Noticed a 2-3" dent on the front-center of my roof panel of my brand new 2018 Ford Edge (not even 2 days after I drove it off the dealership lot). The moment I noticed it, I immediately started inquiring about PDR repairs. I've used PDR in the past with other vendors, so this was not my first rodeo. Many of those that responded back to me offered a significantly cheaper price, but they also mentioned if they cannot fix it that they won't charge me. That was a red flag (as with my past experiences, none of them made the dent look completely gone). When Jay responded back, first off his customer service is top notch. Most will want you to send pictures via text messaging, and Jay was very detailed in his responses. His quote was more than fair, and my gut was telling me to go with him over the others. There's also that added convenience of him going to you (vs. you dropping it off at a shop). I work a regular 8-5 job Monday through Friday. When Jay showed up this morning, his professionalism continued (explaining the overall procedure as well as setting appropriate time expectations). He completed on-time, and when I went out, I could not tell where the dent was! He promised 97-99%, but in my opinion it looks 100% excellent! He used a gluing technique which relieved me (as I was expecting a hole to be drilled). Hands down I'll be using Jay again if I ever need any more PDR work! My car was hit in a parking lot on the rear corner panel. Hit and run. The dent and scrap was low and long. My usual dent guy said he couldn't repair because the car is aluminum with a double wall. I took it to the dealer. Their dent guy said he couldn't do it. He suggested that I would need to replace the panel. The service writer recommended I give Jay a call. He got right back to me. Jay is the man! I contacted several local paintless repair services to get a quote to fix a small door ding on my brand new Challenger. Jay was the quickest to respond to all my emails, and was the most straightforward and courteous. Other places told me that they would undoubtedly need to drill a hole in my brand new Challenger to fix the dent but Jay was the only one that said he could do it without any drilling so that's why I went with him. Called Jay to inspect a dent on the side of my Kawi Vulcan gas tank. Very accomodating and willing to meet around my schedule. Although the dent couldn't be repaired using a PDR technique (lack of access and points of leverage), Jay went a step further and snapped some pics of the tank and sent them to a body shop that was able to restore the tank at a competitive price. He said he would send them to the shop and get back to me with a few options. Sure enough ... very next day, I had an email from Jay with a quote, contact info and how long it would take to fix .. basically, did all the leg work aside from bringing the bike to the shop. Jay is very professional and accomodating. I sent him pictures of the dents on my car this morning and not even after 5 minutes he called me right away to describe the damages on my car to him and he gave me a quote on how much the job will cost me. He said he'll come by in the afternoon at my house to see the dents personally and see what he can do about it. He told me that he'll call after his morning appointment is done and before he comes to my house. True to his words he kept me posted on his whereabouts. When he came he checked the dents on my car right away. I got 4 small and fairly noticeable dents on my car, unfortunately the 2 dents on the rear compartment door of my honda crv can't be fixed because the material on where the damage is a plastic. The other 2 was on either side of the rear fenders. The dent on the left side is on a difficult location and the impact point is sharp, he explained to me 2 options on how it can be fixed. It's either try to pull it out with the glue or drill a hole for access so it can be massaged from the inside. He tried pulling the dent out at first with the glue but because of the hard location he can't get it out completely. I could say it was fixed 50% better. I decided not to proceed with the other option. He said that since the damage was not completely fixed, he wont charge me for it. I was like, "what?!" in my head. Lastly, the dent on the right rear fender was gone and that's the one im only going to be charged for. What a great guy he is and you could see his passion for his craft. He even checked and quoted the dents on my friend's car for free. I told him that i have some rock chips on my windshield and asked him if he knew a person who could help me with it. Jay said he can recommend someone and told me to just call him whenever i want/need to get it done and he'll call the person for me. I was clumsy one morning and accidentally knocked over my bike and into my driver's door. I picked up my bike and found a horrible quarter sized dent.
