Went here for my birthday and it was a pleasure! For a cocktail I had the Ginlet, wow made with yes, Gin and it was delicious, loved it I had the Delmonico Steak , was one Of the most delicious steaks I've had for some time. Tender , juicy and seasoned to perfection and grilled perfectly!! The baked potato-yummy! The bread , double delicious! Service was excellent too. But here's where they disappointed me. The salad .... The Gorgonzola and Caesar salad dressings were not very good , I say they need to work on both and make a big improvement because the dressings are just not cutting it I would have given a 5 star if it weren't for the salad!! We Jane been waiting for this steakhouse to open. We have been long time patrons at the Okeechobee Steakhouse and were looking forward to the Jupiter location. We had a reservation for 5:00 PM and off to our anniversary dinner we go. Jordan was our server and did a great job. Very friendly and did a very professional job. The hostess sat us me CT's to the bar and it was VERY LOUD!!!! So much for a quiet dinner. There were many open tables not close to the bar we could of sat at but Naaaaa, put them close to the loud people!! As far as the food goes; the food was good and the steaks were very good. Too expensive but good. The price for the shrimp cocktail was CRAZY!!! The baked potato was goo but not hot enough to melt the butter I put on it. The mushrooms were right on point. We had the cheese cake for desert and it was still pretty frozen. Not a good thing. Overall, if they are going to charge the high prices for EVERYTHING, they need to up their game. We will go back but make sure to ask for Jordan, sit away from the bar, and n make sure to have Jordan make sure the food is hot and don't get the shrimp cocktail. I'll be sure to keep y'all posted. The Lewis Steakhouse gives you two prices on your bill, one if you pay with cash and one if you pay by credit card. what they don't tell you is that the extra charge for using your credit card is almost 6%. most people don't go to a restaurant like this with enough cash to pay the bill. nowhere does it say the extra charge is this high. it is irresponsible of them to do with without notifying you as a customer. it is a ripoff and they don't deserve your patronage because of the sneaky and outrageous charge. there are plenty of other good restaurants - don't go here. read more

I'm torn between 3 or 4 stars? The food is good, but is a bone-in ribeye really worth over $100? My total bill here for two opens up a comparable cost of flying anywhere in the eastern US for an evening out. I think I ordered about as best as I could to see what this place is all about. The bone in ribeye for me (did I mention over $100 with no dressings?), wifey chose the Palm Beach sirloin (the dollar menu option for this place) sides were amazing but of course pricey, creamed spinach and lobster mac and cheese. The steaks did each come with a potato option, we stuck with the baked potato but declined "loaded" for fear of a credit check, LOL . Likewise for salads, additional up-charges for anything other than house. I also had the french onion soup, which was probably the best I have had, so kudos there! Can't say the same for the steaks though. I have had better dry aged steaks at at least 2 other local places for $30-40 cheaper. Topped off with a half-bottle of no-name sparkling white something for $40 and the bill tipped the scales near $300 for two. No desert ordered (no option for me) and that's before tip too. Spent time filling out my reservation at Resy which was apparently not read. Special occasion was 30th Anniversary Dinner, special diet was noted as diabetic and server still brings out giant desert tray to tempt with zero sugar free (or even fruit?) options. Server asked if celebrating anything, we responded again 30th Anniv. I guess they ask, but it seems to mean nothing. I wasn't really expecting song & dance, but maybe something? If I go back, will not bother with top tier steaks, the standard ribeye or NY strip is prob no worse. Make a car payment or try this place for dinner, your choice. read more

You feel like you are being waited on by a five star establishment. It just takes a while to be waited on. The drinks are terrific, and the food is delicious, but at the end of the day, it is a basic steakhouse with basic sides. The one event they do that is special is they bring around a tray and explain all of the meat to you. We opted for two different kinds of meats with potatoes and vegetables for sides. We started with the clams casino which were quite tasty. If you are sitting at the bar, there are booths directly behind you so it gets very crowded. Definitely get a reservation if you are trying to make this a special night and ask to be set far away from the bar. The bar has nice big chairs but there's just not enough room for the servers to go behind them. I felt like I was part of everyone's conversation and in everyone's way even though we were sitting in a booth and trying to enjoy a nice dinner. I kept hearing waitresses and waiters say "Excuse me" or "behind you" or "pardon me" to all of the patrons standing in the way. It was very loud and disruptive. It's very expensive, and some will say it's worth it, but the atmosphere is harried. The food was very good, and it is close to us so the location is good, but I still think I would travel down to West Palm Beach for a different ambiance. They do have some tables outside, but there's no wait service out there, so you can grab a drink and sit outside while you wait for your table. read more

