We were happy to dine here after steelhead fishing on the Trinity with friendly service, a nice bar, big TVs for watching football and a fun group of customers. 12/6/25 Attended for a catered 90th birthday event! I fell ill that very night. I then realized I had food poisoning from the food. Our relative went to the hospital & was diagnosed with the Norovirus. 28 of 48 in our party fell ill. Our event planner was disregarded by the staff after calling in to tell what had happened. There was no concern or care about all the elders who fell ill. No offer to make it right by reimbursing the party. We will not return. read more

This is the new golf and restaurant in Weaverville. Owned and run by local citizens, it reflects community pride and friendliness. Tables all have nice views, the food is very good, pricing is fair, and the bar is great. Golf course is a challenging 9-hole loop with fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Very pleasant patio by the putting green makes for entertaining and peaceful atmosphere. read more

On December 6th, 2025 we attended an event here, approximately 28 out of the 48 people that attended the event came down with food poisoning. One of the affected went to the hospital to get tested and found out it was Norovirus. When the event planner called this establishment, they did not offer condolences, refused to take responsibility, and did not offer any money back. This is four Weaverville stars, graded on a curve. If you're looking for a steak in town, this is your place. Atmosphere here is comfortable--think any public golf course restaurant in the USA. It's decorated with some nice local artwork, which is for sale, if you fall in love with a particular piece! Cloth napkins and wood tables. Lighting is dim. The service is extraordinary! Our server worked really hard to get us cocktails, additional appetizers, etc. we had 10 hungry anglers who were pretty demanding, and she handled us with aplomb. The food is pretty good. Most of us had the ribeye, which was perfectly cooked whether ordered medium or medium-rare. We had The potato skins, calamari and feta garlic fries for appetizers. The skins were excellent. The steak came with a salad which was your standard green salad and very fresh. Unfortunately, they were out of prime rib, so get there early on Friday or Saturday night if you want some! They were also out of the soup when we were there. The ribeye with salad potatoes and veggies was $26. Good value. So, if you're looking for a slightly upscale dinner in Weaverville, this is your option! read more

Went there again Thursday sept 12. First the wait staff is awesome and very friendly. Unfortunately this day I ordered a pizza for the first time. First one was the wrong pizza, they quickly made the correct one done in 7 min. Got home And all edges were burnt. But bacon was raw, onions raw, mushrooms raw, chicken chunks were a frozen product, not real grilled chicken. Other family got a burger, 9 garlic fries in container and burger was obviously a frozen patty. So disappointed, unedible. What happened? Use to be fresh good food. please do better. read more

Perfect bar food after 9 holes. Nice location, nice people (especially Robina), and yummy food. We had fish & chips, sweet potato fries and a wedge salad. All were outstanding. Many of the draft beers were local, delicious and priced nicely. We will stop here next trip, for sure. read more

So we made reservations yesterday with them for their Mother's day special they were having . Everything was all set for 2:00 . Well when we got there it didn't seem very festive to be a mother's day lunch at all, first we was told we could sit anywhere so we picked a table and had to wipe all the crumbs off ourselves. Then when approached for our drink orders we asked if they had any special drinks to go with the special meals they were serving for that day and the server said what lunch special we only had breakfast and dinnerspecials for mother's day and that they wouldn't start doing that until 4:00pm and that breakfast was over all ready. I asked why would they make a reservation at 2:00 for us if we clearly asked for the mother's day reservations the day before. All they could say is they weren't going to do all that right now. Proceeded to go in the back and argue with someone about setting my reservations up the day before to which a man replied I did not . So then the server comes back to the table to finally take our drink order and so we asked her if they had a drink menu to which we were met with a quick nope and she couldn't even recommend a drink. We ordered off their regular menu. None of us finished our food and when it came time to pay the check. We had the server and another lady come approach the table with excuse on why they couldn't serve us the specials . I hope they are happy my son still left them a tip, when I for sure didn't feel they deserved anything. Actually I felt like they should have payed for our meal or at least discount it for their stupid mistake. Happy Mothers day to me . read more

