My wife and I went here for our Friday night date night. We ordered the porterhouse and did not like it since it's an aged steak ( this was our first time trying that) anyways we were asking for the check when our server asked if we liked the food. We told them no but it was ok. We were ready to check out when the manager came over and went above and beyond for us. He brought us the menu and told us to order something else. Having eaten many times at Okeechobee Steakhouse, their "parent" restaurant, we finally got to try Lewis. Very cozy vibe, with a lively bar and high backed booths set in a dark room. Liked it. Service by Sherry was perfect. Had a Sol Fashioned (extra-añejo tequila old fashioned), which was awesome. Started with calamari which was lightly dusted in cornmeal, large tubes (no tentacles) and super tender. Maybe the best I've had, at least in a long time. Also ordered the A5 steak app, which was a perfect 5-6 bites of the best meat on the planet. Any more would have been too much as it's so rich. We split a huge Gorgonzola salad which is very light and flavorful, perfect mid-course. For mains we steered away from steaks for the night and tried the lobster and shrimp bucatini fra diavolo and Chilean sea bass with bok choy. Pasta was a bit light on the shrimp and lobster, with two large shrimp and a handful of mostly claw meat, no tail, but otherwise good. Sea bass was excellent, with a nice seared crust and soy glaze. Lastly, for desert we shared a chocolate mousse which was the perfect light and decadent ending to a great meal. We will definitely be back! read more

What's surprised that I was not seated at a table upon arrival, but made to wait in the hallway until the other half of my party arrived I could've at least had a drink while I waited that surprised me... Also given the expensive nature of the restaurant and the fine dining experience that it is I was surprised to see Shorts and sneakers allowed in the dining room seemed overly casual for the level of food and service. Food quality was excellent. The meal was superb. Appetizers entrée and desserts all excellent... The coffee seemed strange for a regular American coffee ...seems to be more of a cappuccino with a very large amount of foam on top of it. Great service, amazing food and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the different cuts. We ended up getting the beef flight for two with a side of brussel sprouts. The quality of meat was outstanding. The Australian waygu melted in your mouth. I wasn't the biggest fan of the cowboy cut just because of the fattiness. The bone marrow was topped with a rich waygu as well. The brussel sprouts were a very big portion that was more than enough for the two of us. I like my brussel sprouts a bit more crispy than what was presented however they were still good! Ambiance was typical for a steakhouse, but more modern than others I have seen which I liked. Two small TV's at the bar as well. It was very cold in the restaurant so make sure you layer! I will definitely be back for another outstanding meal and to try the cheesecake! read more

Long time regulars of okeechobee steakhouse ... so we thought we'd give it a try. The service is impeccable just like their sister restaurant, she did not miss a beat and of course did the steak presentation. I got the New York strip cooked medium rare with a side of fries- it was cooked to perfection and delicious. We all had French onion soup for our app and it was lightly burned on the top which I love- the only thing I wish it had more broth. We will definitely be coming back! Quality of the steaks was not commensurate with the price. A bit chewy and not what you would expect from prime beef. We asked for our steaks to be charred. They put some sort of sweet substance on top which tasted burnt. We could not eat the sautéed spinach as it was permeated with an overpowering amount of raw garlic. Calamari app was chewy and undercooked. All rings and no tentacles. Even with the $50 credit for a birthday we probably will not return. read more

Friends visiting from out of town wanted to go to a steakhouse. So they made reservations at Lewis steakhouse. There was a little problem with our reservation (7pm) but they were quick to resolve the issue and we were seated quickly. The side was nice steakhouse vibes with dark colors. The noise level was pretty high and it was a little hard to hear. We were greeted by a very nice server Dabney. She was very friendly and helpful in letting us know about the menu and the different sides and drinks. We ordered two appetizers the Prime roasted bone marrow and thick cut Bacon. They were both absolutely amazing. For main entree we ordered the Delmonico, the Cowboy, bone in Filet mignon (Oscar), seared scallops with saffron risotto. For sides we ordered the creamed spinach, asparagus, & fries. Also the bone marrow butter. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted so very good. We finished with cappuccino and the Panna Cotta (sorry no pic). Of course it didn't disappoint. Overall we had great service and an amazing food experience. They were very gracious about us being there so long catching up with our friends from out of town. We closed down the place and I thank them so much for not pushing us out. The Lewis Steakhouse gives you two prices on your bill, one if you pay with cash and one if you pay by credit card. what they don't tell you is that the extra charge for using your credit card is almost 6%. most people don't go to a restaurant like this with enough cash to pay the bill. nowhere does it say the extra charge is this high. it is irresponsible of them to do with without notifying you as a customer. it is a ripoff and they don't deserve your patronage because of the sneaky and outrageous charge. there are plenty of other good restaurants - don't go here. read more

