Small local theater in Addison. Average facilities but a enjoyable experience and great option close by for community.

Have seen 3 performances now at WTT and am very much looking forward to the next one. Great location, great talent and fun for all ages.

Review Highlights - Water Tower Theatre

I live in east Dallas, so the drive to Addison is probably my least favorite thing about Water Tower Theater.

The seating is arranged so that you have a good view of the stage no matter where you sit. Service: Very attentive and friendly staff. Food: The charcuterie board and cheesecake are really good! They always put on amazing shows!

My Mom has since passed and my Dad brought the family this year for Christmas and now we understand why they've been around so long! This was such a fun experience. The music was amazing, the acting was wonderful for all ages of the cast and the service was great. Make sure to come early and have a bite to eat before the show. This venue is amazing and we felt right at home. There isn't a bad seat in the house. We arrived too late for dinner service but enjoyed the chip and dip trio and the sundae. The live band was a great addition to the cast and crew and clearly there is tremendous attention to detail in these shows. Can't wait to come back!

Came here on Valentines day to see the play "Slave Letters: The Lives of Slaves in Their Own Words"…read more If you haven't checked out this performance, you ought to check it out! The performance by the cast is worthy of a Tony award! This review is more about the Stone Cottage Theater which is part of the Addison Conference and Theater Center. It is a small building that is one of Addison's historic structures that has been renovated and I believe can hold up-to 55 people. The check-in lady was really friendly and offered us free chocolate and roses for valentines. You can also buy snacks and drinks at the check-in desk before the show or during intermission. The Good: ------------- Very intimate setting, small crowd, lighting effects are great for a small theater production. There is a parking lot close by if you get early. You can also park by the street nearby if the main parking lot is full. Can do Better: ------------------- The plastic cushion-less seats are a back breaker for those long theatrical performances. My butt and back were hurting after being seated for almost 2 hours watching the above reference play. They may need to get cushioned seats! Also, the signage pointing to this small cottage may need to be a little bigger. Wife and I were not sure where the Stone Cottage building was since there are two theaters in the same location. There is small sign by a rock, but this can be overlooked.

I really like the intimate setting where you can almost touch the performers! Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are available for whatever price you are willing to donate. Tonight we saw A Bur-Less-Q Nutcracker. It was hilarious! The jokes are always funny and a bit racy. Unfortunately, I was not able to get a pickle-on-a-stick (they ran out before they got to me). This spot is definitely worth coming to over and over!

Just love the covered parking that makes it so easy to get in and out and what a production Mary Poppins was. You guys! This is such a nice treat for the whole family with VERY reasonably priced tickets. We have see many a production, but this was just as awesome an experience in a different way. When you watch your daughter engage with the music and see her pure joy during the whole performance....you think, "Who needs Broadway?" We enjoyed ourselves immensely and our girl got to get a pic with Miss Poppins herself after the show.

You're in willow bend mall & it does have air conditioning so I can't understand why they couldn't cool it off for the full house of patrons. The worst part was the seats. You felt like you were sitting on the floor. You literally had to plop into the seat. It was as if they were made for children and not adults. We had hip pain just sitting there. Had to get up during the performance because of the pain. I hope the new location gets better seats & heating/cooling system. I went to a shows this winter there where you literally had to wear a coat because it was so cold.

We all booked online and were able to pick which lamp we wanted to design. I chose the swan lamp. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and once checked in we got situated at a table with a few other guests. I am in love with the space. First off, it's in a business area, and on a Sunday, there was no one else around. My GPS had difficulty finding the exact spot but once I had the suite number it was easy to find. When we walked in you could see how bright and airy this space is. Before the start of class, we had time to chit chat and walk around to get ideas for our lamps. Our teacher (I think her name was Oun?) was super sweet and walked us through each step. The first step is laying out your design. We were served Turkish coffee and a Turkish treat, (for an extra charge) during this step. During the step where we glue on the tiles we were served the pomegranate tea that came with the price of the class. At the end of our 2+ hours we were given instructions on how to make the cement to seal all the mosaic tiles in and once I do that, I will post photos of my finished product. We all had a blast and would 100000% recommend coming here to get artsy.
