Friendly service Clean and contemporary environment. The food was delicious and great presentation. Lovely place for quick lunch.

Amazing pizza from their cool Oven

This place is truly a gem !! The food quality and the customer service is amazing. The Levant pizza and the Levant sandwich is a must must try .... And of course the rice plates are so delicious as well . I've been coming here 3 x a week for lunch . It's a drive for me as I'm coming from Glendora , but well worth it .

    Beef sandwich. Gynormous.

Man. This place rocks. Fresh, easy and delicious. I ordered the beef sandwich and my jaw dropped. Look at how big the sucker is.

we had a very good experience here. their vegetarian dishes are marked on the menu but my boyfriend is vegan. there was a little bit a language barrier, but they were very understanding and mindful of what was safe for him to eat. he got the falafel plate with garlic fries and hummus and a side of tabbouleh. i got a side of baba ganoush and it came with pita to dip. i was surprised that they made this with yogurt when i think it typically is non dairy. the food came out quickly and i thought everything tasted really good although the tabbouleh was really heavy on the tomato and onion and tasted more like a pico de gallo. we were wearing hospital visitor stickers so i think maybe staff was a little kinder to us because of it. they also gifted everyone dining in (which was like 3 tables at the time) a plate of baklava which was so gorgeous. we ultimately regifted it to hospital staff who was grateful for it (and my boyfriend couldn't eat it anyway because honey) so it was a win win for everyone.

    Beef "shawarma"

I ordered a beef shawarma. They used a flour tortilla to wrap the "sandwich" It was mostly beef with little filling of tomato and red onion. Flavor was decent but overall not worth $15

Glad I didn't believe the comment about the decline in flavor of the chicken. No complaints here. Inside was clean and kinda small for the amount of tables and chairs in there. The outside space was nice, clean, and quiet. That's not big either. However, it will do. They even provide shade. Definite plus.

Sadly, the quality and quantity of food has been going down these past 2 years. Prices keep going up which I understand and that's not my complain. In spite of all that I still went, not as frequently as in the past. But the last time I went on a Monday around noon, the greek salad was probably a day or two old. It was inedible so I had to toss it. I realized it after I got home. The beef kabobs were so thin and small, not worth the price anymore. This place used to be known for having long lines (but it moves fast) but not anymore and I can see why. I get a feeling they are not interested in keeping the place open for much too long. It's bittersweet since I live in the area and it used to be one of my go to places.

This place is a REAL WINNER!…read more My son brought me here today for lunch. Wasn't sure that I was in the mood for Mediterranean but I agreed to go. So glad I decided to have lunch there! The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable and the guy who took our order was so kind and helpful. I couldn't believe how flavorful everything was! I got the chicken Shawarma and now I won't go anywhere else for Mediterranean. I live in Glendale so I've got a lot of Mediterranean restaurants around me; I've been to a handful of them. But none of them comes close to how delicious this place was. Thank you! You are now my go to Mediterranean restaurant.

They're family owned and operated and had a bunch of yummy sounding options. I got their falafel, dolmas, cheese and meat boreg, chicken shawarma wrap, filet mignon and chicken thigh combo plate, and baklava to try. This was my first time ever trying falafels, dolmas, and boregs and wow. The falafel had a Fun crunchy outside with a crumbly yet not dry inside and full of aromatic flavors. The dolmas were really good too. Moist and herby. The boregs kinda reminded me of empanadas in both flavors and textures from the crisp fried outer pastry to savory fillings. The chicken shawarma wrap was stuffed with tender marinated chicken, fries, a bit of tomato and pepper and schmearing of creamy garlicy spread, and came with a side of refreshing cucumber yogurt salad. The best part was when that pita soaked up all the other juices of the chicken to make it even more flavorful. The meats in the combo plate had a nice char, were super savory, flavorful, well seasoned but were a bit overcooked and dry. But that's ok cuz that's where the super flavorful dips came in. There was the refreshing cucumber salad, smooth creamy nutty hummus, and pungent garlicy sauce that paired perfectly with everything. It also came with rice, an herby bright tabouleh salad, pickled turnips and crunchy fresh onions. The baklava was MASSIVE and was a bit dry and hard but had plenty of crisp pastry layers, crunchy nuts, was amazingly sweet and cinnamony. Overall this place is pretty good. Boreg $14 Falafel $8 Dolma $7 Chicken shawarma wrap $17 Combo beef filet and chicken thigh $28 Baklava $4

They can get busy at times. A little wait is worth it. service is overall sufficient. A local burger joint vibe. I may lack the background to appreciate their mediterranean dishes but I have tried them. I still prefer the chicken, it is a safer choice if you are that not into Mediterranean foods. Hot sauce, garlic sauce, and the pita bread are a must. The nutty dessert baklava is good as well, sweet & sticky. Overall. This is a good place that offers amazing rotisserie chicken, way better than the ones from the supermarkets or the wholesales place. Just my two cents. Make your choice wisely ;)

We heard good things about Sahara and decided to check it out yesterday; and it exceeded expectations. I had the beef kebab plate, while my mom and brother had the chicken kebab plate. We loved how they had complimentary snacks (olives, cheese, and cucumber) and also that the plate came with either soup or salad. The meat dishes were so flavorful and honestly the best we've had at any restaurant. They gave a lot of meat too; 8 pieces each dish. The baba ghanoush was also great. Last but not least, Mary, our server, was extremely pleasant and attentive. We can't wait to go back!

My first impression was how friendly everyone is, both employees and customers. I also noticed the aroma of mesquite smoke, which is a principle difference between their food and many others that use gas grills. The wonderful lady at the counter welcomed me and suggested the split kabob plate with half each beef and chicken. She also gave me the lunch and dinner menus to peruse. I grabbed a table and didn't wait long before my order was ready. Lots of rice pilaf, hummus, and tabouli. Additionally, there was a portion of garlic sauce. The portion of meat was equally impressive. I was still afflicted with recent dental work so I had to eat slowly and carefully. Their food is very crushable if not for that. They also quarter the pita bread which allows easier dipping or making mini wraps. Anyhow, I'm sure I'll be back sooner than later to try the Lula (aka koubideh), lamb, and other unique house specials. The essence of wood smoke is especially good, so that's a high mark. 4.5 overall My only criticisms are the rice could have been warmer, and the sauce more garlicky.
