I like this theatre a lot because it's never overly crowded. Always good choice of seats and the popcorn and sodas are worth the price.

We came her to see the movie, "Ab Fab", this weekend. It was playing only in Royal Oak and Ann Arbor in Michigan, so I did a search and found it was in Perrysburg, only 30+ minutes away. My sister and I were big fans of the series when it was on the BBC and couldn't wait to see Patsy and Edina again! The ride down was horrendous-don't take I-75 S to Toledo on the weekend in the summer. Construction was terrifying! I nearly lost my life when a tractor-trailer lost control on wet pavement and swung into our lane. But my sister was quick and got out of his way! A near-death experience can make you kinda giddy so we were so happy when we found the theater. It's located in a "Lifestyle" shopping center. Which means it looks like a quaint mini-town with well popular brands mixed in with offices and restaurants. Lots of hotels in the area for some reason. This theater is a Cinemark and it's pretty much like the one in Taylor. Clean and well-laid out. There are lots of choices in the concession stand, including french fries and ice cream drinks. The film was great! Patsy and Edina were in rare form! The only complaint I would have is that the seats aren't as comfortable as the ones at the Phoenix. Still, it's nice to have another option when you are going to see a film!

They have an option to actually add on any Refreshments that you want and deliver to your seats but that option is never available so you still have to go to the counter anyway. When you go to the counter there is a disinterested College coed there who acts like they don't want to be bothered. You are still paying a premium price for popcorn and a Coke or whatever drink you want. We actually got there early which never happens and we were the only two people in the theater the whole time so I would recommend purchasing your tickets when you get there to avoid the convenience fee. The theater was actually decently clean this timebut the reason why they get no more stars is there is a big sign that says there is a bar now available and I never did find it. And if you know me I was looking for it LOL. The seats are all uncomfortable and do not recline. Nothing special about this theater and if you have another one to go to I would recommend going there. Just FYI. Still doing construction on the way there on Anthony Wayne Trail so good luck with the that

I tried a million times to reserve seats online but kept getting annoying error messages. This theater is at the back of a shopping mall. Not a good look as it looks like most everything is closed but we were here. If you cant reserve online you purchase tickets at the counter where you order food. We walked around dumb looking for a kiosk or something since that's what's what we are used to looking for. Found our way and got popcorn and snacks. The cocktails were beer or wine spritzers. Not actual wine. I was disappointed by this. Theater had maybe 8 rows and small but hey heated seats that reclined. Probably be nice in winter but not on this beautiful 95 degree day. No emax or 3D. Just plain screen for a great action movie. Shame. 2 stars for being clean and no rude guests but our local theaters are better than this. No need to go out the way for here

It's not quite a dying mall, but much of the vast expanse of parking lot is crumbling and in shambles. Fortunately, the front parking lot is fine, and as far as I can tell the building never comes close to reaching its maximum capacity. Did it ever? Are there even that many people in Washtenaw county? The inside matches apace with concession stands aplenty. However most sit empty and vacant. The one up front is active and pops the very familiar movie theater style, overly salty corn, smothered in butter flavored grease, for a small fortune. I'm really spoiled when it comes to popcorn. If you can find the White Cat kernels from Indiana, and pop them at home, you'll be spoiled too. But I digress. I did kinda like the efficiency of the concession operation, with the attendants behind the counter getting you your food and drink, and then walking up to the register to pay. That said, the person at the register looked a little dead in the eyes. Can't blame 'em. It seems like a brutally monotonous gig. The theaters themselves are fine. Some are smaller. Some are bigger. Can't say I love the bzzzzzz bzzzzzz of the reclining seats. Can't say I love the IMAX experience either. It's been a long long time since I've seen an IMAX, but I remember the screens being bigger. If I'm not mistaken at one point the minimum size of an IMAX was three stories tall. Perhaps they have made adjustments to the standards in the past 20 years to smooth the path to more screens across the US. Ultimately, I'm glad we have a multiplex in the area. Not everything shows at the smaller theaters in town. That doesn't mean that I don't feel guilty about seeing pictures at the big chain. Perhaps it helps that the experience of Cinemark and their convenience fee for buying tickets online, and all of their pricing shenanigans that try and get you into the Movie Club, fills me with a bit of rage. The bottom line is that Cinemark is fine. Theoretically it could earn bonus points for some of the interesting international films they show, and a few fringe offerings to boot, but the negatives cancel those out. Better concessions and fewer pricing shenanigans would elevate the experience and actually make me want to go there, as opposed to just ending up there when it's the only spot showing a movie I want to see.
