Perhaps consider firing the Hiring Manager for hiring staff with zero inclination of Customer Service and/or fire the Training Coordinator who seems incapable of training staff on the simple art of packing a box. Petsmart on 9869 south eastern The store was a good store - clean and everything and the cages for the animals were clean & the animals were healthy. My husband and I were looking for a Syrian hamster and we asked to see the hamsters and she told us that we weren't allowed to interact with the animals and that it was store policy. We were allowed to purchase one if we liked the way they looked. I know that everyone is different - but I need to interact with the animal that is going to be a part of my family for the whole of it's life. It just struck me as a terrible store policy. The customer service was not to my liking - not because of the person who helped us, but because of the store's policy. I think customers should be asked to use hand sanitizer and be supervised the whole time - that's normal for a pet store. Who can find the right pet just by looking at it? I don't know, but I'm just not that person. I can't recommend this store - at least not for finding your forever family member. read more

Adopted a dog yesterday from the event, which was a great experience! However, we were given a coupon book and a email after the adoption was finalized with some special deals. One of the deals received in the email coupon was a free small bag of food- for some reason, the store manager wouldn't honor the coupon because he says that it was an " expired " deal. Even though it was emailed to me 2 hours prior from the event. Mind you, the event was held at PETSMART. Makes no sense. He wasn't kind about trying to solve the issue and didn't even try to make an accommodation. Yet, they're still sending these out to all new adopted pet owners? make it make sense. read more

We got our husky groomed and our caretaker Sam was the bomb! My husky is high energy and can be a menace but same came out met her loved her and had her on her best behavior. The grooming is the best she's ever had. She looked out together smelled good and had a shine. All you husky owners I'm on day 2 of no shedding. 10/10 Sam is the only one that's going to groom my puppy. read more

I went Sunday to look for a dog gate. The back wall where the gates are was completely blocked in by pallets, open box's and other merchandise. There was no way I could even get to the gates to look at prices and find what I needed. Needless to say I left and ordered from another competitor. Clean up your act! I had made an appointment online for my two dogs for grooming. The mobile site was super glitchy, and long story short, the day I selected was not the day that was in the system. So I came in today, technically on the wrong day, and was told this after I waited at least 20 min to get in to check in (it was very busy and my dogs are reactive, not their fault, just painting the scene lol). Obviously I was super peeved by the mobile site mishap, but Nat was able to get me in. It was such a relief, especially because getting two reactive dogs to an appt is overwhelming in itself. In the past, the groomers have always just mentioned at the end of the appt that they couldn't cut one of my dog's nails because he would start to bite. Nat actually explained his mannerisms leading up to it and gave me a lot better insight (because he doesn't do it at home with me so it's hard to imagine). I really appreciated that. The whole staff is also always super nice when I come in with them. But had to give Nat a special shoutout for today! Thank you! read more

It was a huge mistake I took my baby to get grooming at Petsmart. He's a 2 year golden doodle. It's been 5 days my baby is suffering. I had to take to vet because he got irritation on his penis and balls. He's been scratching and licking them all day and he was shaking. He got stressed out and lose 4 lbs! Now, he's in medication and wearing the collar cone for 2 weeks. I feel so bad for my baby. This is Awful. If I could rate 0 star I would! I dont recommend the groomer service :(( read more

I took my 15lb dog there to be groomer. After four hours, I didn't receive a call, so I did their job for them and called. I was told my dog was not ready. So, I called after the five hour mark (yet again, doing their job.) I was told she was not ready. I called after six whole hours of her being there, and I was told "oh, she's been done." The competency is not there. The care is not there. The responsibility of caring for LIVING THINGS is not there. Such a disgusting place. They seem to only hire people who do not care about living things. read more

We did the puppy training class here with Chloee G and she was awesome! Darwin was excited every time he saw her and she was very patient with the pups and with us. There were only 3 dogs in the class, and 1 of them was the litter mate of my puppy so it was a cool group. Our class time was 6pm on Fridays and the store was never super busy with other dogs so we were able to go out into the aisles and practice things. I definitely recommend booking a class with Chloee and we will definitely be moving on to intermediate with her! read more

She starts out the class by asking how your week went with what she taught and makes sure she addresses all your concerns!! Today I was exhausted from work but needed to buy food for the boys. I checked online to have it shipped but then saw the "curbside pick up". I download the Petsmart app, placed the order and it was ready within 45 minutes or so. I drive there, parked at curbside and let them know I was there. No good for grooming. Its a mill, its a mess. The check in desk, isn't too helpful, they rely on the groomers direction and seemingly have no control of scheduling. My dog has hair less than 3 inches long, and they said his hair was over three inches just eye balling him, upped the price on me, I even pulled his hair slightly to see his length and I was confused how they gauged 3 inches. The customer service lacks overall, if you cant be nice to me you sure wont be nice to my adorable doodle pup. I simply do not recommend this for anyone, especially a doodle. read more

The Petsmart location was super clean. The team members were super friendly. Several of them asked if I needed any help or assistance. The inventory is well stocked! We had called a head of time and spoke to Jeremy to see if this location carried Hermit Crabs, he said yes. We made the drive there, got in loaded up the cart with our new supplies, filled out the paperwork for the carbs to only open the tank with the sales associate to find out they were all empty shells. Ummm did nobody check when we called! Overall store was clean and didn't smell too much like "pet", a lot of the supplies are sold on Amazon for half the price which I will keep in mind when I need more supplies. read more