I would call this a public country club. The food is better than you would expect for breakfast, brunch and dinner (been 3x) Breakfast is like great diner food, and wayyyy too much to possibly finish. Could/should have split it. Service was good, patio was nice, it was much better than I was expecting. Brunch was a similar story, we lingered and weren't pressured which was nice. Place was full but service was still good. Food was not health fare, tons of cheese and sauce etc. if you want to waddle out, this is the place.... the potato special is fit for two.... Dinner was old school fare. We ordered rib eye (mr) and scampi and shared. Steak was cooked perfectly almost like a sous vida but clearly not. Scampi is almost always a disappointment unless it's perfect. I would say this was better than average, not overcooked, but wholly drowned in butter. And face it, 5 shrimp can not compete with a rib eye for filling power.... Scalloped potatoes were really delicious, not mushy and not hard either. Wild rice was done right with a little tooth left in it. Vegetables were a good mix and fresh but too oily so they lost their identity. Dry braised they would have been a perfect compliment. Dirty martini was wayyyy too dirty and shaken to death.... so, stick to a simpler bar order. read more

The food was not bad, but none of us were impressed with any of the items we chose. Service was hectic and that same time lacking attention. There is a lot of potential for this location. They have a strong menu and plenty of choices. Unfortunately execution of the final product does not meet expectations. Everyone in Weaverville mourned when Johnson's restaurant closed (the former restaurant in this location). We almost cried at the thought of losing one of the best restaurants in this small town. I have great memories of the coconut shrimp tacos and the amazing, gargantuan burgers... So, I was elated to find out that a new restaurant would be opening this summer in its place!! I went on opening night and twice more in the weeks that followed. I'll cut to the chase. The food is really good here. Especially for such a small town like Weaverville. Although I was baffled on my first couple of visits because I had to ask for a knife (only a spoon and fork were rolled in a napkin), I have thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. A special props to Rachel, the manager, who is super friendly and tries to remember your name. Gives a great small-town feel to this restaurant. Okay, the food: Bacon blue burger- ahhh so good. Made with a homemade brioche bun, caramelized onions, delicious blue cheese, and thick bacon. I had dreams about this burger after our first meeting. And I have eaten many a burger in my lifetime. And don't even get me started on the onion rings. They the real deal. Duck breast- nice. Although needed to be rendered down a bit more: gave the feedback to the waitress and she was happy to hear it. Ribs: Left a lot to be desired. Bbq sauce was mediocre and the ribs did not fall off the bone like they are supposed to. In the end: this place is still new and finding its footing. I will keep coming back to see what they change and what they keep. Overall, I am so happy that Weaverville had a nice restaurant, especially after La Grange closed down. read more

The Sacramento Valley Region Porsche Club (SVR-PCA) driving tour to Trinity County enjoyed 2 outstanding dinners on the back patio. The atmosphere was wonderful, complete with deer wandering across the golf course. We enjoyed a pasta buffet one night and BBQ chicken & tri tip the second night. All 34 of our club members enjoyed the food and the outstanding service. We will be back and whole heartedly recommend this spot for other car clubs touring the area! read more

What difference 3 years makes! Four of us dined here Saturday evening. We were seated promptly. We brought 2 bottles of wine and our server brought glasses right away along with water. The menu is extensive with lots of choice. We started with appetizers of fried green beans and hot wings and both were delicious. I decided to have the Jalapeno burger which was cooked perfectly and very tasty. My dining compadres had the salmon which was great, the pasta primavera which was also very good. The only down side was some of the food came from the kitchen luke warm like the chowder and the prawns. After a quick reheat all was well. The prawns were a bit over battered but other than that the meal was great. Our server Naomi was delightful and funny and spot on with service. It is nice to have this option in Weaverville as La Grange has closed again. We will be back. read more

My wife and I go to the golf course restaurant pretty often. We are always happy with our food and the service. The breakfasts are awesome as well as the lunches and dinners. We are definitely satisfied with each meal. I love the blue cheese burger and the fish tacos. Their tortilla soup is awesome too. The blackened ahi has some great flavors and is cooked perfectly. A bit too spicy for me, but still has awesome flavors. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal at a decent price. read more
