a digital archives explorer. It felt like I went from Santa Fe to Santa Ana. Speaking of Santas, it's known as the Christmas Capital, but in the off-season, the only thing Christmas-like was me thinking, "Jesus Christ, these long stretches of sidewalk feel empty" Granted, it was the midday lull, and many of the shops and restaurants seemed spread out or closed as early as 5:00 PM. It's a nice, free place for a slow-paced stroll, but a bit underwhelming if you are looking for a vibrant atmosphere.

Downtown Grapevine is one of my favorite areas to visit, there are numerous local shops, a farmers…read moremarket, art gallery, museum(s), restaurants, a book store, trinity metro Tex rail station etc. Downtown grapevine has various community events throughout the year and is known as the Christmas Capital of Texas. There are statues and benches throughout the downtown area that add to the charm of historic downtown grapevine. Some of my favorite areas in the historic downtown area are talking animals (book shop), house of shine (non-profit/museum) and the farmer's market of grapevine. I look forward to my next visit.
