They needed his rabies verification so I popped into Banfield next door on my way in and they printed out the info so I could give that to the groomer. They were very sweet. There were a few other dogs getting trims when we got there. They took him straight back and said they would call in a couple hours to pick up. When I left him there I just walked over to the cashier at Pet smart to pay for the grooming and showed my receipt when I picked him up. It was easy peasy. If it's your first visit they give you a discount. That was cool! When I picked him up he looked pretty and smelled fresh and fruity. I also love to shop at Petsmart because they have a variety of supplies. I enjoy the pet costumes collars and harnesses. They carry crates and beds and bunny supplies and reptile supplies as well. All the things. There is always something on sale. They have a pet hotel, too. I recommend this store. Check it out! read more

I arrived within the hour and she told me that they don't have anyone to help me and that "I told you on the phone that we don't take walk ins for tonight". I'm sure she must have confused me with another caller as she told me I could come if it is just for a small dog nail trim as a walk in. I walked out and found another place to bring my dog. This review is specific to their grooming services, the grooming services team, and my experience across three visits. It is my belief that your satisfaction with your dog's grooming is dependent on who you book with here. My puppy has been cared for by Gio G., Billy W., and Brandy M. In my experience with these three different individuals, I have no complaints about their customer service nor do I have any complaints about their work with my puppy. They each did a pleasant job, our interactions have been straightforward, and my puppy was picked up each time with no concerns. While I have not had a bad experience, I can affirm the concerns other reviews have mentioned regarding customer service and some members of the team lacking in a positive attitude, seemingly not wanting to work. Apart from Gio, Billy, and Brandy--my interactions with and observations of other employees within grooming services have lacked in customer service and were generally unfriendly. For example, in one instance, I could tell that a member of the grooming services team was a new hire. A colleague (potentially leadership, I am unsure) was rough in tone and short in helpfulness with this new employee's questions and experience in trying to assist my family and me. The new hire was doing the best possible with the minimal given from their fellow team member. I found this to be unnecessary and unkind. Another example was one I encountered recently. A groomer working with a dog asked who I was booked with, and I answered with the name of the groomer I saw online. Upon hearing the name I replied with, she looked into the system as she unenthusiastically said that the groomer I booked with called out. She then found my appointment in their system and looked at me to say, as if annoyed, that I was actually booked with another groomer. I stared back at her blankly as if this was supposed to mean something to me. She then went to get the groomer. First, if the groomer I booked with called out--I still have an appointment. The friendly customer service thing to do would be to inform me of the situation, check the system, and confirm who would instead be helping me today, while reassuring that my substitute groomer would do just as excellent of a job. Second, the groomer I booked with and the system changing the groomer based on absence has happened to me before. I derive two things from this--the system changes the groomer without alerting me and that this individual annoyed with me clearly does not know the capacity of their own system. This is not a problem, because she is in grooming services and not technology, but simply being helpful by doing your job and with a good attitude would make for great business. Lastly, and again, I have seen other groomers be coarse and uninterested. I have seen it enough to where I question bringing my puppy back, because it seems some groomers do not know how to treat others and I am convinced that they are just trying to get through their workday. I understand that their job is not easy and can be taxing, so I am very grateful for their work and the time they put into caring for our pets in a way that we are not all skilled nor trained to. However, the general lack of good customer service and lack of warmth towards others are discourteous and concerning in this line of work. If it were not for the good experiences I had with Gio, Billy, and Brandy--this rating would have been just one star. With that being said, I recommend being thoughtful and intentional with the selection of your groomer and really considering where you want to give your business, because we are trusting these people with our fur babies and you want to be confident about that decision. read more

