I have been a loyal customer for two years, but after my most recent experience, I will not be returning. The technician did a poor job cutting my cuticles, which led to painful hangnails. Additionally, my nails started looking awful after just four days--something I have never experienced before. When I brought my concerns to the manager, I expected professionalism and a commitment to great customer service. Instead, he deflected, defended the poor service, and took no accountability. Rather than listening and addressing the issue, he dismissed my concerns, which is unacceptable for a business that relies on customer loyalty. After almost 6 years, I'll finally be saying goodbye to Levie Nail Lounge. I want to lead with saying I've had nothing but great experiences with the staff. Leena was the last nail tech I had consistently. Upon sitting in her chair, (I wasn't booked for her the first time but, we will get to that later) immediately I was comfortable and we chatted like old friends. The age gap didn't seem to matter at all to her as she shared her struggle with kicking her habit of cursing yet I could feel her lean in intently as I shared my testimony of overcoming the "monster of the mouth." I feel honored when younger women inquire about juggling life with being a wife, having 5 sons and always chuckle when they find out about the twins. She spoke about school and I took notice of her beautiful set of hybrid lashes. Her and JP poking fun at one another between the sounds of the nail drills, while the Lounge traffic seemed to slow and the summer sky settled in.. oh to be young again. JP was the very first nail tech I had here. I remember being there for the grand opening, first or second one in. There was a banner up, it was quiet and kind of tucked away but back then, they had free margaritas (this was B.C (before Christ ) so just lean in) so I was sold! Unbeknownst to me, we found out we were having twins so-I enjoyed virgin drinks JP is an artist. In fact, you don't normally find techs that can see what you want and execute it perfectly. All of my ladies, you know exactly what I mean. So when you find a good nail tech, you hold on to em, right? I thought so too! As time progresses and I'm a regular customer, I start to discern something off with the "owner" or "manager". The warm and fuzzies don't exist, the conversation in short and cold and the exchange and appointment setting? Transactional. Covid happens, life changes, things freeze. None of this matters and we are all simply trying to survive what feels like the apocalypse. Everything major isn't major and the smallest things such as obtaining formula at the store become risks for a family of 7 with twins, a 1 year old, a new elementary schooler and the oldest discovering he doesn't really like any of us but - nails? No where in mind. Fast forward, after countless TikToks and FaceTime sessions, the world opened back up and guess what? NAILS! I call, spoke to the manager to make my appointment and wouldn't you guess, he's the nicest person in the world! I bet. Bills need to be paid! That lasted through the PPP loan era, the cash flood from women with overgrown toe nails, cuticles covering nail beds like weeds and the pure desperation to feel like a true lady season. Then? MR.TRUNCHBULL RETURNS! I've made several appointments since then, to include one where I was told I was "blacklisted" For not calling and cancelling (untrue but that's for another time/day) and also being told they were fully booked for ALL SLOTS, ALL TECHS AND ALL DAYS ok.. sure. When I could get in he would make sure they rushed on my services, he would tower over them and I discerned punishment was coming down the pipeline so I started bringing my devices to handle other business I had during my visit. I loved how every single customer that didn't look like me was always offered water by him, except me (I had to ask) and once during the mask mandate he made sure I had a mask before I was even greeted (it was on my chin being pulled up over my nose and mouth as I was stepping in) yet when I inquired as to why I was the only person required to have one on, his exact words were - "because it's my business and I'm not going back and forth with Karens. You just make sure you have your mask on." Prior to walking off. Today did it for me. I called to make an appointment, he told me they were not taking any more appointments (I've been seen and booked later than I called today ) today only after I asked to book with Leena who is currently unavailable/booked all week. "Oh ok! What about tomorrow? Is JP available?" To which he said, "ehhhhh he's booked too all day". I asked for the hours of operation for the week and when he sounded disgusted, I felt it appropriate to immediately ease his mind by sharing my concerns with the treatment I've experienced at his hands specifically over the last 5+ years despite tipping well and being a returning client VS a chair hopping customer. I ended our transactional phone dance we had been doing the last few years disappointed and hurt. To some, it's not a big deal and tomorrow it may not be. The disappointment isn't in the situation the disappointment is in the amount of time I spent trying to force my money on a business that truly didn't want it. If you are particular about your nails, I can recommend Leena and JP. But if you work hard for your money, so hard for your money and you know they better treat you right? Tuh. 1 star because there is no zero rating. This season of my life is all about accountability and honesty. Both are non negotiable. read more

