A first rate coffee shop that puts the indie coffee shops of Austin to shame. And I should know - living in Austin and spending a lot of time in coffee shops. If Lettuce Indulge was in my hometown, it would be my number one hangout coffee shop. They specialize in very high quality straight up coffee, their own self-invented elaborate coffee drinks - and healthy main dishes. I did a straight up espresso and a chicken and good-for-you-stuff bowl. The straight up espresso was so good - I went for a second about twenty minutes later. I don't have a coffee taster's vocabulary - But this was a non-burnt, non-heavy, complicated, intriguing brew. It was not like any coffee I had had in a long time. * * * The chicken bowl beat the stupid stuff Starbucks sells you for lunch easily. My home coffee shops vary in the quality of their kitchens. There are some sandwiches and salads to die for. There is also a lot of mediocre stuff that makes Starbucks lunch look good. If my chicken bowl had been rated on an Austin scale from 1 to 10, It would have been a solid 8. I would be happy to eat that over and over and over again. * * * The room is fine. The folks who work there are super super friendly and super super nice. * * * The establishment closes on Sundays ... So I am going to guess that one of the owners or maybe a huge percentage of the staff are dedicated Christians. There is a lot of idealism in the craftsmanship that goes into the coffee. Same for the idealism that goes into the food. Plus the room has a very healthy vibe. There is a lot of virtue in this establishment. Virtue is a good thing. read more

This place is so so good. It's so healthy and fresh, you don't even feel like you're eating out. It feels like a thoughtful meal made at home. It's a cute little spot with a coffee shop vibe and great service but the food is the star of the show. I would recommend to anyone into clean eating (or anyone in general). read more

She sat me down at a table thinking she would come back to take my order. Ten minutes later as I watched her walk past me multiple times I said I was ready to order. Highly recommend!!Amazing ambience. Lots of greenery, herbs growing. Menu was vast- featuring lettuce wraps, protein bowls, entrees, vegan options, teas, coffees, smoothies, frozen meat you can buy and take home, a salad cooler, juice cooler, and so much more! You order at the front and they bring it out. I had a roasted chicken quinoa bowl, with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, arugula, feta, and their signature lemon basil dressing! I ordered a side of avocado lime dressing, and had a green tea with lavender (unsweetened), and added stevia. The only thing is that the staff kinda doesn't say much. The girl who rang me up didn't know what the dressing was on the bowl, seemed to not know the menu well, and was friendly enough, but just needed more training or something. I'm a foodie so- I studied the menu beforehand. I used to own a 4 star in Louisiana. I knew every aspect of menu. I overtipped her up front. She brought the food but didn't check on me. I had to ask for things. I really didn't care because I love to eat in peace. But they weren't busy enough to be so.... I don't know... a little snooty? They spoke a lot to each other. The food was made where you could see it. All sustainable, farm to table, organic, etc... when I left, I asked for a to go container. Another girl brought it while the main girl was sweeping all around me (kind of a no no). The other girl was cute and more friendly. Seemed comfortable. I even was going to buy a tin of their tea but it wasn't marked. I asked the main girl how much it was. She said she would check, kept sweeping and doing her side work, and didn't come tell me the price until I was leaving (a sale lost). It's my 3rd time there and the staff is always kinda like that... almost as of they expect you to know the menu yourself. But when I left, one of the chefs opened the door and walked out with me. He was super nice. I guess it's hit and miss with the service but they do deliver it in a timely manner and it's super fresh. I just never let any of my servers hit the floor or greet a guest unless they could describe each dish with such detail that your mouth watered. I upsold. I checked on people and so did my staff. Location is right off the main highway. Bypass the Starbucks and go into this location for a local coffee from CJ's. Even though CJ's and Lettuce Indulge are separate businesses, they share a space with a wonderful environment. Service may seem slows but it's because they make your food fresh to order! The medium sirloin paired with bacon and blue cheese crumbles is completed with their creamy garlic or avocado lime dressing is a perfect salad that won't leave you hungry in an hour. The Chicken House is generously proportioned and hearty! If you think Avocado toast is overrated- it very well could be... At other places- but no here! First time eating here and it definitely won't be my last time. Everything was so fresh, well seasoned and full of flavor. I ordered the Waygu steak and provolone sandwich on gluten free bread. This is one of my favorite places ever. The coffee is so good at this location. I get honey ( just OG honey not the vanilla one) iced latte with an extra shot. The food is one of my favorite spots because it's affordable and healthy!!!! I usually will get an uptown bowl with the steak or the steak dinner and it comes with zucchini noodles and potatoes! Solid vegan-friendly restaurant! We're traveling to see family, and in general in the Denison/Sherman area, for vegan options you're looking at chain restaurants. This place is across the street from our hotel. We've been here twice already, once for breakfast and once for lunch. The menu is identical. First time I did the Powered By Plants avocado toast and the second time the same thing but in a wrap. quite good-- I really like the mushrooms In particular. service was great and friendly. Ample seating inside, and for lunch they also have outdoor seating. One note -- bring a sweater. The ac is quite cold. If we lived here I totally would eat here 2-3 times a week. It's solid and good (and healthy) food. My only complaints/suggestions is that I'd love to see some tofu or tempeh on the menu, but this is a minor quibble. Tl;dr -- if you live here and you're vegan, you should be coming here often. If you're visiting and you're vegan, definitely come here! read more

So happy this restaurant exists! Finding food in Denison that is both vegetarian and gluten free is pretty non existent. Lettuce Indulge has several options for both. Everything tasted well and love that they make things like their bread in house. Their staff is always friendly. Only thing I wish they wouldn't do is the "It's just gonna ask you a question" tip thing in the drive through. Happy to tip when I'm waited on inside but it makes me uncomfortable being asked to tip in a drive through. Otherwise, I really love everything about this place. read more

We're in town for a week and the thought of processed chain restaurant food isn't a pleasant thought. This place is behind Culver's so we saw it and we're intrigued by the name. It's catchy. My wife looked it up on Yelp and it was an easy decision. Today we both ordered skillets - mine was the vegetation and my wife's was a chicken skillet. Both were ideally cooked and the seasoning was excellent. Hint: get the potatoes. I didn't try the quinoa but based on what I had it's probably a home run too. The service was top notch. The lady that took our order was so helpful. She patiently guided us through the menu which helped us make our choices.
