We had an early dinner at Panera Bread, then I went for a walk after, while he took it easy. The holiday decorations are still up, and great deals are on at most stores. A speed walk of the whole Promenade section of the outlets led to The Loft. It's at the far northwest end of the center.I popped in and found most everything on additional sale over marked prices. I have a favorite pair of super soft sweater knit leggings from Loft, and hoped they had the same style in another color. They did, but in a shade I don't care for, unfortunately. They did have a great deal on other leggings, so I snagged two pairs; one was free. I also found scarves on 65% off. Hard to beat! A very professional sales associate took care of me at the cash wrap area. She was great. A few minutes later, I was back to the second half of my walk. I'll be checking out this store on future Outlet visits.

Somehow, I ended up with my wallet, so what better time to shop? Fashion Gal has a lot of trendy clothes, and I've been wanting to update some pieces in my wardrobe, so I took a lap around. Unfortunately, a lot of the clothing had cheap/thin material and high prices. However, directly to the left of the store - upon entering - was a clearance section. The items ranged from about $3 to $20 in the clearance section plus there was an additional discount on some of the items. I looked at a cute blue dress that I wasn't sure I wanted, wandered away, found out they have dressing rooms, and went back to try on the dress, where I found a cuter, fitter, smaller lady eyeing it. I watched, eagle eyed, as she lifted it up from the rack to check it out and eventually put it back. I bolted over and grabbed it, trying it on in the dressing room. It fit and looked really nice! Score! It cost $5! I've wandered in here a few times after shopping at Wal-Mart to look in the clearance racks for more nice, discounted clothes. I found a pretty dress (but had cheap material) for $3, a cute skirt skirt for $3, and romper for $3. Everything was also discounted for another 20%, so I walked away with three cute items of clothing for less than 10 bucks! Usually I now only look in the clearance section, then I'm out when I find nothing I like. Everything else in the store is a little overpriced for my tastes, but I definitely was excited to find some cute pieces. And it's a good way to hype up yourself up for going into the busy Wal-Mart shopping center to do some essential shopping when you know needless and fun shopping at Fashion Gal is next!

Found a couple pairs of jeans with at great prices less than at the department stores. As with any outlet shop, one has to know prices before hand to know if it's really a bargain. Currently, there's a fairly good selection of clearance items. Unfortunately for me, nothing I happened to be seeking was on clearance. Store was clean, racks and tables were orderly. I'd return again, no question about it. Tip: Plan your day to be there early as the lot gets more crowded after the lunch hour.

Nially came out from the back, and just yelled at us telling us we needed to get out. There was no, "excuse me, we're closing." It was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. The other girl there was sweet and was aware that we were about to check out. We told Nially that we were about to check out, showing her the clothes in our hands. She just said, "the door should've been locked at 8pm." We let her know that we were in the store before 8pm, and that's why we already made our selections. We were about to check out in a minute, and it was only 8:02pm. She stormed away, without an apology. We were so disgusted by her behavior, that I asked the other associate what that girl's name was and we left the clothes. We refused to support a business with such unprofessional staff. Nially is clearly not fit for a role in customer service.
