    Welcome to Levante Flight
    Dante M.

I have heard nothing but amazing this about Levante Brewing from multiple people and Philly food critics, so I decided that I should check it out while I was in West Chester. My friend and I split the Welcome to Levante flight ($12 for the flight) which consisted of 4 of their main beers: Cloudy & Cumbersome (IPA), tickle parts (IPA), Strata Swerve (double IPA), and Mercurial Silk (Double Milk stout). All of these beers were absolutely phenomenal! My favorite though was the Mercurial Stout because of how thick and rich it tasted. You could really taste the cacao it's made with and was pretty much a dessert. Another favorite was the Tickle Parts, which had a slight bitter flavor and a slight citrus flavor. It was super smooth which lead to a great experience! They also had a food truck of artisanal pizzas which all looked amazing, but we had just finished lunch and didn't get to try it! Definitely check out their food truck rotation before going, but the pizza seems to be most popular since it's affiliated with the brewery. I was super happy that they had a flight of their best beers to try, as I would have spent so much time deciding which one to get, but they obviously made that job easy! If you're in the West Chester area, definitely check out Levante brewery for awesome beers!

Too hot to sit outside, beautiful sunset .

Cool place , little on the small side . Bartenders were awesome and fun . The ring games had us going for a while . The seafood truck was expensive but very good . My favorite local beer , will definitely be back .

Levantes is the next Yuengling in terms of impact. Their concoctions are amazingly creative, tasty, detail oriented, yet simplistic in approach....the creation of a well crafted beer. June 30: Had placed an order to be delivered. The Snozberry Fruit Fetish was damaged in transit, due to the heat. Brett in shipping rectified the issue immediately. My order arrived the next day. His customer service was prompt, timely and corrective. Give that man a raise!

We had an excellent time at Levante Brewing Company. They have an impressive number of beers on tap and the staff was very friendly. One of the cool things they have going on is that you can order not only flights of beer, but also pickles. We enjoyed the varietals though the Philly Dilly Deli was my favorite. To pair, we enjoyed a nice shandy off their menu and split one of their pizzas. The Il Solstizio was absolutely delicious and enough for two folks to split so long as nobody was too hungry. The homemade ranch really made this one a banger. All in all, it was a great time and there is plenty of outdoor seating (or near outdoor) for COVID safe beer-drinking experience. Tip: We came on a Saturday and there was a cool farmer's market going on outside with lots of vendors giving away samples!

Wide variety of beers and all very well done. Birra Di Levante - Solid Pilsner with good flavor. Not too complex. True to other pilsners that have paved the way. Cloudy & Cumbersome Mango - Amazing! I really enjoy fruity and/or citrusy IPAs. This one was hazy and flavorful. I could easily drink many of this one. King of the Crust - PB&J Stout!!! Solid beer. Its an imperial. Great flavors. Jolly By Nature - Solid Citrus IPA. Glaze By The Pound - Game-changer Imperial IPA. Sweet & citrusy. Very delicious. Not too big, but has outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Enjoyed talking to the regulars. ** This brewery & Tired Hands are my favorite breweries within a 42 mile radius.

Great beer and atmosphere. We ordered a mushroom pizza from the food truck parked outside. They have a nice selection of beer as well.

Good craft beer and on a recent Sunday it was packed --Inside the tap room as well as the outside patio. They have a strong lineup of well made beers. Friendly beertenders can answer questions and provide advice on whatever you are wanting to try. I really enjoyed their hazy IPA, Cloudy and Cumbersome as well as the Oblex Stout. Its pretty clear these guys are serious and passionate about their beer -- that is enough reason for me to return. Thanks for a fun experience and some tasty beer.

Best brewery in town hands down, especially on Saturday when the Growers Fair is rocking. Today we tried their new artisan pizza offerings as they have moved everything here since Chester Springs closed. The plain pie was outstanding. Roman/Neapolitan style. Mushroom pizza was delicious according to my wife and friend. The beer is cold and refreshing. Highly Recommended

Love this place! I had previously only been to the Stables, but I might enjoy the vibe of the taproom even more. Levante brews excellent beer, and they always have interesting new options. You can order a flight to try some of the more adventurous beers. I really liked the Glitter parts (IPA with lactose and strawberry) and Jolly by Nature - we ended up bringing some of each home. They have an awesome outdoor space, and the service was great. Not sure what the food options are like all the time, but we had a roast beef sandwich with horseradish Mayo, and salt and pepper crinkle fries which was all tasty and satisfying. Looking forward to returning!

    I dream of Levante....

I love this place so much. The beers are delish and the staff is awesome. Follow them on social media and keep up with all the happenings. Something great is happening at all times. And when I say something great- I mean FOOD. Food truck schedules (and events) are always posted on Facebook. Cheers to this brewery and the staff. A great time!

