Great place to be up and close to the shows! Zach and crew put on one heck of a show. The theater is alcohol free. Parking lot is small. Bathrooms clean.

Classic. As far as I can tell, MIT is the last (almost) independent theater in the Toledo area...the last (almost) independent theater that still shows, essentially, first run movies, that is. The owners have a total of 4 movie venues in Northwest Ohio, including a couple of drive ins. Personally, I love seeing movies here. The sound system is modern, and they are able to project 3-D films. I admit that stadium style seating in nice, but the old school seating at MIT is just fine. The seats are very comfortable, and I've never had a problem seeing the screen. In addition to the main auditorium, MIT has a smaller "screening room" in the back of the building, that's less formal. That is, there are more kids making more noise. Of course, it seems like they usually show kid movies back there. The seats there are, and I'm serious now, the most comfortable folding chairs in the world. Thickly padded, your ass will not get sore. The seats are thickly padded, too. Plus, they are reclineable (if you, like me, don't mind leaning back on two legs). Also cool is that there are 6 large round tables, with chairs around them naturally, in the back of the screening room. It's nice to have someplace, other than your lap, on which set your nachos, popcorn, and pop. If you are a total movie snob, who must have THE finest projection system, and THE biggest screen, and THE finest seats, and THE best sound, then one of the big chain theaters might be more to your liking. But for most people, the Maumee Indoor Theater would be a great place to catch a flick.

I love this place! I have been coming here for movies and other events for years. Can't beat the prices of the movies or food of this place

A really cool theater -- you can feel the heritage of the independent cinemas like this that were once in every small American town.

They have an option to actually add on any Refreshments that you want and deliver to your seats but that option is never available so you still have to go to the counter anyway. When you go to the counter there is a disinterested College coed there who acts like they don't want to be bothered. You are still paying a premium price for popcorn and a Coke or whatever drink you want. We actually got there early which never happens and we were the only two people in the theater the whole time so I would recommend purchasing your tickets when you get there to avoid the convenience fee. The theater was actually decently clean this timebut the reason why they get no more stars is there is a big sign that says there is a bar now available and I never did find it. And if you know me I was looking for it LOL. The seats are all uncomfortable and do not recline. Nothing special about this theater and if you have another one to go to I would recommend going there. Just FYI. Still doing construction on the way there on Anthony Wayne Trail so good luck with the that

Typically we go to another theatre that's a bit closer with some better amenities (a fairly robust food, menu, a full bar, etc) but we came here because it was the only theatre in the area showing a movie we wanted to see. Gone are the days of the giant movie releases where multiple concession counters are open, so parts of the building do feel like of deserted, but it was still pretty busy for a Monday night and there was a bit of a line, though it did move pretty quickly. A lot of it is grab and go (including most hot food), so it's convenient and quick, though the quality does suffer a bit not being made to order (compared to their local chain competitor who delivers your food to your seat). I got the chicken fingers and we split some fries and they were ok. Not great but not terrible. It got the job done. We also split some popcorn which was freshly popped. I'd probably just stick to that and a soda next time. The theatres are clean and the seats themselves are recliners and pretty comfy and in good condition. Projection was good, as was the sound. Commercials/trailers were almost a half hour long which felt a bit like overkill, tho. Over all, it was fine. Not impressive enough to get us to change our regular theatre but serviceable for a visit now and again.

They have a lot of self-service items like nachos which I kind of like. I wouldn't get the pizza that's sitting out there because who knows who touched that but the nachos are in a bag and the cheese is enclosed so I felt comfortable with that. I didn't see any signage to tell you to get your own items so I didn't know. When I went up to the counter the snooty uninterested college-aged person wasn't very nice about telling me I had to get my own nachos. Guess she just don't know this is going to be putting her out of a job pretty soon. So this theater is in a mall so busier than the other locations which isn't good. All kinds of security walking around but folks on their phones texting during the movie, belching and yeah I heard a few farts. Nasty folks. I came to look at Jason Momoa. If you don't know him, Google him up. You ll come look too. Anyway, the self service kiosk is never able to scan my prepaid qr code so I end up going to the counter anyhow. Parking is harder because its in the mall. Go to one of the theaters in the burbs. No one farting there
