    Hotel back yard.

The hotel restaurant has a simple menu with nightly specials. The menu items and specials are well thought out prepared. I'm always excited to see what the specials are because they are so well done. The service is always friendly. The full service bar and restaurant are on the ground floor of the hotel. You can eat in the bar, out on the deck or in the small dining room. Make sure you come early enough to enjoy a drink on the back yard which slopes down to the Trinity river.

Taco Tuesday on the dog patio!

We went for Taco Tuesday to see if it lives up to the hype, and it does! There's a lovely side/back patio, which is DOG FRIENDLY so we took our 80+ pound pointers. The dogs had fresh, cool water and received tons of compliments. The view from the patio overlooks the back lawn and it's at the river's edge... tempting. But on this particular warm summer evening we focused on the dollar tacos. They're street taco size so order a bunch. I tried pork and chicken, both were delicious. No weird, chewy pieces of meat. Tons of flavor. Good spicy salsa, onions, cheese and cilantro. There's also a potato option for the vegetarian people. I can't comment on the interior because I spent my whole time outside. Servers were efficient and friendly. Would go again!

Such a charming place! We had a simple but delicious dinner including a great burger and also a great Beyond Burger. Amazing history. Super charming. And they have good internet which is hard to find in this area. I want to stay here overnight next time around.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Lewiston hotel this year. The peaceful sounds of nature are perfect for just catching a breath and relaxing. Our visit in June was filled with floating down the river, running through the sprinklers, playing outdoor games and enjoying the delicious meals and drinks while listening to a live band play. What a great time at the Lewiston Hotel, definitely recommend. Bring sunblock and bug spray if you'll be doing things outdoors.

Absolutely amazing hotel, bar, and restaurant! We got the cobb salad and vege burger and it was incredible food! Great for meat eaters AND vegetarians! The atmosphere Is so special and unique and you feel like home right when you walk through the doors! Definitely will be back! Also got to play music there and had the best crowd and audience we've ever had. The room was so comfy with a beautiful view of the river which we had our coffee next to when we woke up. Unforgettable full harvest moon and wouldn't have picked a better place to enjoy it!!

This hotel has a special place in my heart during my 3-month internship in Trinity County. I had the pleasure of living in Lewiston with my intern partner & we discovered the hotel on our first weekend here. Little did we know that it'd be our local hangout & our place to get free wifi! We loved hanging out at the bar with all the locals & soon became locals ourselves! The drinks at the bar are very affordable & there's always good company to be had. You can hang outside in the patio area or head to the lawn & down to the river. My then-boyfriend knew how much I loved this place that he ended up proposing to me here during my return trip after moving back to the Bay Area! He had a few of my local friends help him with the proposal & he proposed on the lawn dressed as a knight walking a real white horse up to me! We stayed at the hotel during our return visit & it was quite affordable & the experience of living in a piece of history is awesome :)

I just spent some time in the very historic town of Lewiston, California and was able to visit the Lewiston Hotel which is under new management. The hotel is being remodeled but the owners have worked hard to keep the historic charm of this very rare gem that overlooks the beautiful Trinity river. Everything about this area is beautiful and the owners are very welcoming. The bar has such a rustic charm to it with a large variety of drinks and absolutely amazing food. Will definitely visit in the future.

All very clean and well appointed. The real highlight is the expansive patio and infinity pool. Cabana area nice as well. This was an evening event, and chilly so was lovely until weather changed. Beautiful view to the east. The 4 stars reflect the dirt, narrow road getting there and thankful for the golf cart escort or we would not have been able to get to the house from parking area, which is a bit downhill. After a discussion about the services she offered, we did a lap around the expo to discuss our thoughts and both agreed Jessie felt like the right fit for our wedding. We immediately returned and booked her for our desired date, which was the first reservation we made for our wedding (even before the venue!). I am so glad we did! Jessie has been amazing to work with. She is so kind and communicative. She wrote us a beautiful ceremony that really fit us and our wants. She gave great options for things that we could include in the ceremony if we wanted and even created a special hand blessing for us based on a different tradition we had mentioned we thought was cool. I loved that she kept some of the ceremony script a surprise until the ceremony itself as it made it feel even more special and impactful to me. We invited Jessie to stay for the remainder of our wedding, and she fit right in with our family and friends. She added a lot of positive energy and love to a magical day. Our guests all loved her and made many positive comments about her ceremony and her as a person. In addition to officiating, we also asked Jessie to lead a morning yoga class on the morning of the wedding. Again, we are so happy we did! I enjoy yoga but don't do it as frequently as I should, and I was on the fence about attending because I was starting to get stressed about wedding logistics. I decided to go, and it was exactly what I needed. Her class was appropriate for all levels, so I didn't feel pressured to do something that was too difficult. Those who are more advanced had options to do things at their level too. After I felt so calm and ready to take on anything that came my way, which significantly helped with my ability to be in the moment for the wedding and let go of control of all the logistics (something I struggle with). All our family in attendance loved the class, including my Mother In Law that is a yoga teacher herself. If you are considering taking her class or having her lead one at your event, do it! We also have been working with Jessie on resilient relationship coaching. It has been very helpful so far in deepening our understanding of each other, supporting each others personal growth, and improving the communication issues we have struggled with over the years. It can be very hard for me to be vulnerable in front of others, but Jessie creates a loving and accepting space that makes it possible to be open and honest in our sessions. Since we are not in the area, we have been able to do the sessions via Zoom, which has been very convenient. Our experience with Jessie has been very positive and we would both highly recommend her to anyone looking for officiating, coaching, or yoga. In fact, I have already recommended her coaching to a family member.