I was in this area running errands and had to stop by PetSmart for more cat food. Normally I'm a Petco and/or Chewy customer, but I had used the last bag of cat food that I had that morning and I was in the same strip mall as PetSmart. They were holding a cat adoption event at the time of my visit. I have two cats at home (fostered from NSPCA and later adopted) and just had to go out of my way to go see them. The lady there explained to me that she was the foster mother of three litter mate 14 week old kittens that were there. They (and the rest of the kittens waiting to be adopted) were sooo cute! I don't think my cats would be too happy if I added another one into the bunch, lol. Anyway, back to the store. This particular PetSmart is clean and has a large selection of toys and treats for both cats and dogs. The cat food on the other hand was fairly easy to find. I picked up a Blue Diamond brand pack of dry cat food and headed my way to checkout. There were four checkout stands but only two were open. Despite this, the line was moving quickly. The cashier that rang up my cat food was friendly and convenient. PetSmart helped me find my cat food needs. If I'm in need of cat food when I'm nowhere near a Petco, then PetSmart will be my backup store going forward. read more

Shout out to trainer Ashleigh at this location! She's been awesome! I was hesitant to use Petsmart for training classes but I saw other reviews and we have not been let down. We are only a few weeks into the class but already see so much improvement. The training is really for us humans, right?! Ashleigh makes the class a lot of fun. Saturday mornings are a tough time for a class in the middle of a busy pet store (that also has dogs barking inside for pet adoptions) but she makes sure we get the most out of each week regardless. She's got a great attitude and sense of humor and she's also extremely knowledgable. She does a great job of addressing individual concerns while still keeping the class moving along. We already probably want to sign up for the next level with her after this. Girl deserves a raise! read more

Facilities is dirty and doesn't own up to their mistake. Dogs got sick after a visit claims their place isn't dirty, but the inside of PetSmart could be makes zero sense then try to twist. I had brought my fur baby, Mack Mobbin in for his first spa day at this location back in October. His appointment was scheduled for 8am, but because I was headed to the gym they let me drop him off around 7:30. I met with his groomer, Jordyn and first impression, she seems nice, knowledgeable and she seemed like she understood how and what type of haircut I was requesting for Mack. I'm not one of those obsessive dog owners that has a lot of requests but there are some requests that I had like the length cut and his toe nails to be shaved down. She reiterated to me my requests and I felt comfortable leaving Mack in Jordyn's hands for the 2 hours time frame Jordyn provided me. 4 hours later... I don't receive a call so I go to Petsmart. I see Jordyn outside on her cellphone, and I ask her if Mack's service was complete. She said that he's been done for over an hour. I looked at her and asked her why didn't she call me to inform me, she said - she did. This annoyed me because I did not receive a call from her, but whatevs moving on. She brings Mack out and although there was a change in length from what she had trimmed, there were uneven parts like on areas she missed. I didn't notice until we came home but he has some uneven parts to his nails too. I'm not sure why he would have uneven areas, because mack LOVES his spa days; he loves getting his hair blow dried, etc. The only reason I can thick of is because Jordyn rushed her work. Either way, I don't think Mack will be returning to Jordyn for any future services. For the service amount of almost $75 (plus tip), I should be able to get the kind of service I explain to you before my dog goes back for his services. read more

For 10 plus years, between 2 Dogs and countless Tropical fish and their supplies, I've gone to the PetSmart on Rainbow (Best of the West Shopping Center) and gotten pretty good service. Unfortunately, in the area of Customer service, they have been going downhill in the past year or so... Today, I showed up there for my dog's grooming and nail trim and we were told that our appointment was for yesterday. Again, for over 10 years, we've made our appt's, and not had issue. (Sidney?) the girl who made the appointment literally read back to my wife that the appointment was for MONDAY. She was not there when we arrived. To add insult to injury, the woman who was grooming and came to the counter to check us in, couldn't have been more condescending with her flippant attitude... almost mocking my wife. Intolerable. If I was her manager, I'd have fired her on the spot for talking to a customer this way. I asked to speak to a manager and he at least apologized for the mix up... something the groomer didn't do... but didn't offer anything to us in return for making the trip... Hell, $5.00 off our next visit would have been nice, something, anything... but no. Nada. So, for after 10+ years of shopping, spending and referring friends and family to Petsmart at 2140 Rainbow, I will be looking elsewhere for pet supplies. I'm retired from the Sales industry. I've had at times, over 75 salespeople working for me... The one thing I used to stress while training these individuals was that you SMILE... you EMPATHIZE... and APOLIGIZE if you cannot help. It's up to a Companies front line workers to present a view of how that company feels about it's customers. Today, the view I got is that PetSmart no longer wants me as a Customer. read more

This Petsmart I frequent with my puppy for all of her needs. They have great selection of toys for the big grown puppy that needs to be played out and then great treats when good. The dog food she likes they carry and it is grain free and a decent price. And while you shop for your puppy and let her explore the store the Banfield Hospital will help make sure your puppy is healthy and has all of her shots. Finally if needed the grooming service is open too with a view. For all of those people whom needs dogs this is the place to visit too. And the customer service is dead on accurate to meet all ones needs plus they are honest and not fake. read more