I wish that a no (zero) star was possible. I am not even sure where to begin with this review but it certainly needs to be heard. My family and I decided to spend Christmas in Las Vegas and I have 2 PSD's (Psychiatric Service Dog) as a combat veteran. My oldest dog will be 13 next year and my newest one turned 2 this past August. I can admit that my teen fur baby is a spitfire, she is also still in training but loves to play and is full of energy. My senior fur baby is just that senior, she is super chill and prefers to lounge most of the day. We live in California so we decided to drive to Las Vegas because initially my babies were going to be staying with me in the hotel, but we decided that since we'd be in and out a lot it may be good for them to board and play with other fur babies. BIG MISTAKE! My fur babies were dropped of on December 23, 2024 to be picked up on December 27, 2024 at the time of check in I paid for some package that included Christmas photo and some other what knots. On the morning of December 27th we arrived to pick up my fur babies and the young lady takes their carriers back to put them in and bring them to us, upon her return I was speaking with her colleague about some of the things we'd done while in Las Vegas. One thing that could have been problematic upon our arrival was an issue with a coupon but they seemed to work it out amongst themselves. Nothing could have prepared me for the blatant negligence I was about to encounter. When I got them to the hotel room we immediately took them out of the carriers to feed them and neither of them would eat that was a semi-red flag for me because my babies love to eat and will even twirl to let me know if I've taken to long to get a meal out. But then I figured maybe it's the excitement of being back with us. However, neither of them were super excited like they are normally when I pick them up from the private sitter when I do not take them with also another red flag. As I was preparing to get everything packed so we could check out I noticed when my teen was getting back in the carrier she had something on on rear end, when I took her out she was full of matted fecal matter that appeared to have been on her the entire stay at this hotel. I was livid as my fur babies are groomed every 2 weeks like clock work and they'd just had a grooming before going to this ratchet place. They did not have the decency to wash her ass before returning her back to me. The biggest mistake I made was going into cleaning mode before taking pictures, I did take pictures but it was after I stared getting the largest pieces of fecal matter off of her. This hotel should be shut down and everyone working there should NOT be allowed to work with animals. It is clear that those individuals DO NOT love and appreciate these gentle souls. I am attaching photos so that everyone can see the neglect that I teen fur baby had to endure. On the Christmas photo my entire family was wondering why her paws were so dirty and we were initially thinking it was from play and then realized it was fecal matter. If they come out in order the first photo is what my fur baby normally looks like in her natural environment, every photo after is from the ratchet hotel. Then to top it off both of my fur babies now have kennel cough this place is THEE ABSOLUTE WORST! If you truly love your fur babies you will steer clear of this particular facility, I can't speak on any others as this is the only one I have used and I WILL NEVER, EVER USE THEM AGAIN NOT EVEN TO BUY PRODUCTS. If she talks to us and treats us so condescending and disrespectful, I can only imagine how she treats our doggies when no one is around. Don't waste your time or money. Unfortunately Pawsitive Difference pet rescue doesn't have their own page so I have to leave my review here since they host events at this Petsmart location. I do not recommend supporting Pawsitive Difference. My girlfriend and I have fostered multiple times, and we recently found a dog we truly connected with -- one who seemed like the perfect fit for our family. Unfortunately, the way this agency handled our experience was incredibly upsetting and unprofessional. From the beginning, there were red flags. At our first visit, we were told by the owner that we couldn't take the dog out of the kennel into the play area -- yet just minutes later, another family (with a child) was allowed to do exactly that. The dog also wore a pink collar and had paperwork showing for his already-adopted sister. We were later told this was intentional to make him seem more appealing by presenting him as female. Still, we looked past all this and decided to foster him when that family chose not to adopt. During the foster period, everything clicked. Our typically shy dogs loved him, and he loved them. We became quickly attached and knew he was the one. The following day, we were told we had to bring him back to the next adoption event. When we arrived, we expressed we were certain to adopt him -- though we were surprised by the $650 fee. We were told this included neutering, vaccines, and PetSmart training. Since we already have a trusted vet and experience training our dogs, we politely asked if the fee could be adjusted. The owner was dismissive and rude, flatly saying no. Despite that, we stayed near his kennel, trying to make the numbers work. One staff member even snapped at us, saying, "No one else can see him if you're standing there," despite the fact that we were already fostering him and trying to finalize the adoption. Eventually, we decided we were all in -- we'd make it work, no matter what. I approached the adoption coordinator (Joel) and told him we were ready. He acknowledged that, as fosters, we had first choice, and informed a staff member named Cindy of our decision. Cindy abruptly contradicted him and loudly announced we couldn't adopt him because another family was now interested -- even though they hadn't started any paperwork. Her loud reaction caused their young daughter to cry, and the situation escalated unnecessarily. To make things worse, one staff member (I didn't get her name but she is in the photo attached) physically grabbed my girlfriend when she tried to gently apologize to the other family. We were shocked and heartbroken. We were told, in no uncertain terms, "You're not adopting him. They are." It felt like retaliation for simply asking if the adoption fee could be flexible -- as if that somehow disqualified us as potential adopters. We ultimately wish nothing but the best for the dog we grew to love, and truly hope the young girl who adopted him gives him the amazing life he deserves. This organization's behavior was deeply disappointing. They were unprofessional, combative, and seemed more interested in money than the well-being of their animals or the families willing to love them. read more

