It amazes me to this day how a business owner can advertise that they are a family owned company,…read moreand show off all their trophies and plaques in their store regarding customer service, but then turn around and treat me and my family the way they did. 52 days ago I paid upfront for Designed Glass to order me a replacement double pane window for my daughters bedroom which had cracked over the winter. Due my homes distance from their company, we pre-arranged that when the glass comes in I will bring in the window frame with the cracked glass. They will then install the new glass (their guy who measured the window told me they could do this the same day as drop off). I could then pick the window up later that same day and bring it to the tinting company before bringing it home. Throughout the next 6 weeks I consistently checked in on the status of the window. I would get emails back from Sarah apologizing for the delay and that it is out of their hands this is their suppliers problem. Finally at the end of Feb I received an email stating it was finally in. On Wednesday Feb 26th I called ahead and spoke with Rachel telling her I will be on my way to drop the window frame off. When I arrived, Rachel told me she spoke to the guys in the back and they will not be able to install the pane until tomorrow or possibly in 2 days, but assured me it would be done by the weekend, and would try her best to have them get it done ASAP. Fri came and I called asking for the status of the window, Sarah told me it was not done, but she would call me if they can complete it by 2pm that day. I explained my concern, and what Rachel told me 2 days prior, but all she could do was say sorry. Fri afternoon came, and no call from Sarah. I received an email from Sarah later that day claiming my window should be done by Monday now, but unfortunately I was on shift at work Mon and could not pick up the window till Tues. Tues morning, I arrived in the morning and Sarah told me I would have to come back in 1hr due to the window was on the other side of the shop area, and no one was available to go get it. At this point I asked Sarah to have a supervisor or Owner call me regarding the promises that were made to me and my overall experience with their service. 3hrs later I called due to no one calling me back. I was told by Sarah the owner has been brought up to speed with my experience and the owner is now there, so I decided to drive back in to get my window and speak to the owner. While on the phone with Sarah, she agreed with me when I asked how does a person in my shoes not give a poor review based on what my experience has been with Designed glass? The owner, Courtney finally came out to the showroom after I arrived and asked me "is there a problem?" (acting like she knows nothing about my order). I asked her what she knows of my order, and she said "nothing". I was confused and said "Sarah told me over the phone an hour ago that you were explained my situation and were brought up to speed on what all the issues we went through. She then said, "oh yes, but I have not sat down and processed or looked into any of these delays". She then said to me "what do you want from us, your window is right here ready for you". I realized then that Courtney was not out to provide quality customer service or even try to make the customer satisfied. She showed no compassion during our conversation and never acknowledged her company or employees underdelivered their promises. This could all have been avoided if they had told us the truth. If they were not able to perform the service on the timeline that they promised, then we would not have taken our window off our daughter's bedroom in the middle of February to bring in if we knew it would have taken this long to put the glass in at their shop. The communication and customer service was an awful experience, especially once they had our product in the shop.

We replaced this year existing carpet vinyl with new carpet and luxury vinyl plank, and we can…read morewholeheartedly recommend Bloomington Carpet One (BCO)! Josh was our salesperson, and was tireless, knowledgeable, and patient in working out different options and educating us about the pros and cons. We did some comparison shopping. BCO's good pricing, their responsiveness and promptness, and them doing their own work (not subcontracting) were compelling, so we went with them. After we ordered the work, BCO was able to put the job on schedule within days. The BCO installers accidentally installed the vinyl plank in the wrong area. This error also led to some other issues. When BCO realized this, it immediately acknowledged its error and responsibility, and worked to correct as soon as it could. The BCO installers were back the next day to start addressing the issues, and Eric and another employee even visited the job after their workdays, just to evaluate and determine solutions. Matt (general manager) got involved at the end to make sure that we were satisfied with the resolution. (We were!) However careful a company is, some type of error will happen sometime to that company - that's a fact of life. How the company - and the people at the company - respond sets the great ones apart. And Bloomington Carpet One, through its actions and the actions of its employees, clearly distinguishes itself as a great company!

The in home consult and measurements were done the same day we called them, and carpet was installed a few days later. Also - the pricing beat a quote we had from empire for a similar product by a few hundred dollars. Highly recommend.
