Manager's name is Sandy. Today was the last time I'll shop at this PetSmart location. I came in to buy a heat lamp dome fixture and superworms for my bearded dragon because his heat lamp went out. The only fixture they had in stock had a damaged box with a large dent and a visible tear like it was stepped on, so I asked if a discount could be offered. Instead of simply saying no, Sandy argued with me, took the fixture out of the box, and kept insisting the product wasn't damaged. My concern was the damaged packaging, not the fixture itself. She told me to take it home, try it, and come back for a refund if it didn't work, which was not a reasonable solution since it was the only one in stock and my bearded dragon needed a working heat lamp. I then asked if I could receive a discount on the superworms because I've bought them before and they have consistently contained fewer than the advertised 50 worms. Sandy responded by saying she would open the container and count every worm herself. I found that response completely unprofessional. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was simply requesting a courtesy discount on a damaged package and bringing up a recurring issue with the superworms. Instead, I was met with an argument over both issues. When I got home, I counted the superworms, and there were only 41 instead of the advertised 50. I have video proof of me opening the package but its too long to post on here. I've already filed a complaint with PetSmart corporate and the Better Business Bureau, but I also wanted to document my experience here. Also, I've bought a bag of dog food once and it was infested. Unprofessional and hostile customer service I came in to pick up a paid order and was met with unnecessary hostility from an employee named Jaqui. What should have been a simple pickup turned into a needlessly complicated and uncomfortable interaction. Despite providing my full legal name, the order number, and the matching items clearly displayed on her device, she continued to press me for additional personal information (including my middle and maiden name) in an aggressive manner that felt excessive and inappropriate given the circumstances. When I calmly expressed discomfort and mentioned contacting corporate due to how the situation was being handled, her response was dismissive and confrontational, saying, "Go and tell them--what are they going to do about it?" This interaction was unprofessional, hostile, and completely avoidable. I expect basic courtesy and professionalism when picking up an order, not to be treated as though I'm doing something wrong. I brought my Russian Blue, Yoda Monkey, to get a Dino cut and he looked amazing afterwards! I tried to get my girl in for a groom, but they don't work on pets with health conditions for safety reasons, and she has a heart murmur. They took $20 off his first groom. All of the groomers were very sweet and professional. They ask about health conditions and make sure that your pet is fully vaccinated before working on them. I liked that I can take my precious guy to get groomed and feel safe knowing that he won't get a transferable disease. Amy was his groomer and she was very sweet. She answered all of my questions about him with enthusiasm. She loved working with him and looks forward to working with him in the future. I prefer his front and back legs to be shaved as well as a little more fur shaved on the torso and side areas, as previous groomers have no problem doing this, but I will make sure to request that next time. I showed her pictures of the original cut (as pictured below), and she did a really good job for her first time. He is rocking the thigh-high look. My sweet Dino boi looks SO cute, and he is always strutting and showing that he feels great after his spa day. Thank you so much Amy and grooming team! I literally just went to go buy a pleco as someone who's been keeping fish for over 20 years and a sales person at this location basically argued with me to not sell me a fish because of the size of my tank assuming that it would stunt the growth of a fish as it can potentially grow bigger. I have had these fish in smaller tanks prior to, and they have always been comfortable and if I see a fish is out growing its tank I put it in a larger one. I not only wasted 20 minutes waiting for assistance but was talked to like an idiot, just because a fish can grow up to 20 inches does not mean it will just like the average height of a human does not mean that person will be that tall. My mom and I have been customers of PetSmart for many years and haven't had a bad experience until today. We have two small dogs we take monthly for baths and grooming. Today, Christina, refused to wash/groom both of our dogs because they were matted in some areas which is understandable. What is not understandable is her rude and u professional behavior she showed my elderly parents today. She not only left one of our dogs laying on her own feces BUT she also was a bitch to both of my parents which was uncalled for. My mom is 81 years old and very sweet, Christina's bad attitude and lack of professionalism prompted this review which will be on all platforms. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES HERE! Dr Huddleston along with amazing vet techs Abby, Kara, and Alyssa are SO SWEET and full of compassion. We adopted Bentley and Goldie when my husband's grandfather passed away on Valentine's Day. Both dogs NEVER had routine care. We found out Goldie had kidney failure. Sadly, we decided it was in his best interest to put him down. When I say these people went out of their way to give us much needed TLC while we were grieving would be a complete understatement. We had his full staff by our side as if we were family. Bentley on the other hand, he's a pup in an old man's body lol, however....poor papa has a skin condition. Bentley is the healthiest he has ever been thanks to Dr Huddleston and his team!!! These pictures don't speak volumes to how much his coat has improved and he doesn't itch anymore! They are the whole package: comprehensive, compassionate, and reasonable. As a cash pay dog mom who works in healthcare, he's very reasonable. Even then, my biggest rave regarding them is how kind they all are, lol we usually stick around just to talk to them. Dr Huddleston never rushes us or makes us feel like an inconvenience. It's like visiting friends. Thank you so much for all the love and care we have received in the last almost five months! We went here two weekends in a row because we bought a hermit crab (striking red color with a big claw) but a few days later, things didn't go so well. We "returned" it for a refund (it's either seven days or ten days), so we, instead, of getting another one, got a bag of calcium sand for the remaining one (in October, it'll be two years that our son has had him). Our crab was very happy with his new "environment." We also got oatmeal shampoo for our dog since she has dandruff. The store matches prices with Chewy.com (you do have to pull it up on your cell phone). I was also checking out the teeth-brushing treats, see my pics. There is a wide range of products for many different sorts of pets. I've been shopping at this store for a long time, maybe four dogs back. I'm a longtime dog owner, for most of my life. Lots of other services for dogs at these stores, like: grooming and obedience training. Also, sometimes, there are adoption rescues. Our son always looks at the lizards, but it's just for his amusement (we'll call this window shopping). We have enough pets. Our son also has a fish at his grandparents' house (set one). The clerks were all helpful, nice, and willing to assist. The store is clean. Some customers have their dogs with them. Some customers are clueless that we are in a pandemic, and avoid the floor stickers (blue circles) to mark six feet of separation (yes, there were some people directly behind us in line). I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at PetSmart Grooming today, specifically with the groomer Shayris. I brought in my Shih Tzu for a simple bath after her stay at a boarding facility, where she got a little dirty. Her last full bath, groom, and brush was on Monday, and she was at dog boarding from Tuesday through Thursday. She got dirty while playing with other dogs, which is why I just wanted her to get a bath today. My dog has a poodle-style cut, where her paws, tail, and face are fluffy, but the rest of her hair is very short. Shayris seemed to be deliberately looking for an excuse not to take my dog. She kept running a comb through different areas of my dog's fur, trying to find a spot where the comb wouldn't go through perfectly, just to justify refusing service. She told me my dog needed a haircut and that, per policy, they couldn't take her for a bath. I find this unacceptable, as my dog does not have long or unmanageable hair--it was clear she just didn't want to take my dog, possibly because I was her last appointment of the day. This experience was extremely upsetting and a complete waste of my time. If I had known I'd be refused service for such an unreasonable reason, I would have bathed her myself at home. I've been a loyal customer and have never encountered such an issue with other groomers here. It's very disappointing and unprofessional to be treated this way. read more

Bad service !!!!!!!!!!!! Took my dog in for a grooming service (Bath and wash) picked him up and he smelt like he'd never been washed. I called them back to explain how bad he smelt and his paws were still dirty. I spoke with Sandy, she offered me to come in next day for the same service "free of charge". I took him in the next day picked him up. As I'm waiting for my dog to be released I don't know if it was sandy or Christina but she was so rude to me and made it seem like it was my fault my dog looked as thought he hadn't been serviced. After she was the one that offered me to come in. She kept making non stop smart ride comments. I really hope she sees this or a higher up of hers sees this! My dog loves this location! He is super skittish so I have requested the same sweet groomer Leah each time and they have a nice bond now :) He always comes out smelling amazing and so soft, and he isn't protective of his paws so I know he isn't getting hurt at all. He bounces around with extra lightness and feels better after a grooming, and always looks great. He used to tremble in the store, but everyone is so kind that he just shows excitement now! Giving 4 stars but would love to give 5 stars. I brought my pup to get his grooming done here. I've gone to Petsmart before just a different location. This one is BY MY HOUSE. I was happy to find a groomer I really liked and I felt like Petsmart was it. The experience was great, the groomer Erandi was so nice and patient with my crazy lil boy Ollie. She did amazing, literally amazing. Ollie doesn't like the brush at all so he will try to throw his little paws when he gets brushed. Again Erandi did amazing! But I'm giving 4 stars because I went to the cashier in store to purchase some new treats and to pay my grooming service for Ollie for being a good boy. BUT the cashier was so rude. I checked in on Yelp and saw a discount for checking in and what'd to use it. The lady cashier, she was older and had some dark eyeshadow on, she gave me such a hard time! Overall she was sooo rude. I came back to get cash back bc the groomer let me know I could possibly get cash back at the cash register so I did just that. That's when I knew I needed to make a purchase, and I simply asked this cashier lady and again she was giving me a hard time. First I wanted to avoid going back to that cashier but she was the only one available. The way she spoke to me was unnecessary so I literally made my purchase and walked out. I've always had very pleasant experiences at