We contacted the dealer immediately but were offered no inspection or help. We requested a Carfax and maintenance records at that time. The Carfax was provided about 1.5 months later, and no maintenance records were ever given. Soon after, multiple warning lights appeared (brakes, power steering, engine). On Mar 24, the car failed to accelerate safely. It had only been driven ~510 miles since purchase. Despite early reports, we were told nothing could be done due to a 30-day window. On Mar 27, inspection found a misfire code and we were told basic maintenance had not been done prior to sale. No resolution was offered. We are now paying for repairs. Strongly recommend an independent inspection before buying. No hubo solución. Ahora asumimos los costos. Recomendamos inspección independiente antes de comprar.

My salesman was Juan, long story short he was an IDIOT LOL I only bought my car from there because the finance manager James got me a good deal on the interest as a first time college student buyer and I had 1 week to find a car and purchase so I was on a time crunch. I will say take ANY CAR to get inspected! I paid $100 to get one car inspected by Deutschland service around the corner (Great experience and experienced mechanic). The car had a few issues so it was a no go. I went back the second day to get a second car inspected and took it to speedy auto service and paid $60 (horrible experience and came to find out the car I purchased had moonroof issues) luckily it was under the 40,000 miles so Mercedes Benz of Marietta fixed it for free. (Go see Dietrick) I got lucky because everything else was in great condition. Fast forward to February once my temporary tag was about to expire I came to find out that nobody registered my car here so I had to spend a whole day at the DMV and the emissions test place because it also never went through the emissions inspection! I GOT LUCKY AGAIN! I went back and forth with Wells Fargo until they finally settled on refunding me back $150 out of the $300 they charged me to do the paperwork.

Unfortunately, this has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had purchasing a vehicle…read more I purchased a 2022 Tesla Model S remotely. I found the vehicle advertised on the CarGurus app and started the credit application process there, trusting the professionalism conveyed by the dealership through the photos and videos of the luxury vehicles advertised. The problems started almost immediately. First, my vehicle's paperwork was processed for the wrong state, causing delays in activating my insurance and registering my E-ZPass. Even after almost two months, the vehicle still did not properly appear under my name with the Massachusetts RMV. My insurance company even listed the owner as "Unknown Owner" because the registration process had not yet been completed. Throughout this entire period, I requested updates several times. Most of my attempts went unanswered, and the after-sales support was practically nonexistent. The situation became even worse when I personally went to the dealership to pick up the vehicle. During delivery, I discovered several problems and missing items that had not been disclosed beforehand. The vehicle was delivered with only one Key Card, missing the second Key Card, the Key Fob, the owner's manual, printed documents, the delivery folder, the trunk cover, and other original accessories that come with the vehicle even when it is used. We also found torn door weather seals, damaged trim, and numerous scratches that had not been shown in the photos or videos presented by the dealership before the sale. These issues were documented in the presence of the employee who handled the delivery. However, the most serious problem happened immediately after I picked up the vehicle. Within a few hours of personally picking up the car from the dealership, I contacted them by email and text messages informing them that the air conditioning system was not functioning properly and that condensation water was being drained into the vehicle's cabin, soaking the carpet on the driver's side. These communications exist and can be verified. The defect was reported to the dealership only a few hours after I picked up the vehicle. I attempted to contact the dealership more than 20 times. My calls were ignored or disconnected, and several emails went unanswered. At no point was I informed that the vehicle had a defect in the climate control system or a water intrusion problem. Had this information been provided before the purchase, I would never have purchased this vehicle. And after I reported the defect, the dealership is now saying that I purchased the vehicle "as-is." It was only after I began complaining about the vehicle's problems that I started hearing this term. I am an ordinary consumer. I found the vehicle publicly advertised for sale as being in excellent condition and excellent working order, applied for financing, completed the purchase, and personally traveled to pick up the vehicle. At no point was I informed that I was purchasing a vehicle with this defect. Regardless of the argument later presented regarding the vehicle being sold "as-is," this does not change the chronology of what happened or erase the emails and text messages sent only a few hours after I picked up the vehicle, documenting the problem. The vehicle was subsequently inspected by Tesla itself, which confirmed that repairs are necessary and provided an initial estimate of approximately $3,915, an amount that may still increase after the diagnosis and necessary services are completed. This purchase has already caused me financial losses, loss of time, and countless hours trying to resolve problems that I did not expect to face with a vehicle of this value. The biggest disappointment is not only the registration problems, the items and conditions that were not disclosed before the purchase, or the serious defect presented by the vehicle. It is mainly the lack of communication, responsibility, and customer support after the sale. When I needed help the most, I was unable to obtain a solution. My intention has always been to resolve this situation amicably. Unfortunately, to this day, I have not obtained a solution to a problem that I reported to the dealership only a few hours after picking up the vehicle. Anyone, even without technical or legal knowledge, who reviews this entire complaint and the corresponding documentation can form their own conclusion about the way this situation was handled. I will continue preserving all documentation related to this case, including emails, text messages, videos, photographs, purchase documents, records of my attempts to contact the dealership, and the documents issued by Tesla.

