    Zo's Chic Deluxe Sandwich
    Phylicia H.

A solid spot on bridge street for some good beers, food and a place to watch the games. For apps, we shared the brussel sprouts which were very good and not too oily at all. I enjoyed the pork belly with every bite! I ordered the beet grain bowl, and it was enormous! It was big enough to feed the table! Very large portion with a lot of fresh ingredients. I just wish the dressing was a bit stronger. I loved the creaminess of it, but it was very bland and needed more to make the bowl stand out. Maybe balsamic? My bf ordered Zoe's chicken deluxe and that receives a 10/10. Absolutely delicious with addicting fries! I'd definitely come back!

Great location, good beer, and one heck of a chicken sandwich make for a good day in downtown Phoniexville. Located directly across the street from the iconic Colonial movie theater where the blob was orginally filmed lies this casual brewery with some pub food that is sure to hit the spot. There were quite a few items my girlfriend and I were deciding upon before making our 1:30pm movie time and we settled on the Zo's chicken deluxe. This beaut of a sandich comes fried with American cheese and a garlic aioli sauce that really takes this sanwich up a notch. First thing that entered my mind after the first or second bite was the words, "By God this sandwich is better than Chick-fila". That is when I knew we had certainly picked a great menu item. The fries were very good as well however I only had a handful, fries are too addicting and I am trying to cut back on them as the level of sodium coupled with any fried sandwich is not great for anyone's health. Beer - Went with the "Ring the Bell" unfiltered Pilsner and it a most excellent smooth and easy drinkable beer. 16oz for $6.00 yes please! Girlfriend went with the Fednuts : Peach Melba Fruited Ale. I had a sip and there was a little bit too much going on in the fruited ale for me but certainly had its own unique flavor which includes : Peach, raspberry, and vanilla bean flavors. Seemed like the place was a bit short handed and I must make a note that the party of four seated a few tables ahead of us looked like they were legit being attacked by bees. Girlfriend and I were even thinking of buying them a dessert on us so the bees would stay at their table and not come near us...hey c'mon now don't judge you! But seriously choose your seat and food wisely in the summer time ; ) As always people SYOY!!

I was there for a private event. The food was NOT on the menu (it was very good, though). My beer was very tasty, I sipped it carefully as it was 11%. I can't speak to the games that they have available as I didn't play them, but others did and seemed to enjoy them.

Came in for a beer - had the Mike & Merrill Hazy IPA and Festbier! Nice spot across from Colonial theater and cool setup in the back for activities.

Wasn't a fan of the food here. I've had brussel sprouts from their Havertown location, and a burger. And I was obsessed. So I was excited to dive in here. Their sprouts, however... explode with oil the second you chomp into them. Not. Appetizing. which is a shame because otherwise the flavor would've been killer. They are also not advertised as deep fried, and I wouldn't have ordered them if I'd known. My gf got their crispy chicken sandwich. And crispy it was not. Just lightly breaded, and no real flavor. Nothing to go back for unfortunately. My friends, however enjoyed their burger and salad. I will say, however, that they shined in service and beers! (I usually am not a Conshy fan so I was pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was extremely attentive, and personable. The prices are also very fair. I'd go back for beer and maybe another light bite, but hopefully they work on the menu a little by then (aka don't deep fry the sprouts, please!).

What I like: great game concept. Big with lots of capacity. Free games sun-tues. good but not great beer list. Local distilled spirits. What did not like: pricey drinks. Limited app. Selection ( fried...)

What a cool place to enjoy a few drinks. Beautifully laid out space for dining, a huge game room, and plenty of bar seating. The transition from indoor to outside seating was a highlight of the night especially with the street summer closing. I didn't order food but enjoyed several very good craft beers. Even got a history lesson about the movie theater across the street..

My husband and I spent our Friday evening hopping between a few different breweries in Phoenixville and Rec Room was one of them. Although I can't say it was my favorite of the few, I still had a great experience. I first started off with a gummy mode strawberry hard seltzer which is gluten free. I wasn't too crazy about it but I'm thankful that they have a hard seltzer on the menu since I'm not a big beer drinker. I always appreciate when businesses have food and beverages of all different kinds and can cater to people with dietary restrictions. As for food, we got beer fried cheese curds and brussel sprouts and both were a hit. The cheese curds were a little soggy but still delicious. They would have been just perfect if they were a bit crispier! They came with two dipping sauces: chipotle ranch and sriracha aioli and the second one was for sure my favorite! The brussel sprouts were fantastic and I would definitely get them again. Although brussel sprouts are sometime assumed to be a vegetarian option, note that they are not here because Rec Room adds crispy pork belly to theirs. One final thing worth noting is that Rec Room is handling the pandemic very well. All utensils were disposable, drinks were served in plastic cups meaning they are not reused, and our waiter maintained a good distance when taking orders and serving us. I felt very comfortable the entire time I was there. Looking forward to making another stop here one day, hopefully before the summer ends!

We came here at the end of the night after stopping at some other places down the street. I was hungry so I got the Philly mac and cheese and the lo mein. Both were pretty good and it was definitely too much food. They have ping pong and shuffleboard tables in the back that we played on for a while. Overall, this place wasn't really my kind of place. It was very loud and felt like they were targeting the just out is college crowd. Our friends that were in that age range liked it.

My first time here and I am hooked!! Despite the fact the actual "rec room" and games aren't available due to COVID, I would come here again and again for the food and beer brewed by the Conshohoken Brewing Company. I am not a beer girl by a LONG shot but the Philly Vice was the perfect drink for a cocktail lover looking to slowly branch out into the beer world. The food was fantastic bringing bar food to a whole different level of class. I will be back!

It's a cool place that I wished I had more time to visit. What drew my interest the number of vegan options that they had on their menu. Vegan Nachos and Vegan Pizzas. There are also some handhelds as well. I was with a group of 35 at another restaurant that did not have vegan options so I called ahead, placed my order and picked it up around 6:30 pm. At that time, there was a good sized crowd inside and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I paid for my vegan pizza, and then without drawing too much attention to myself, walked into the restaurant and went to the second floor that was reserved for us. My pizza was excellent. The Vegan Blanco Vegan Mozzarella, Tofu Ricotta, Sauteed Spinach, EVOO, Garlic I haven't had pizza in about 3 months so i was definitely looking forward to it. I really enjoyed how they did the Tofu Ricotta the Vegan Mozzarella. My only critique is this - When working with vegan cheese - especially shredded, let it sit at room temperature before popping it in the oven. By doing this, you avoid the 'matchstick' look on the pizza. What happens is that the vegan cheese going from cold to hot is too extreme so it doesn't melt, or spread out - it essentially cooks / burns in place. Having worked with vegan cheese companies over the years, there is a misconception that it is bad to leave the vegan cheese outside on the countertop - not really, it's not cheese. I devoured my pizza and appreciated having a vegan option besides fries and a veggie medley.
