Upon entering, there is a large slope upwards into the room itself, but it's actually kind of a nice warm up, especially if you're going in for a class! There's a lovely "getting ready" area right before you hit the dance floor... and the dance floor... it's amazing. Large room, tons of mirrors. It's one of my favorites. Classes are held here daily in yoga, belly dance, and more. They also sell belly dance and performance costumes and outfits that span a wide range of colors and sizes.

All of this harassment because I stated I felt uncomfortable at the studio in January 2022 and she perceived my actions as rude. We were able to make the spy-themed potluck recently (my Kentucky-born sweetheart is not a dance addict), and there was plenty of salsa. I was lucky to get fun dances with most of the leaders in the room, including Reena, her husband Abel (who also handles the music), her mom April, and Amanda. A friendly welcome (especially when you're not a regular) really makes a difference!

I have taken many classes with them and I have always had a blast. They have great instructors who make learning easy and fun. It is the only Cuban owned Salsa studio in town and the only place where you can learn authentic Rueda de Casino, a fun Cuban group dance. And the great thing is that you don't even need a partner to participate. I only wish they would have more Open Social Dance nights on a regular basis. They are great for a fun night out!
