After discussing the planned install extensively over email and phone the tech showed up and said they could not do the in-wall wiring on a plaster wall... frustrating given that they said they could "definitely" do it when I booked the appointment. Then after doing a basic install instead the tech overcharged me by $50 - when I questioned why the price wasn't the same as listed on the website they said I had to request that pricing ahead of time (which wasn't possible because I was booked for a different kind of install that the tech couldn't deliver on). I also contacted the owner of the business requesting a refund for the overcharge and was denied. Underpromised and overcharged. read more

I got my parents a new tv and soundbar for Christmas and decided to have the tech guyz to mount it and hook it all up. I wasn't there when he came to install but he was very friendly to my parents and made sure everything was hooked up and running smoothly. He made sure to explain how everything works to my parents so they know how to use the tv. A day later there was an issue with the soundbar and he came back right away to fix the problem. I just purchased a new samsung tv and sound bar last week but I knew I wanted to have it set up where you weren't able to see all the wiring. I found the Tech Guyz on Yelp since they had great reviews and I can see why! JJ and Benji came to do the set up for me and they did an awesome job!!! All the wiring was hidden. They made it to where the wiring came behind my closet and the cable boxes are hidden in my closet! So cool!!! I purchased a custom remote which allows me to control everything with just one remote. For years I have been plagued with spotty wifi reception in my old two-level San Francisco home. When I called the Tech Guyz they immediately understood the problem, indicated that it could be resolved and sent one their technicians, Lex, to my home to evaluate the issue. Lex did amazing work! I was truly paranoid about the weight and the metal studs. I have a 65" Samsung TV, with an articulating mount. 5/8" sheetrock, with metal framing. Originally, I was going to attempt to hang it myself, but was concerned about the integrity of the walls. All of my concerns were relieved. Lex patiently answered my questions demonstrating how knowledgeable he is when it comes to AV installation. I'm very happy with the results and the professionalism he and his team provided. The guys installed 3 televisions and a sound bar for me in my new place here in San Francisco. The 70 inch tv, in particular, they did a fantastic job with as the tv is older so much heavier than the newer models. It definitely took a little extra muscle to get it in the right place. They took their time and made sure the tvs location was just right (made sure on each to get the ok from us).