This Brewery may not be the easiest to locate if you are visiting from out of town, but definitely worth the trip! I was visiting over the weekend and read the reviews on Levante Brewery and decided why not?! What set it apart was that it was right next to the Artisanal Market which is open to the public on Saturdays from 11 to 2:00pm. So the idea was for us to grab lunch at the Market and then have a few beers at Levante but since we got there after 2:00pm, this didn't go as planned. But all good because Levante had an on-site food truck! Honestly, the vibe at this Brewery is super chill. They had a small outside area which they had heated lamps but we got lucky to get seating right at the bar. We immediately asked what they were known for so, he ordered the FORM and I got the Cloudy and Cumbersome. Both had great flavor! He decided to stick to the FORM while I ended up getting another one of their popular brews which is the Tickle Parts. This one I enjoyed as well and decided to round it out with Fruit Fetish was my absolute favorite! This fabulous concoction had Rose Petals & hip, Chardonnay and Cabernet Saugvignon pressed grapes. It was so good, we ended up grabbing a 4 pack to go! Another cool thing about this Brewery was they had "Untappd" on display as soon as you come in so you can discover and share feedback on beers! I would definitely come back and throw a few back :)

I would say these guys are solid addition to the local brewing scene. I did flights to cut across the entire selection. All of the beers seem to be well crafted. I particularly like both the Kolsch and saison. They also did a Nice English brown ale on The hand pump. Good mix of Hoppy and malty selections. If I had any complaints, I'd say they should add a Pilsner or two to the mix, and a quafabl. Glad to see that a Cider was on top as well - that was tasty! I particularly like the fact that they offer their beers in a variety of sizes that include 5,10, 12 and 16 ounce pours. They halso have an interesting canned growler capability. Given they have no food capability the apparently use local food trucks to supplement certain days. It was great that the food truck was there but they ran out of food way too soon. I would to see the food truck selection expanded during peak periods. They do have a calendar on their website that provides details on the events and food trucks etc. Interesting inside set up. Obviously a family run business at this point. But I would definitely add them to the list of respectable brewery based brewpubs in the Westchester Downingtown Malvern area.

What a great find! Levante Brewery is off the beaten path, but certainly an adventure worth taking. Great staff, brews and destination.

My mom tried the Cloudy & Cumbersome which looks like orange juice and has the flavor of an exceptional IPA.

Set in a snuff mill built in 1901, there's plenty of history to explore at this former manufacturing site. The brewery is located on the second floor of this family run spot with plenty of seating inside or out. We had the friendliest bartentder walk us through the beer options & quick history of the site and headed back downstairs to enjoy our brews in the spring sunshine. There's plenty of tables (with umbrellas for shade!) on the patio and some additional tables tucked underneath the small tree grove having the stage. There wasn't a food truck but judging from the table next to us, feel fee to bring your own picnic. The drive out to this area is half of the joy in this little spot, we know we'll be back again this summer.

The space inside is small and cozy, and the space outside is large and spectacular. Several tables, an outdoor bar, a huge lawn for cornhole and other games. The outdoor area alone seems worth the visit. It was a freezing cold March day so we spent all of our time inside. My girlfriend and I each tried a few different beers, including a porter, a brown ale, and an IPA. All were excellent. I love any brewery where the staff talk to you like old friends, and this was that kind of place. We made friendly conversation with the bartender and shared stories about the brewing scene in Delaware, his background, and our own experience with breweries in NJ where we are from. Wonderful hospitality. Due to the size of the brewery, they only had about eight beers on tap. Their mainstays are the Nit Wit (Belgian witbier) and the Hopworts Express (IPA), but beyond that they are unable to list on their website what beers are on tap, so you'll just have to be surprised when you show up. They don't seem to have any beers to sell to go, either. Overall a great place that we would definitely return to!

There was also a maker's market going on, with several vendors selling their goods, as well as a jazz musician on guitar nearby, as well as loads of shaded picnic tables which were great for eating our sandwiches from the Fork'n'Delicious food truck (sandwiches were huge!). There were also nice bathrooms, the trailer version, close by. Not to be forgotten, there's a beer stand, pouring lots of the Tired Hands beers. There was also a cans-to-go station in case you need some roadies. (See photos for draft/can lists) We grabbed sandwiches and drinks and ate at the picnic tables, listening to the jazz music, before heading up the hill. It wasn't too busy, but there was a decent amount of people. Ordering was never a long wait, with usually one 1 person in line at any time. Leading up the hill, there are paths and clearings, with gazebos dotting the landscape. Some other folks were having a birthday party in one near by -- what a great idea. We escaped the wind by hitting the Adirondack chairs at the top of the hill and enjoyed our beers while looking down upon the entire scene. Our dog especially loved the vantage point! There was also a few cornhole boards and a frisbee golf area nearby. While the shed was closed that day due to staffing issues, my friend told me it's a can shed, so presumably you could grab drinks right there and not have the longer walk back. Worth noting: there are some ankle breakers near the top of the hill -- we think they're black walnuts -- big, round, and treacherous, so consider yourself warned! By the time we left, there was a full band playing and the crowd was growing in size. We really enjoyed our time here, and look forward to checking it out again on a less windy day.
