Long story short, I stop wearing my retainers post treatment which is why I ended up in Dr Kaplans office ( * shrugs shoulders/hides face lol). Good thing Invisalign treatment is only for 6-8 months, that will fly by in no time. Today (12/21) was a pre bday gift to myself. If I didn't listen to the signs and symptoms, the cost of the repairs would have gone too far and to the point where I would eventually start needing implants. During my ortho treatment, my jaw muscles stopped overcompensating and my face had slimmed to a V-shape. My teeth & jaw muscles began finding balance. Ortho saved my smile from a premature death. I know you're already imagining the confidence a straight smile will bring to your life. For me, working as a cosmetic dental hygienist.. EVERYONE looks at my smile. The assistant makes sure you are comfortable and explains the process to you, and if you are not a big baby, it is smooth. You can even sit back and watch a movie while they are setting. When I told the receptionist why we had returned, she literally said to me that she talked to the call center, the doctor had just left and told them that they could close early, so I would need to reschedule. It was 3:50pm and the office was still open with patients being seen. I pointed to the technician who had installed the brackets and mentioned that she was still there and all we wanted was for her to reattach them. The receptionist stated that the technician could not see my daughter without the doctor seeing her first, although we had literally just left. I mentioned that I had to take off work today and pull her out of school for the appointment and she did not care. She also told me that she would not be calling the doctor to come back and offered an appt for the following morning. I pleaded with her about calling the doctor and she literally said, "We don't have her number". The technician was literally a few feet from me, and the receptionist refused to even have her to come out to speak with me about the issue. I cannot take off work short notice, so my daughter will have to now go 3 weeks without brackets properly installed in her mouth. When I asked about going to another location, she said "I don't know anything about that'. She had no compassion or concern at all. Now I will be trying to figure out a way to have my daughter seen by another office. The customer service was so poor that I never want to set foot in that office again. I am baffled at how someone could be so insensitive and work with the public.

Mind you I've been coming to Laser Dentistry since I moved to GA in 2018 and Dee my hygienist up until she left over a year ago was the absolute best. Ever since she left, I've not been too pleased with my cleanings and Tara gets crowned "the rudest, most uncaring, rushed job, smart mouth Queen. When she started, she was rough and I told her I have sensitive teeth and asked her to be more gentle. She said "I can tell by the look on your face" and laughed. I said, Yes, you're too rough". She proceeded and was still rough and rushing. I told her she was hurting me and she replied, "Sometimes we have to bear the grit and pain". It took everything in me not to snap on her because she clearly had no clue that I'm a loyal patient but I'm not some kid she can talk down to. After literally 15 or 20 minutes, she was done. I asked her what happened to polishing my teeth and she told me she did that first. I said, "oh really". Oh I forgot to say the first round of X-rays she did came back with "error" so she had to do them again and was very rough with the "bite" process as well. After Dr Nguyen came in to check X-rays etc, he told her to do something that should've done initially that she failed to do. Then after that she told me I was done. Mind you she never gave me a rinse so my mouth felt gritty and she didn't give me my dental care package. I complained about her at checkout and thankfully Caroline went and got my rinse and Char got my care package but I overheard her tell Char, "She was only here 30 minutes" as if that was justification for her not giving me my care package. All I know is I told them I would not sit in her chair again and that she needs a whole lot of training on bedside manners and not rushing! She thought it was all funny. Luckily, I love the staff because my experience with her made me think about finding a new dentist. However, I realize she's the bad apple in the bunch and she will not run me away. So warning, go to Laser but if you want a great teeth cleaning and good bed side manners, stay away from Tara's chair. She SUCKS! Love the rest of the team tho.. so they get 5 stars but Ms Tara gets a negative 5. I said what I said. Tara, do better! PeriodT!

Our wait was short as we had an appointment. The operations manager briefed us, then the dentist came in, spoke with us, examined my granddaughter and allowed us to ask questions after she explained what she saw and what she suggested. Then the ops mgr explained the price and the next steps necessary to start the treatment if we decided to use this facility. The only negative point, it is a 1 hour drive from our home.
