I had already visited two other stores that same day, and at both locations I personally handled my diamond and placed it back into its packaging myself. Unfortunately, my experience at this location was very different. The employee handled the diamond while helping me put it back into the bag. After I returned home and examined the stone again, I noticed that it appeared significantly different from the diamond I had brought in, including visible damage and characteristics that raised serious concerns for me about whether it was the same stone. I cannot say publicly that I know exactly what happened, but given the sequence of events, I was extremely uncomfortable with the situation. What should have been a straightforward jewelry-selling experience left me feeling distrustful and disappointed. For me, the biggest issue is trust. When someone brings a valuable item into a professional jewelry establishment, they should be able to leave confident that the exact item they brought in is the item they leave with. I expected professionalism, transparency, and integrity, and unfortunately that was not my experience here. I would strongly encourage anyone bringing valuable jewelry to any jeweler to document their items carefully beforehand and maintain control of their property whenever possible.
