You get a LOT of food for a pretty reasonable price here, so more bang for your buck versus some other Mediterranean places that I've been to before. The flavors on the rice, chicken, and hummus that I got were decent, and worth the price, but definitely not the best that I've ever had. Found parking fairly easy in the back of the restaurant. Very clean inside, you order at the counter, and sit anywhere you like. It was two other customers in the entire place. This mediterranean spot is more of a casual on the go type of place. The food was okay. I've eaten a lot of Mediterranean food spots and this place just didn't do it for me. The quality of the food was okay, and it just lacked a lot of flavor, it pretty much lacked flavor on all the food. Usually plates come with hummus and they said it an extra charge instead of automatically coming with it. The staff was very pleasant and no complaints with the service. This place is a small whole in the wall, but is incredibly pleasant on all levels- pleasant staff and service, the food takes some time, but is reasonable, especially since they are making everything to order, and aren't taking things from the freezer and re-heating it, like some of these places. They sell baklava, which I didn't get to try. I will have to come back to try this, because it looked quite tasty and fresh. Well currently on injured leave from work decided to try this spot I always by going to work near my home. The person took my order was super nice and ask for the special $12.99 w/ drink I see the sign outside when I pass by. Well the food was excellent and the chicken was so tendered. Family favorite! We typically get the south Pasadena family deal to go. It comes with a nice portion of food enough to feed my family of 5. This option comes with grilled chicken, rice, salad, pita bread along with two small sides. These are our favorite sides (tzatziki, garlic paste and pickled turnips) so so good! I typically order extra. The staff has always been super friendly and kind and typically they get orders out pretty quickly. I recommend ordering online in advance if you plan to takeout. Otherwise dine in is pretty clean but the space is limited. I'd say it's not ideal for parties over 4 unless you're willing to sit at separate tables. I'm a bit disappointed with this spot. I love Mediterranean food but the items I ordered were lacking a lot of seasoning. I ordered the chicken wrap and something was missing. It could have used a sauce or more flavor to elevate the quality. The plate I ordered was decent. My favorite part was the rice and salad but the beer was not very tender. I was super hungry when I ordered so I still ate it lol. The service was quick about 15 minutes or so. I came away from this meal surprised at how BLAND everything tasted. The chicken in the kebab wrap was cooked well. The veggies tasted fresh. But I couldn't taste a lick of seasoning. I slathered on hummus and tahini...yet still not much lol. I resorted to salting it myself. The most seasoned things here between the wrap and Beef Shwarma was the salad! Discovered Cafe X2O during a Yelp event that started at the Canoe House and was a walking tour of South Pas eats and drink. I've been to Cafe X2O a few times since the event and have had a good experience each time. The staff are friendly and attentive. But they get a little busy. First let me start by saying the food is generally good. This rating is being given due to the incredibly poor customer service today. When I order a meal (such as a kabab plate) I had asked if I could skip the meat and just replace that with either more salad or rice as I am a vegetarian. I made clear I would pay the full price of the meal as if it had meat - I just couldn't eat it so I thought I'd ask if they could leave it out. I was told that could not be done - which is really odd -- and then they handed me a meal with the meat draped over the entire bed of rice and part of the salad. They could have just put it on the side out of consideration. This isn't an unreasonable request. it was really rudely received and they were not at all nice about it. While I wont be back I just don't want others to be treated this way. read more

The chicken kabobs were very tender and juicy and full of flavor that I really enjoy and the rice was incredible good and fluffy that I really like. The garlic spread was very good I use on the Chicken and the rice it more flavor then I on the pita bread so good. The side was very good. My wife enjoy her falafel very much that's her favorite she say the falafel have tons of flavors and she give a piece of falafel wow it was so good I enjoy it.