When I first moved to Lewisville three years ago I stumbled across this place and instantly fell in love. I'd always bring my guest there so experience what I loved. That soon changed. I called scheduled an appointment once I showed up early and the owner argued with me that I didn't call and make an appointment literally had to show him in my phone where I called and how long I was on the call so he made me wait although I had an appointment. I spoke and one of the Asian lady dropped her head and ignored me as if I was not there . It was a young lady that did my nails and they were so bad when I left I showed my husband he said they were terrible. I get that salons try to upsell but this place does it at the expense of insulting customers. My last 2 times I had to repeatedly say no to a manicure and eyebrows service while getting my pedicure. I have been asked to explain why I don't get my brows done when I literally already have naturally nice brows and have always been complimented on them. I don't have to get my brows done and don't need someone implying that I do. The last tech, Teresa would just not let it go. I asked her why she kept asking about my brows and was she trying to say they look bad. She kept asking why I don't get them done. The lady in the chair across from me heard this, looked at me and shook her head. So I know it was not just me feeling like this was inappropriate. It's not okay to attempt to insult someone to try to make money off them. If I come in for a pedicure and you ask about brows, you are out of line. read more

Very nice on the inside and the people are very nice however, I likely won't be back. Went in for a full set and came out with overpriced, subpar work. I originally just wanted regular polish but at the urging of the tech, went for gel because it dries faster. I was told that it did cost a little more but I would get 20% off for their grand opening special (as posted out front). When the tech was finished, I went to the front to pay. The man at the front then pressured me to tell him if the tech pressured me to change to gel. On one hand I appreciate his stance on giving the customer what they ask for and making sure they don't feel uncomfortable. Yet, if I had felt slightly uncomfortable and pressured to change the service, I now felt even MORE uncomfortable that I was being grilled on feeling uncomfortable. I then paid $44 for a full set with gel (mind you, there was no manicure at all...cuticules were not trimmed, natural nails weren't even trimmed, nada). I get home and really take a look at my nails, they are not cute. They're thick, uneven, and look as though I painted them myself (I'm bad at it). Am I to believe this would have cost $55 without the 20%? or did I not get the discount as advised and advertised at all? Either way, definitely worth it. read more

Easily the worst nail salon experience I've ever had. Go somewhere else!! Starting from the customer, I wasn't greeted, and the employees seemed uninterested. I got a gel pedicure and dip nails. I was told I would have to pay $5 extra for my length but I got short nails..... ridiculous. I asked for my cuticles to be cut and trimmed for a nice clean look and was told that would be $7 extra. Absolutely ridiculous, not sure what my $43 was for then. The whole time I was being serviced, both technicians were making comments and giving me weird looks. The lady doing my nails was rough and would literally throw my hand over when she was finished with it. At the end I was extremely unhappy and uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. The manager took off the $5 charge for the length and agreed it wasn't fair. I told him I was unhappy with my service and he just said "okay". I was baffled by how little they cared and valued me as a customer. DO NOT COME HERE! I don't even like my nails that much and I would rather pay 2x the price for better service. read more

This is my first time here. It is very clean! There is a 20% off all services due to their grand opening! I got a deluxe pedicure. I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and the price. I was a walk-in and was quickly taken care of. Their decorations for Halloween are very cute and festive! It is a calm and smoothing atmosphere. They also have a nice selection of nail polishes. I went to this salon based on the great Google reviews. The pedi was fine, but my manicure was a disaster. The technician only did two coats of color, and you could see right thru to my nail underneath. I didn't notice this until check out, but still didn't say anything (you win some you lose some) and even tipped 20%. Two days later the areas with little to no color started turning yellow. I went back to ask for either a credit or a new manicure. I spoke to the same technician who did my nails, and he refused to give me anything other than a coat on top. He said it was against policy to start them over completely (this is a simple GEL MANI, not dip or acrylics!). I tried to reason with him, but he went on to tell me how a lot of people try to take advantage so he will not budge. At one point he said "our policy is to resolve issues within a wee-- a few days". This was on Tuesday after getting them done Sunday, so he seemed to switch the policy real quick so that I couldn't come in on the weekend. (I told him i work 10-7pm, which are their weekday hours). He also didn't hesitate to tell me he's "happy to lose a customer over this". I completely understand saying that to someone who is out of line, but I was very respectful and reasonable. Anyway - I typically do not write reviews but I felt completely taken advantage of, considering I paid $79 for a basic pedicure and gel manicure, and was basically told to go f myself when I didn't settle for their "one coat on top" resolution. As someone who is very experienced in customer service, I suggest putting your ego aside, and making things right when it's efficient and affordable to do so. I've gotten my nails done here twice and each time was mediocre. The guy that did my nails the second time seemed really bothered that he was even doing them. Recently I went in to get a previous set taken off,didn't want anything more than that per my previous visits..this was at 4:30pm, and I was turned away because it was too late in the day to do something like that?
