When I originally purchased the service, Justis told me it would take approximately 4-5 hours. During the day, I repeatedly saw Brad and Justis spending significant amounts of time recording TikToks with my vehicle rather than working on it. I was also specifically sold on the fact that this shop had a $70,000 alignment machine and would be performing the alignment themselves. Around 2:45 PM, they told me they were taking my Bronco on a test drive and then getting the alignment done. I tracked the vehicle using its built-in GPS and saw it sitting at Chipotle for approximately 35 minutes. When they returned, I asked where the alignment had been performed. I was told they had taken it to Firestone and that they walked across the street to Chick-fil-A while it was being done. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They also told me none of my tires needed balancing, which I found extremely strange. Two days later, I called the Firestone location they claimed to have used. I spoke with Layton, who told me they had **no record of my Bronco coming in.** I then called Justis and Brad to give them an opportunity to explain. They continued to insist the alignment had been done and reassured me that they were "not that type of shop." I even told them I had a GPS tracker and knew the vehicle had been at Chipotle, yet they still maintained that the service had been performed. They offered me a free alignment, but I declined because I wasn't willing to spend another hour and a half driving back to a shop I no longer trusted. The Bronco continued to have constant vibrations and rode poorly, so I took it to another shop this morning. Their findings: * The toe was **0.48 degrees out of specification** * The technician found no evidence underneath the vehicle that an alignment had been performed * The technician confirmed the vehicle had not been aligned * **Every tire was approximately 2 oz out of balance and required weights** After having the alignment and balancing properly performed elsewhere, the difference was **night and day**, especially at highway speeds. What bothers me most isn't simply that the work apparently wasn't done. It's that I gave this business multiple opportunities to be honest with me, and they continued to tell me the services had been performed when the subsequent inspection strongly indicated otherwise. People are paying good money and trusting this shop with their vehicles. Alignment and balancing aren't cosmetic services, they directly affect how a vehicle drives and handles at highway speeds. **I would not recommend this shop to anyone.** If you use them, I strongly recommend independently verifying that the work you paid for was actually performed. Based on my experience, I will never trust this shop with my vehicle again.

So I go in on Friday Feb 9th I test drive a '05 Jeep Grand Cherokee, everything seems fine. I purchase the Jeep for $5000. It has a few dents and dings but overall looks good. My daughter decides to ride with me to take it home about 12 miles from their place. We almost get home and my daughters shoes and bottom of pants are wet there is like 3 inches of water in the passenger floor board. It's a little weird but I think it's something that can be dealt with. It doesn't seem like a heater core, so decently easy fix. The next morning(Saturday Feb 10th) we(me, wife and 2 daughters) decide to go to the flea market 7 miles from my house in Jefferson because one of the dash speakers are busted(again no big deal). On the way back between the Jefferson exit and my exit(3 miles) smoke is blowing out from under the hood and white smoke from the tail pipe. I pull over on the interstate immediately. It's rolling with smoke. There's no oil on the top of the engine side, I check the dip stick and zero oil I had checked the dipstick the morning before leaving just to make sure. It was a little bit low but no big deal figured I would put a half quart in before I get home, before you ask, I'm not dumb I know how to check oil I made sure to put the dipstick in all the way. I'm a little disheartened and bummed because it's my luck I buy a car from a dealer and after barely having it for like a day I'm already on the side of the interstate with a large puddle of oil under it. With it being less than 24 hours and less than 25 miles the dealer was called they said they would fix it no problem and sent a tow truck to come and get it. I get a family member to pick us up from the side of the interstate. Tuesday February 13th(today) they call and say it's ready to be picked up all better right? I mean, no harm no foul finally a good used auto dealer who stands by something they sale someone and do the right thing...wrong again. So we pull in and I get my dad to go in a get the key because I'm little upset and I don't want to be a jerk. They won't release him the key and I have to pay a tow fee to get the Jeep like $160-$180 dollars. Them not releasing the key is understandable because he's not me. I was blown away that I would have to pay for a wrecker to fix a vehicle you sold me. The conversation is what BROKE my heart. So I'm upset during this conversation but didn't raise my voice once. Me "Dude just give me the key." Al "Not until you pay the tow fee" Me "Why do I have to pay a tow fee for you to fix a vehicle you sold me. That's messed up." This next part is important now pay attention. Al "You bought a used car for $4200 ." Me "No I paid you $5000 for it." Al "No, the other part was taxes." Me "I don't care if I paid you $1 you sold me the vehicle and it broke down and dumped all the oil less than 25 miles." The owner came in to the lobby and started shouting to stop. Me "What are you doing man you're the owner and shouting at an upset customer." Owner, tiny guy with a mustache. "It's because you're arguing." Me "It's because this is crap. Whatever how much for the key, I only have $160 cash in my wallet." Owner "Well I'm the one who called the tow truck so how about we settle for $100" As I hand him the $100 Me "geeze man you guys are good people, just real great people." I go out side get in the vehicle and it starts after the 6th time trying and smelling burning oil and skips the entire way home and now I'm sitting in my couch feeling fleeced and cheated, just violated. Was told it came with bumper-to-bumper warranty. 26 miles from the lot -- exhaust pouring smoke. Returned it immediately. They kept it for a month, calling it fixed. Picked it up -- same result after 26 miles. Found a full engine overhaul receipt in the glove box -- done just before the sale. My mechanic found the oil dangerously overfull -- loaded with stop-leak. Top Gear's response when I called: Take it to our mechanic -- we're not going to help you. Independent reputable mechanic's verdict: engine needs full replacement. Warranty company: covers only certain parts. Engine not included. I am now making monthly payments on a vehicle with a blown engine. As a single mother supporting my family alone, this is devastating -- and entirely preventable if the dealer had been honest and/or taken responsibility.

I've heard every line, and just about every excuse for not following through. I've dealt with junkyard and salvage yards hundreds of times, and these guys have been there for me multiple times (in both the old and new location). I needed an engine for my personal car this go'round, and of the two people I spoke with on the phone, they both genuinely seemed to care about what I was looking for, and when I needed it by. There was some confusion over one engine this, and another engine that, but that's because there was a communication gap between phone calls, and HPC cannot be blamed for this. Donor arrived at their site, then they pulled the engine and had me an engine the same day the donor arrived, and then a phone call to let me know it was ready for pickup. Cool. Being an old technician, I do all my own work, so I just needed them to source the engine this go'round. The mileage was written on the valve-cover, and the VIN plate was still attached so I could do some background check on the car it came out of. Neat. My only gripe is that the parking lot can be tough to get in and out of when they are busy, but that happens at every business, so it's no biggie. I'll be back when I need something else.