Went here for my birthday and it was a pleasure! For a cocktail I had the Ginlet, wow made with yes, Gin and it was delicious, loved it I had the Delmonico Steak , was one Of the most delicious steaks I've had for some time. Tender , juicy and seasoned to perfection and grilled perfectly!! The baked potato-yummy! The bread , double delicious! Service was excellent too. But here's where they disappointed me. The salad .... The Gorgonzola and Caesar salad dressings were not very good , I say they need to work on both and make a big improvement because the dressings are just not cutting it I would have given a 5 star if it weren't for the salad!! I'm torn between 3 or 4 stars? The food is good, but is a bone-in ribeye really worth over $100? My total bill here for two opens up a comparable cost of flying anywhere in the eastern US for an evening out. I think I ordered about as best as I could to see what this place is all about. The bone in ribeye for me (did I mention over $100 with no dressings?), wifey chose the Palm Beach sirloin (the dollar menu option for this place) sides were amazing but of course pricey, creamed spinach and lobster mac and cheese. The steaks did each come with a potato option, we stuck with the baked potato but declined "loaded" for fear of a credit check, LOL . Likewise for salads, additional up-charges for anything other than house. I also had the french onion soup, which was probably the best I have had, so kudos there! Can't say the same for the steaks though. I have had better dry aged steaks at at least 2 other local places for $30-40 cheaper. Topped off with a half-bottle of no-name sparkling white something for $40 and the bill tipped the scales near $300 for two. No desert ordered (no option for me) and that's before tip too. Spent time filling out my reservation at Resy which was apparently not read. Special occasion was 30th Anniversary Dinner, special diet was noted as diabetic and server still brings out giant desert tray to tempt with zero sugar free (or even fruit?) options. Server asked if celebrating anything, we responded again 30th Anniv. I guess they ask, but it seems to mean nothing. I wasn't really expecting song & dance, but maybe something? If I go back, will not bother with top tier steaks, the standard ribeye or NY strip is prob no worse. Make a car payment or try this place for dinner, your choice. read more

You feel like you are being waited on by a five star establishment. It just takes a while to be waited on. The drinks are terrific, and the food is delicious, but at the end of the day, it is a basic steakhouse with basic sides. The one event they do that is special is they bring around a tray and explain all of the meat to you. We opted for two different kinds of meats with potatoes and vegetables for sides. We started with the clams casino which were quite tasty. If you are sitting at the bar, there are booths directly behind you so it gets very crowded. Definitely get a reservation if you are trying to make this a special night and ask to be set far away from the bar. The bar has nice big chairs but there's just not enough room for the servers to go behind them. I felt like I was part of everyone's conversation and in everyone's way even though we were sitting in a booth and trying to enjoy a nice dinner. I kept hearing waitresses and waiters say "Excuse me" or "behind you" or "pardon me" to all of the patrons standing in the way. It was very loud and disruptive. It's very expensive, and some will say it's worth it, but the atmosphere is harried. The food was very good, and it is close to us so the location is good, but I still think I would travel down to West Palm Beach for a different ambiance. They do have some tables outside, but there's no wait service out there, so you can grab a drink and sit outside while you wait for your table. read more

We tried the Lewis steakhouse last weekend with high hopes, and to be honest, we were not impressed. We ordered two medium rare filets with bearnaise sauce. First, the consistency of the bearnaise sauce was very thin and it didn't taste like I've had it a number of times at other steakhouses. My filet was closer to medium and my companion's was cooked medium rare. It was a thinner filet than I'd expected, closer in thickness to a sirloin. It had no char although it was extremely well seasoned, which was the only good thing about it! The waiter did not come by to check on us after we were served our entree. In fact, our entrees came out prior to our second round of drinks and prior to the appetizer being cleared. For the great expense of this dinner, I expect excellent service and excellent food. We will not likely return, except maybe for lunch to try the burger. If they season it like they season the steak, it's probably really good. read more

We Jane been waiting for this steakhouse to open. We have been long time patrons at the Okeechobee Steakhouse and were looking forward to the Jupiter location. We had a reservation for 5:00 PM and off to our anniversary dinner we go. Jordan was our server and did a great job. Very friendly and did a very professional job. The hostess sat us me CT's to the bar and it was VERY LOUD!!!! So much for a quiet dinner. There were many open tables not close to the bar we could of sat at but Naaaaa, put them close to the loud people!! As far as the food goes; the food was good and the steaks were very good. Too expensive but good. The price for the shrimp cocktail was CRAZY!!! The baked potato was goo but not hot enough to melt the butter I put on it. The mushrooms were right on point. We had the cheese cake for desert and it was still pretty frozen. Not a good thing. Overall, if they are going to charge the high prices for EVERYTHING, they need to up their game. We will go back but make sure to ask for Jordan, sit away from the bar, and n make sure to have Jordan make sure the food is hot and don't get the shrimp cocktail. I'll be sure to keep y'all posted.