We tried the Lewis steakhouse last weekend with high hopes, and to be honest, we were not impressed. We ordered two medium rare filets with bearnaise sauce. First, the consistency of the bearnaise sauce was very thin and it didn't taste like I've had it a number of times at other steakhouses. My filet was closer to medium and my companion's was cooked medium rare. It was a thinner filet than I'd expected, closer in thickness to a sirloin. It had no char although it was extremely well seasoned, which was the only good thing about it! The waiter did not come by to check on us after we were served our entree. In fact, our entrees came out prior to our second round of drinks and prior to the appetizer being cleared. For the great expense of this dinner, I expect excellent service and excellent food. We will not likely return, except maybe for lunch to try the burger. If they season it like they season the steak, it's probably really good. read more

Not much to really brag about the prices are very high, which is fine for a steakhouse but when the food has no flavor, then yes, that's when i seem to scratch my head. My husband ordered a dry aged fillet bone in and he didn't even eat it because of how it has no flavor at all. Service wasn't that great either we had two servers for our table and they never cleared our plates that they were piled on the edge of the table. I probably won't come back here if I want to enjoy an expensive steak, I'll head to prime 112 in Miami. read more

Pros: limited but tasty and well priced happy hour menu. The steak sliders for $7 were fantastic. $5 wine also hit the spot. Service was good. Joe our server was on point, accommodated separate checks, and warned us when happy hour was almost over. Total thumbs up for Joe. :) Cons: We were a group of 6 women "of a certain age" coming for happy hour. We got there at 3:45pm. They first insisted on seating us at the bar. There was no way we could connect as a group that way so we asked for a table. Restaurant was nearly empty. Manager had to be consulted. He agreed and we were somewhat reluctantly given a table...the worst one in the house, right next to the kitchen, even though it was 3:45pm and literally every other table was open. Felt punitive. We enjoyed our food. Steak burgers came out luke warm, but cooked to order (i.e. med rare was served correctly). All in all I'd go back. But somewhat resented being treated as 2nd class because we were there for happy hour. We all ate, drank alcohol and tipped so not sure why we were demoted to the worst table in the house when literally every other table was available and it was not even 4pm. read more

Delicious steaks, apps, salads and desserts. We had the best service from JB. This was our first visit to Lewis. A family of 5 adults who don't drink alcohol but love our food and great service. Our waiter JB was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We booked a future reservation before we had our Salad course. I want this place to succeed. Our waiter was fabulous. Very pricy and extremely limited menu. No choices for vegetarians, dieters and limited choices for non meat eaters. Expectations were high when my husband chose the Lewis Steakhouse as the venue to celebrate his birthday, and we were definitely not disappointed. It was an extraordinary dinner in every way. Our waiter, Louis, was one of the finest servers I have ever experienced in my many years. He was welcoming, friendly but respectful, anticipated all of our needs, was totally knowledgeable regarding the menu and food prep, possessed impeccable timing, always there when needed, but never intruding into our privacy. Louis is a seasoned professional who clearly enjoys what he does for a living. We started with ice cold Chopin vodka and Beefeater gin martinis garnished with wonderful bar-made blue cheese stuffed olives. Amazing cheddar croissant-style buns served with chilled sweet butter soon followed. We each chose the 9 ounce filet mignon cooked rare-plus. The meat was perfectly prepared, flavorful and truly fork-tender. Included with steaks is a crisp fresh house salad with heirloom tomatoes, really good croutons, and choice of homemade dressing, as well as a choice of potato. My husband judged his fries excellent and I consider my mashed to be the best I've ever had, bar none. We also shared a generously sized side of outstanding creamed spinach. With our dinner we enjoyed an amazing bottle of Molly Dooker The Boxer Shiraz, selected from the restaurant's extensive wine offerings. A tempting dessert tray is offered but after such a feast, including seconds of the cheddar buns, we needed to take a pass. The Lewis Steakhouse is not inexpensive, but is an outstanding value considering the quality received. It is without question a five star dining experience. And remember, if he's available, don't forget to request Louis as your server. read more

The steak was very good, expensive but good. The ambiance is what I found to be lacking. With 150 dollar steaks on the menu I find it very unappealing to see the patrons dressed like they are shopping for a bag of fertilizer at Home Depot. The service in our case was very slow , even though it wasn't busy, we waited far too long for the steak to find its way to the table. Maybe that will change, but a dress code is needed. read more

I took 7 family members out to eat, all had steak up to Tomahawks and no complaints. Side note, I enjoy a glass of milk w/ a meal and they had. Surprisingly alot of places don't. Old school, ambience, classic bar, mahogany, dimly lit atmosphere giving it a flair of old man sitting around smoking cigars! That is not the case. Great food. The bartenders were amazingly funny while being professional, and always on top of everybody sitting at the bar, great service. My fillet was cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely. The side of asparagus was overwhelmingly, large and tasted delicious. The baked potato was hot full of extra fixings, and of course was extremely good. I was not from Florida so sitting at the bar watching regulars, gossip, chitchat, and interact with the bartender or should I say the 2 bartender interacted with them was rather amusing.