Our dog is a senior and we have been going to the Nellis Petsmart grooming for years but every once in a while my husband prefers Stephanie because of his shopping locations. About 2 years ago we dropped Max (our senior dog) for a grooming and he was absolutely terrified when we picked him up. He was shaking and wouldn't let us pet him. He's never like that after a grooming. So I reached out and spoke to the manager. We decided not to take a chance to go back to that one. But this week my husband just needed to run a couple errands in the area and max just needed a bathing so he thought it would be okay. This time, they told us Max isn't welcome back and that he pooped all over and maybe he needed a vet. He had his haircut a few months back at the Nellis location and they said he did okay just nervous. That's about what he does every visit. He's a nervous guy but not dangerous, just he gets shaky and whines. The lady who did his bath this time, didn't finish his service and was very short and rude with my husband. I complained to Petsmart and they did reach out to refund us for his services but we were not invited to come back. The leader also did not apologize to my concern that their stylists here are not compassionate or kind. Max only freaks out at this location, never the Nellis one. So we will be only staying there but wanted to warn other pet parents that this location isn't great for groomer and I do suspect they do not train their employees here to deal with special needs dogs. read more

We bought a male fish 10 days later it's having babies in our tank! They sold us a female pregnant fish that was in a male tank! Megan the manager has zero customer service skills when we called she said oh and we can return the fish we bought but not the babies! Literally didn't care! The thing is we weren't even calling to try to return them my husband just wanted to call to let them know what happened. I would give zero stars if I could . I bought a regal jumping spider for me and my autistic son and he wasn't cheap. ($40) and 4 days later my spider is dead. I did all the proper feedings and care and still after 4 days he passed. I Even did research. He never ever jumped the little time we had him. My whole family is upset. I adopted a mini schnauzer from the animal foundation just over 2 years ago and she came with a lot of trauma responses, from what seems like obvious abuse prior to me adopting her. After talking to a few groomers around this area, I entrusted a Petsmart groomer named Brandy and she's done such a great job with Elsa, that I've been taking her to see Brandy ever since. I was going along with the process that took about 2 hours, and throughout that time, I fell even more in love with the little baby. Just when I was about to adopt him fully after handing over my ID, they said they had already had someone that had processing adoption for him... They had about 2 hours to tell me the news and never once brought up the fact that someone else was interested in him DAYS BEFORE, AND HE WASN'T AVAILABLE. They had said every kitten was available. Not to mention, the ladies at the desk were very passive-aggressive throughout my whole experience, and I will NOT be going back to this PetSmart ever again or HAV!! I'm embarrassed to say how long it's been since my sweet pup Twiggy got a haircut. But it's Vegas, it's hot, and her shedding has become such a nightmare. It was time. I've been taking her to this Petsmart grooming spot since I first adopted her 6 or 7 years ago. I've truly never had a bad experience and today was no different. I booked the the appointment online yesterday and it was super easy to get her booked for 11 a.m. this morning with Josh. I got my confirmation via text and we were all set. It even let me know that they didn't have her current shot records and to make sure I brought it with me. I actually take her to Banfield in the same store, so when I arrived I just let them know and they called to confirm. Super easy! They have signs up right when you get there to let them know they are only taking one pup parent at time in the lobby, which I appreciated. Drop-off was super easy. I had to take her leash and collar with me, as they weren't taking it because of COVID. I had to put the leash they had clearly sanitized, too. They even went as far as to have all the pens sanitized, too, which I super appreciated when it came to sign the contract for her. Josh was the one who checked me in and even allowed me to upgrade for some nail grinding while I was talking to her, which I appreciated. It only took about an hour and a half and she was ready to be picked up. I felt so bad because he left me a voicemail to let me know she was ready, but sadly she had pooped in the bath (face palm moment, am I right?!) so he had to re-wash her but she was ready to be picked up now. I felt so bad I went and pulled out cash so I could tip him even more for the inconvenience of having to deal with my turd of a dog (no pun intended LOL). When I went to pick her up, my info was already at the register to check out. They brought her out right after I paid and she looked and smelled amazing!! Thank you, Petsmart Groomers & Josh, for making my fur baby look super cute and taking great care of her. Hopefully next time I don't go so long to get her groomed haha :) read more

