Arrived at 8:45p and was refused the crickets even though they were right in front of me. Supposedly only one person who works there can do the crickets and they left early today and the manager wouldn't come out of his little hidden office to take care of us. Ridiculous. There were three workers at the cash register chatting and no one would help me. I literally told them it was for some newly hatched roadrunners that came in and they just looked at me and said we don't care you're not getting crickets tonight. What the hell is wrong with people nowadays? Zero customer service. Needless to say I was very pissed off and made it known, loudly. Trust me avoid the unnecessary stress and go to Petco.

When I arrived, the phone number on the curbside side was so faded from the sun that was almost impossible to read, so I couldn't call to let the store know I was there. Instead, I had to go inside, stand in line, and then wait while an employee was paged. When my order was finally brought out, I was given it in a shopping cart, and I was singly told to "have a nice day." no one offered to load the heavy bags into my car. That completely defeats the purpose of curbside pick up, special for customers who choose it because they need assistance. Thankfully, I have someone at home who could help me unload the bags, but I still need help getting them into my vehicle. I hope the store replaces the faded curbside signage and better trains employees and what curbside service is supposed to include. Make a big difference for customers with injuries, disabilities or anyone purchasing heavy items.

I came in to buy a heat lamp dome fixture and superworms for my bearded dragon because his heat lamp went out. The only fixture they had in stock had a damaged box with a large dent and a visible tear like it was stepped on, so I asked if a discount could be offered. Instead of simply saying no, Sandy argued with me, took the fixture out of the box, and kept insisting the product wasn't damaged. My concern was the damaged packaging, not the fixture itself. She told me to take it home, try it, and come back for a refund if it didn't work, which was not a reasonable solution since it was the only one in stock and my bearded dragon needed a working heat lamp. I then asked if I could receive a discount on the superworms because I've bought them before and they have consistently contained fewer than the advertised 50 worms. Sandy responded by saying she would open the container and count every worm herself. I found that response completely unprofessional. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was simply requesting a courtesy discount on a damaged package and bringing up a recurring issue with the superworms. Instead, I was met with an argument over both issues. When I got home, I counted the superworms, and there were only 41 instead of the advertised 50. I have video proof of me opening the package but its too long to post on here. I've already filed a complaint with PetSmart corporate and the Better Business Bureau, but I also wanted to document my experience here. Also, I've bought a bag of dog food once and it was infested. They told me it happens sometimes. No big deal! (Sarcasm) Anyways, I love PetSmart but this location SUCKS and they should fire Sandy. I'll be driving farther to shop at a different one.

Sierra helped us out and let us interact and pet all of the Syrian hamsters they had. None of them were quite right for us, but Sierra was just outstanding. I was really blown away with how helpful she was and how well she knew the different hamsters. So often you go to a pet store and the employees don't get to spend a lot of time with the animals, and the animals are less social because of that. I wish that employees could spend more time with the animals - because they are the heart of the store. Anyway, definitely a great store, great energy, great layout, and fantastic service!

As I arrived and stood outside the door, I suddenly heard a grooming lady yelling and shouting at my puppy very aggressively. I rushed in to see what was happening, and she told me my puppy was biting her. But the moment she saw me, her attitude completely changed -- she started acting nice and gentle toward my puppy, which felt very strange and uncomfortable. No pet parent should ever have to witness their pet being treated that way. I truly hope the management looks into this and ensures better care, patience, and professionalism from their staff in the future
