The last 2 calls here were a s#!t storm!…read more6 months ago, a $1200.00 mistake was made by the tech, telling us we needed that much additional work done, which we didn't. If it weren't for due diligence on my part, we would have had no way to know that the need wasn't there, but when they sent another tech out with "more experience", he found that the issue was caused by the last crew that Brooms sent out to fix the exact same problem a year before, which was not installed properly and freon was left low. I am not 100% sure we needed the work then that was done. This time, on a Thursday, the new tech left two wires reversed on a capacitor, causing my unit to not come on, which wasn't caught before he left. We had to make a Sunday call to a TRUSTED repair company to check it, and they found the issue quickly. I called to talk to the owner, and the person that I talked to (which was not the owner) hung up on me before finishing our discussion. If this is the best you have, I have already found someone else. LOTS of trustworthy people do HVAC work. I still haven't heard from the owner.