I took my 7-month-old puppy here to the pet hotel today 6-19-2024 to get her in a class where the dogs all play together, and she can get some exposure and socializing. My puppy lives with 2 cats, and they all get along, she also plays with my neighbor's dogs and has a ball with them. The woman who checked us in was only interested in quoting the rules to me how I am liable in my dog bites anyone! Four times I heard about this rule! Shes a puppy she does bark, but this woman made me feel like I was a bad pet owner, and I did not want my puppy to stay in the class with this woman who was very gruff to me! The dog that checked in a head of me was also barking, but I guess I'm the bad one! It was also my puppy's first-time walking into the PetSmart store and she was a little nervous, but for the first time in the store she did very well! I'm retired and I live alone and after my dog of 13 years passed away this year, I got this adorable puppy! I thought this day care puppy class would be a good thing! DO NOT BOOK THE PET HOTEL!!!!! This place is horrible!!! They will mistreat your dog and injure him and not have the nerve for a manager to call you back with further details like they promised. I booked a hotel stay from 12/20 to 12/24 since our original pet hotel was booked, I had no other choice than to use this HORRIBLE place! And on the 2nd day I get a call from a associate that my dog was bleeding a lot and his nail came off and she finally got the bleeding to stop and they just wanted to let me know... I went to ask if she had an idea how it happened and she stated she didn't know that she just checked on him when he was bleeding but didn't see blood in the kennel. I then asked how was this possible if his nail was completely off it would have been in the kennel if it happened there or some type of blood trial, her voice made it seemed like she was panicking, I then asked what type of kennel was he in since with his size I was told TWICE he would be in a large kennel due to his size and weight "we have a large kennel booked for him" she stated he was in a smaller kennel not the large one due to them being a "fully booked due to the holiday" and that the large kennels can't always be promised. So I figure it seemed like his injury was due to NEGLIGENCE and the hotel being so money hungry fully over booking without the best interest in the animals. The associate then stated she was going to see if the vet "had time to see him and clean it and stuff". I demanded for him to see the vet and I needed to speak to a manager ASAP, she then stated she will have the manager call me. I was so worried out of town feeling so helpless so I called again and demanded do speak to a manager again they put me on hold then stated the hotel manager was gone until the best day and they will have her call me first thing in the morning with further information. I then asked to receive a picture of the kennel and one with him in it to see where he was put in and she said they couldn't do that but will ask, I asked for a copy of the incident report once it was completed and she stated she didn't know if one will be done... excuse me? How?!!! I then was transferred to Cindy which she pretended like she couldn't hear me and just clicked I called back again and asked for Cindy when they stated she was on the other line I demanded to speak to some type of manager and that's when I talked to Sylvia and she stated she was the store manager but will have the pet hotel manager call me tomorrow and they should review the camera footage and speak to who was watching him and she'll be calling me tomorrow.... This is the 2nd day and till this day I haven't received a call from any manager regarding my pet. I had my emergency contact pick him up that same day this happened and the vet stated I had to take him back on Tuesday, He was so traumatized from this place!!! Went to buy dog food, I had 5 cans of food to return because my dog didn't like the liver taste. They wouldn't allow me to replace the ones that my dog doesn't like w a new ones. Took my 6-month old teacup poodle in for his first haircut: a short puppy cut. When he got home, his face had been cut back, leaving a beard on only one side of his face (shaved back entirely on the other); Debbie trimmed his butt but, other than that, he looked exactly the same coming out as going in. When I mentioned my disappointment to Debbie, his groomer, her reply was that "we only TRIM puppies on the first cut, because they're not used to the noise," but she never mentioned it beforehand or until I complained. Her work was just awful, sloppy, very uneven on his face (about a D, D+ because of the butt trim), which it wouldn't have been had she done what we asked of her. If you go there, avoid Debbie getting ahold of your pet ... she turned our adorable little puppy's face into into an ugly, lopsided mess. Thank goodness our regular mobile groomer (Whitney's Paw-listed Pets) gets back from holiday soon. read more