this PetSmart location. Since my cat is older (my little old lady turned 17 this year!), I had to start buying more expensive food for her, as her tummy has gotten sensitive. PetSmart usually has what I'm seeking, and while their prices are more than I'd prefer to pay, I don't consider them unreasonable. The store is always clean and well stocked, and the employees are friendly. I also have used their grooming service for my kitty, which I thought was very fairly priced and less expensive than what my vet was charging. They also have a pretty good rewards program, which is also nice. If you need something for your pets, be smart and go to PetSmart. Karly with half blonde, half black hair "groomed" our dogs. We had always groomed with the other Karlie. That error was ours. OMG. This woman had the angriest personality. You could tell she didn't want to be there. She did ok on 3 of our dogs. OUR Karlie was very familiar with our 16 year old blind yorkie, Yitzee. They got along great! However, this other Karly took 4 hours, didn't even cut her hair, didn't clean up the hair on face, especially under the eyes, didn't bathe her. I arrived to pick her up, they tried to drag her out on a blue leash. She's 3 lbs!!! Other Karly said Yitzee belonged at a vet groomer. She charged me $56 thinking everything was great. I got home. Yitzee could barely walk. She was exhausted. I called back. I asked if Yitzee fell off the table. Complete SILENCE and "our store leader will call you tomorrow." NEVER HAPPENED! I like Petsmart because they are a little cheaper than Petco. They also have a much better and larger selection of products. The only problem is that my dog has food allergies and eats Natural Balance food, which they do not sell here. Therefore, I have to shop at Petco more often. However, I still come here to buy other things, such as cat food, treats, toys, and whatever else I can possibly spoil my babies with! This store is always clean and stocked well. Customer service is always a hit or miss. There are days where 3 different employees will greet me and ask if I need help. Other days, I will see a bunch of employees hanging out and talking story in the front of the store by the registers. I also noticed that the cashiers here do not ask for your PetPerks card, which gets kind of annoying when you are buying products that are on sale. At Petco, they always ask for my card, whether or not I am buying something on sale, or regardless of if I am buying one or ten items. I am still hoping that one day they will start selling Natural Balance products at better prices! read more

My dog and I have been a customer of this Pet Smart for a long time. Today I went on line and ordered some things for delivery. I was given some options for time and date, so,I picked Oct. 14th from 6-8 pm At 8:10 pm when nothing arrived I called the store. They told me I had to call the delivery service, Door Dash. I called Door Dash and they told me that PetSmart disabled the Door Dash order -- and I had to call PetSmart. I called PetSmart back and the young lady who answered the phone told me she was just a cashier -- she couldn't help me, I had to call corporate. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. Still, I had to call corporate, they didn't disable Door Dash, corporate did. So I asked this manager her name and she said Diana. She gave me the number of corporate. I hung up and called corporate. While I was on the phone, Diana calls me back to say that she does t know what else can be said to tell me it wasn't her fault. I told her if that was all she had to say, there was no point in calling me back. I hung up and called corporate again. Shocking no one at all, they are closed. This was really a stunner. I've always had excellent customer service at every PetSmart I've ever patronized. Diana was really a disgrace and a poor representative. My fiancé was watching my dog while I was out of town helping develop a 100% safe COVID vaccine when she called in to this location for a normal nail trim. My dog (Mr. Bubbles, Ph.D) loves pedicures and panted in a braindead haze when she told him it was spa time. After calling in, an employee told her it was walk-ins only. Upon arrival at the store, they also told her walk-ins only. HOWEVA, when trying to actually get the trim she was told appointment only. My beautiful fiancé and my dog cried and howled for at least 1 minute because that's all that Instagram allows in a DM. Now I can't focus on perfecting this vaccine for the world and my dog is walking around Vegas like Edwards Scissorhands. 2 stars because they were wearing masks and sell food... I guess. read more

Particularly the bitch who threw an attitude over my dog wearing a muzzle who proceeded to put a note into my account stating my dog behaved aggressively (WHEN HE DISPLAYED NO AGGRESSION WHATSOEVER) and said we need to visit vets offices for his future grooming appointments. I've been bringing my dog to VARIOUS PetSmarts for the past THREE YEARS for his grooming appointment muzzle and all. I travel all around the U.S every 4-6 weeks and am never in the same state. This is the ONLY PetSmart I've ever visited where it's "policy" that dogs cannot have muzzles when they show up for an appointment. This is also the only PetSmart I've been spoken to in a condescending, unempathetic manner. I left this PetSmart so irritated. She was extremely unhelpful, didn't even see if there was a different location I could take my fur baby to, didn't apologize for the inconvenience not a damn thing. Just a full fledged attitude and unwillingness to help. Thankfully I had been in Vegas about a month and a half ago and took Teddy to the PetSmart on Hualapai and Charleston and they were MORE THAN HAPPY to accommodate us and booked him an appointment immediately. Take your business up the street to Charleston and Hualapai. They are much friendlier and quicker to be helpful than these lot. read more
