My laptop bit the dust a couple weeks back. And hard. The screen was shattered. It was a relatively new laptop, so I talked to HP, and they quoted me $275 for a repair. Did some hunting, found JT Solutions, and was pleased by the number of positive reviews. Called, immediately gave me a price and an appointment time for the next day. Jimmy was very friendly, was able to quote me a much better price (160!), and got the repair done in less than a week (he said that the only reason it took that long was transit time, while the replacement screen shipped). This review is long overdue. Something happened to my computer right before Christmas...my registry got messed up and every time I turned on my computer it would log me in as a temporary user, which meant I didn't have access to my documents, programs, pictures, etc. They were not deleted, just not easily accessible. I called JT and he knew exactly what I was talking about and told me he could easily fix the issue. I went in when he said he was available (and even had my 3 year old daughter with me). He was very nice, knowledgeable, and fixed my computer within 20 minutes. I felt that he was honest and knew exactly what he was doing. After I water-damaged my MacBookPro, I originally took it to the Apple Store, and they told me the damage was to the logic board, and they would have to send it in to basically be refurbished, costing me, potentially, the price of a new laptop just to fix an old one. Just not worth it. So I looked around Yelp and found JT Solutions and saw all the great reviews. I went in on Thursday, and he walked me through the process of fixing it, saying he would check the keyboard and motherboard to see if it was really the logic board that was damaged. Turns out, it was just the keyboard, and he had it fixed by Monday night, and ready for pickup. Jimmy runs a great shop. Not only did he fix what Apple couldn't, he also did it for less than 1/3 of the price, the total even coming in below his initial estimate. I didn't lose my hard drive, it was a fair price, and all the repairs came out great. The back-light on the keyboard doesn't work, but Jimmy assured me it could be fixed if I had wanted to wait longer. I needed my computer back ASAP, so I passed. Hopefully, I won't need any more repairs, but if I do, I'm definitely going here first. read more

The OS on my old Dell laptop won't boot up and I came to a point where I might just have to buy a new hard drive and a new operating system. I was gonna go to Best buy and have them look at it and maybe have them fix but for some reason I ended up googling "best computer repair service near me" and I found this place. So I decided to just stop by the shop. Upon arrival, a friendly technician named Ryan approached me. Of course he asked me what I came for then finding out that they don't fix laptops. I just moved to the area and the first week here I get a very annoying spyware bug on my laptop, so annoying! Everywhere I called for removal was going to charge me AT LEAST $100-$200. All I wanted was this one bug removed and everyone else was going to charge for removal, diagnostics, etc. I called Jimmy and he only charged me $40! We had a cracked screen on on a Lenovo laptop. Jimmy identified the problem in minutes and clearly explained the problem and how to resolve it. After getting a quote from him we tried a couple of other places including 'Geek squad' at Best buy, none of them offered even close to the price Jimmy was offering. My work computer caught a virus. Friend of mine has her brother help me out and he at least gets it so I can turn it on and check email. I work for Penguin Insurance and we had Jimmy come in for our IT solutions after we had tried several other companies. Jimmy has been extremely helpful not only fixing our issues but also explaining what he was doing and what needed to be done moving forward. I call Jimmy because my Compaq presario f500 didn't work i could hear something was going on inside but i had no image in my screen!!! so i call Jimmy he told me to meet him in his house at around 7 pm and i did!!! so i explain to him what was wrong with my computer he reply let me check it, i won't charge you for that!! so i left my computer around 7:15 pm by 8 pm he had an answer!!! he told me the computer was working!!!, but it had a problem with the motherboard and need it a replacement of motherboard or save up for another one!!! i think he was pretty honest and i like that; my computer is working now but it is going to die who knows when!!! but i am very happy with his service, he charge me 40 dlls for fixing my comp. that is super cheap!!! so i do recommend him!!! thumbs up Jimmy!!! read more

I had a PC that I couldn't get to boot up. I talked to a few people...they all pointed at hardware issues....Jimmy let me bring the pc to his house....let me watch him as he swapped parts and cables.....tried to reformat with my disk.....then tried to reformat with his disks.....NO LUCK!.....Finally figured out that I had motherboard issues....he was able to back up all of my data from my 3 hard drives that I had.....basically built me a new unit from some old machines he had laying around!....OTD for far less than one of the Big Guys might have charged me!......he spent 2 1/2 hours with me trying to troubleshoot it the first night....He had the new unit formatted and loaded with all of my data by the next day!....Great Guy!.....Lots of Patience!!!!.........Thanks Jimmy! read more
