Always have to have the Lamb Mashawi Bbq. The meat is always juicy and delicious! My boyfriend loves the chicken kabob plate and the rice which says a lot since he is so picky when it comes to spices! They are always so nice and helpful when I come in. Two stars because I haven't received my order yet and I will feel bad if the food is amazing. However, if the food is amazing it will be only the high point. Came in at 6:45 pm and ordered chicken shawarma and Philly cheesesteak. 28 minutes (and counting) later....no food. Only a sheepish shrug from the teenager behind the counter who mumbled something about this being a really busy time. To be clear, the wait is bad. But I understand things happen, I've worked behind a counter too. But when things are bad I expect to see employees hustling frantically, I expect it to be made clear to me that they are very sorry for the wait . None of those things are happening; honestly it's like they're stoned. Nope, no more - we really enjoyed this place when it first opened, even met the owners then. But the last two times have lost us from coming anymore. One order online and half the order was wrong. Then in person, we stood in front of the counter for over 7 mins before any of the 5 people working even looked at us or acknowledged our presence and when the one kid did, no sorry or thanks for waiting. BUT the kicker was when I asked for the salad with no bell peppers or onions just lettuce and tomatoes he flat out said to me "Oh we don't put those in the salad" - the place was empty and it took 40 minutes to get our food - we took it home and again our order was half wrong and a salad of nothing but bell peppers and onions - ugh so half of the food in the garbage No longer worth the wait or price for incorrect orders and food I can't even eat. PS - face shields are not worn up over ones head like a baseball cap like two of the staff wear wearing incorrectly and nothing covering their mouths the entire time we were there. read more

I was eager to try Leyla due to the positive reviews but unfortunately today was not very positive. We ordered 2 gyro plates were it had basically lots of rice with crumbs of meat, I wished that quantities to be equal or at least more meat. Taste was ok given that it was cold and not so fresh. Also hummus doesn't taste very well maybe its made from powder. As I ordered takeout I also missed a a side and received a side that I didn't order. read more

As a Syrian-American, I was very excited to see this restaurant opening up in cedar Park. I ordered the mezza plate which is hummus, a grape leaf, hummus, some cucumber salad, falafel and some type of bread/thin pita. Almost everything was too salty. The tabuleh was inconsistent in ingredients. Falafel was over cooked and salty. Hummus has no flavor. The grape leaf was soggy. Disappointed for sure. read more

We are never tired from their food! Delicious, fresh, clean! Lamb cooked to perfection, no smell! Meats are seared and cooked in their proper level. We Love Layla's, our favorite thing to have is their special which is any of their wraps, fries and a drink for $9.99, prices have gone up. Our favorite wrap is the Fried Chicken Zinger it's made with Chicken, Jalapenos, Romaine and Tomatoes. Drizzled with a Jalapeno Cream sauce. The fries have a spices sprinkled on top and are to die for. We also get the fried Okra. It's very yummy. read more

If anyone has less than a 5 for Leyla's, they're wrong about it and don't pay any attention to it. This is the BEST MEDITERRANEAN FOOD I have found in Austin. Everything about this place rocks. The service, the prices, and especially for the amount of food that you get for how much you pay. I could easily make three meals out of one for $10 here! I can't wait to tell other people from Round Rock to make the trip. Their flavors are phenomenal, and they've only been open two months. If it takes longer to get the food, it's because, HELLO, they are preparing it with love. So so good! We have been anxiously waiting for Leyla's to open and we weren't disappointed tonight. I called in takeout and got my husband a gyro combo and I got the gyro plate. We also tried the okra and kibbeh. All of it was great!! The rice, the salad, the HUMMUS my god it's good! The only thing that could improve is the fries but let's be honest - you don't go to a great Mediterranean place for the fries. I forgot to grab my nutroll and baklava but I'll make sure to get it next time! read more

We placed a phone order today, whoever answered the phone was not very friendly and did not seem to be interested in our order. We ordered a gyro wrap and a beef shawarma plate. When we got home we discovered that the gyro wrap was nothing more than some ground beef and lettuce inside a piece of pita bread. The beef shawarma was the same tasteless beef (I had never seen shawarma fixed with ground beef). The beef over overly dry rice. There was no difference on gyro and the shawarma beef dishes. We just could not finish the food - it was awful. We will never go back. read more

Took my daughter here for lunch on Sunday 2/2/20. She's only had this type of fare once, so she's learning. The young men working gave her a sample of the chicken shwarma, which made her almost regret her gyro choice. Next time! The grape leaves were really good. We both enjoyed our gyros, and she learned how to actually say it properly. She wanted to try the Turkish coffee, but she didn't like it. I, however, loved it! She's more of a tea girl. We topped off with the basic baklava, it was so good. Not too sticky or too sweet, just exactly what we both wanted.
