Paid about $600 dollars for them to fix my gas gage. Still doing the same thing as if they didn't even touch it.

We bought a 2012 Equinox in 2015. We paid 2500.00 for an extended warranty and was told that if we didn't use it, we would get it back. The Equinox started having Stabiltrak warnings, errors and codes. We traded off the Equinox Monday 10-15-2018. When I called Zurich, the warranty company, I was told that I was eligible to get 11% of the 2500.00 back. I was livid. I called John Baker 3 times on 10/16 and 10/17. The guy answering the phone, put me on hold and said he gave Baker my name and number and he would be calling me.He has never got back with me. So I called again and asked to speak to his boss, Wednesday 10/17. Jeremy or Josh is whom I left the voicemail with. I never heard back from him either. Terrible way of doing business. You don't mind taking our money, but you'll go out of your way not to give it back. I am taking the paper work,that I signed, to a lawyer. 01/09/19 Since I originally posted this, I called and spoke to the owner Mike. He was supposed to check into this and he never called back. He seemed to be more concerned about being able to read the call records of when I called in. And seen once where they called me, but never left a voicemail. So today I called again and left him a voicemail. He never called back. I again called back and talked to Selma. She is suppose to mail me a check for 233.00.. I explained again about the, if we don't use it we get it all back conversation, she said it's pro rated. I am 58 years old and I have bought a lot of cars in my life. I have always found the people nice and the sales fair. They are not afraid to tell you the truth, even when it contradicts what you are thinking. The service department will not try to sell you a service you do not need, and I was surprised by this, as it is not usual for a dealership. read more

this is my letter to the BBB about my experience in buying an vehicle at this establishment the case went "unresolved" I bought a 2017 Jeep Compass from this dealership at a scratch and dent event. The vehicle had some hail damage on the hood and roof and the price tag was $22,400. Before my wife and I made a decision to buy the Jeep we asked how much it would cost to get the hail damage fixed. The salesman told us around $200 plus some Bondex, but then said 'We will take $500 off the price to pay for that, At that point we agreed to the purchase, intending to get it fixed. I had asked if they had an auto body shop and was told they did, but that person was on vacation for a week. I called several times and was told that a message would be passed on to 'Jeremy', the person that was on vacation. After no responses to any of my calls, I sent a message via Facebook, still no response. We then went to another body shop (recommended by a friend) to get an estimate---$3,500.00. A second estimate from another body shop yielded a similar amount. We would have never have bought this vehicle if we had known it was going to be an additional $3500.00 repair job on a nearly new 2017 Jeep Compass. We were purposely lied to in order to close the deal and feel this dealership may be making a practice of doing so. If the dealership had any intention of being honorable they should have made an effort to respond to our calls and make some sort of restitution for such glaring fraud. they responded in denial....my 2nd and last letter to the BBB We were the party that attempted to contact Lewis Chevrolet first, through phone calls and Facebook (see previous complaint) and were told the message would be passed on. We had no communication from Lewis Chevrolet until September 6th when they finally responded to my heated message. (See attached snapshot of Facebook communication). Yes, we were aware of the hail damage--which is why we asked for a rough estimate and was told it would cost $200.00 and some Bondex to fix it. The salesman told us several times that it was an easy fix and any body shop could do the work. We were NEVER given the option to take the Jeep to a body shop for a quote; instead we were told that we needed to confirm the deal that night in order to buy the vehicle. The dealership was pressuring us to buy--not letting us take the time to think about the deal much less get an estimate; plus the salesman himself gave a false impression of the cost of repairs. I'm sorry I let my feelings get the better of me, but after spending that kind of money and relying on the honesty of the salesman, finding out that it would cost an additional $3500.00 was just unacceptable. In our opinion, the dealership was not being professional about returning our calls and the salesman was definitely NOT being honest about the repairs. do I need to say more about this dealership? read more

I bought a used Ford Focus 2 Years ago. Had nothing but trouble!! The day I bought it the radio didn't work. I complained and was basically told that since it was a Ford, it WASN'T THEIR PROBLEM!!! After a great deal of complaining they got it serviceable, but it has NEVER worked right. After the Warranty ran out it began riding like a Lumber wagon. Had a rear tire that was so far out of Balance that it shook the whole car, so I had to spend $100 on a new tire, balancing, etc. 3 months after my purchase I had to buy a new battery, Called them and again was told the Warranty had run out so it wasn't their problem. I discovered during the first average Thunderstorm I discovered the Windshield wipers were ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESSS!!! If it rained hard at all I had to pull off the road. I have purchased several cars in my life and this is absolutely the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had!! If I needed a different vehicle and they were the only Dealer left... I WOULD WALK!!! I know I'm not the only person that this has happened to. I hope these people sleep well read more
