At first I was kinda skeptic about the cabbage not being submerged in the liquids (since that's how I had it in the past) but it still holds the flavor good. When we first sat down, the owner came up to the table after our order was taken and asked if we wanted chips and guac. He made it fresh and how we wanted it, since I'm not too big on spice he had the jalapeños on the side for my husband. It was flavored so well that we actually ate it with our pupusas too.