On Sat, Jan 31, the Check Engine Warning Light came on. On Feb 2, Mon, (one day after the 5 day money back guarantee expired), I took the car to my mechanic who advised me that a $1600 repair would be needed to address the underlying issue (failed oil solenoids) behind the engine warning light. When inquiring with both the Porsche mechanic and my local mechanic on why there were no codes recorded in the diagnostics box indicating this problem, they both mentioned that the history can be erased by simply disconnecting the battery from the car for a period of time. I am not accusing F4 Motors of having done anything improper as the error codes could have been eliminated prior to them acquiring the car. However, both mechanics are skeptical that such a problem with this car developed overnight and there was no history in the diagnostics.

Within that experience, I've seen just about every dealership scenario you can imagine, and this business is bad folks... really bad. 6/22/16: I saw a car on their website and although the carfax looked mostly okay, there were some questionable issues I felt needed checked out by a mechanic. F4's asking price was 1K over the Fair Market Retail Value for a car they claimed was in GOOD condition. I spent $100 and took the car to a mechanic down the road who spent 90 mins going over the car in detail. He gave me a report of repairs needed. I then called my regular mechanic, and a franchise dealership (of the make of car I was considering) to get estimates on the recommended repairs which totaled $3,000. I took the report back to F4 and showed it to the sales person. At best the car was in Fair condition with a Fair Market Retail Value $3,200 below their asking price. The one negotiation the owner was willing to offer: If I paid for all the needed repairs myself, except for one, the dealer was only willing to take $500 off asking price. Seriously? You've had a car on your lot for two months. I'm the absolute first person who's shown any interest in that time, I'm willing to pay Fair Market Value for Fair condition, and you're not interested in making a sale? Once I said I wasn't buying, the salesman actually turned his head, and when I stuck out my hand to shake hands, he wouldn't acknowledge me. I haven't had anyone sulk at me since my children were very small. UPDATE 7/11/16: I checked on F4's website today and saw that the car is still listed for the same price and the descriptions F4 used for the car: "CONDITION REPORT No Known Mechanical Problems (except for the ones the mechanic found) Excellent Interior (except for the broken part) Excellent Carpets Excellent Seats (stains) Excellent Dashboard Excellent Panels / Headliner Excellent Exterior (except for the needed repairs and replacements) Excellent Original Paint (except for what was repainted after accident repairs) Excellent Trim Condition Excellent Glass Condition No Known Accidents (Carfax lists an accident) No Known Bodywork (Carfax gives info on body repair) Fully Detailed" (It was quite dirty inside and out on June 22) Wow. I have a hard time wrapping my head around this sort of "advertising". Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this unprofessional business.