Visited this Petsmart for Easter photos and while had to wait a in line was worth it. The store is set up as most Petsmart are, but this one has a classy and swank place to board that dog for a trip and even has playtime for puppies bring kept. The store was very clean and super busy, people really love their pets so for the traffic of customers the store should of had more employees. Even while waiting in line various customers were complaining of the wait time. Their prices are a little high but its for our pets. And we love them by showering them with expensive treats and swag. read more

Every time I bring my dog for grooming, he comes back so handsome and clean. Celina always does an amazing job for my Pomeranian! I'll just sit there smelling him because he comes back smelling so nice. From check in to check out, the process is easy and smooth. You pay online when services are over, so it's quick for check out. Celina gave us a little paw-gress report and went over how my pup did during services. We opted for the CHI treatment on top of the bath/cut, and his coat came back so soft and smooth. If you have a double coated pup, definitely consider the CHI add on. It ups the price of service a bit, but I'll do anything for my little guy. All in all, you can't go wrong with Celina! Great services all around and she's so friendly and approachable. DO NOT BOARD YOUR BELOVED PET HERE! The staff allows dog attacks to happen and then not tell owners of the extent of the injuries including stitches, punctures, stints, and trauma. Terrible service today. We brought our puppy for his second grooming at this location, he was scheduled for an appointment with the same lady, Hailey. What they failed to inform us on was that Hailey is no longer working there and they took it upon themselves to change our groomer themselves to some guy named Nester G. This man mistreated our dog and had the audacity to say it was all our dog's fault claiming he was impossible to work with which is impossible considering Hailey told us he was an "angel" to work with. This man was clearly ignorant which was apparent when we tried to tell him that it couldn't be our dog's fault and that we were misled thinking we were leaving our dog with Hailey since that is who we left our appointment with. He did not let us speak full sentences, he kept interrupting and cutting us off every time we tried to say something and continued to blame our puppy for his unprofessional approach with our pup's grooming today not to mention he had a nasty attitude the entire time. Then to make things even worse he tried to charge us before giving us our dog first. When he finally gave our puppy back our poor dog was trembling vigorously which mind you, he did not have that same reaction the first time, he was perfectly okay when he was groomed by Hailey and he was happy to see us. I don't know what that Nester G. man did to our dog but he left our dog scared shitless. And to top it off Nester G. did not complete the full package service we asked for and only bathed and brushed him but failed to reflect that on the price we were getting charged. He claimed he was only going to charge us for what he did but when we went to the cashier we noticed that the price was extremely high for a simple bathe and brush that we could do ourselves in 20 minutes. If we hadn't caught that in time we would've been charged more than double of what we should've paid. We will never bring our dog back here again and that Nester G. should get fired. read more

Let's just say WOW service !!! Thank you Stephanie for helping me and my son figure out more information on robo dwarf hamsters. My son wanted an additional pet to add into his hammy cage and we figured why not call first . Stephanie was amazing she gave us knowledge that we didn't know and also just provided us with a lot of information I appreciate her being so helpful since we are so new to this BUT our second little hamster . Went to PetSmart today to look at puppies, staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us look at a miniature Aussie. The dog was so cute and he warmed up really fast to us. They helped us with the application process which was easy and fast. We were approved and she even helped us with deciding what was best for our new family member. I definitely recommend PetSmart 10/10. Overall Arielle was such a kind warming employee. She made this experience great for us. read more

Just had my little pocket blue-nose Pitty, Xyia, stay 4 nights at the Stephanie Street PetSmart location. Great service and the morning manager there today, I believe her name was Vanessa? I'm not for certain, bad with names. She was the most helpful and took personal time out to show me different items and I exchanged my experience with Xyia as her being a power-chewer and going through toys in seconds at times. Gave her my personal top recommended toys they have and she appreciated the feedback to further her amazing assistance with extra specificity to the niche of power chewers, like Xyia. Overall great service! Only suggestion, make the phone lines a bit easier to get to the specific hotel or have a direct line, I had to go through 4 different wait times to get to the right extension. Only thing to improve in my opinion. Otherwise, I will be back to the location when needed for my travels most definitely! read more
