My sister and I decided to try this place after seeing their smoothies all over social media. We were so excited to go and we drove about 40 min for it. The place itself and ambience was very clean, fresh and bright. We ordered the Hollywood blvd. and La Jolla smoothies. We added the coconut whip that gets striped on the sides to both of our smoothies. We mentioned no cashews in the La Jolla smoothie due to an allergy. We did not want to make it a big deal so we did not even say it was an allergy. But the nice gentlemen working there asked if the cashew was an allergy to which we disclosed it was. He offered to make the smoothies in allergen free/separate blenders which we appreciated. The smoothies were both so good. The smoothies had quality ingredients you can taste. We loved it and it was exactly what we were looking for in the suburbs. The woman working with him is where we took off the two stars from this review. She seemed incredibly bothered about the whole allergen blender situation, or it could be she was just annoyed by us customers instead. Not sure what was wrong. Even the tone of voice to which she called out our smoothies sounded snobby, sarcastic and annoyed. My sister and I thanked her many times and it was very obvious by her sarcastic "You're welcome" that something was bothering her. Whether it was the allergy thing, my sister and I being there or something else, her vibes and attitude really brought everything down. I would love to recommend the place for their delicious smoothies and juice. Unfortunately, that woman working there on March 25, 2024 at around 11-11:30am overshadowed the experience and made us feel unwelcome and never to return again or recommend it to others. read more

Disappointing service and low quality shakes. I used to come here regularly pre COVID. Stopped by to grab a smoothie for someone staying with a loved one at the nearby Lake Forest hospital. Parking is limited. Storefront is not easily visible from the street, as it is inside another building. I purchased 2 smoothies and what I thought was a banana muffin (it was cinnamon). The Palm Beach Smoothie had chunks of fruit and the pumpkin pie one was overloaded with cinnamon it was hard to drink. When I stopped by after a full day at the hospital, they said there was nothing they could do it so much time had passed. For $35, it was a complete waste. I will not be going back. read more

Was working around the area and decided to stop by... best decision I ever made the shop is clean and the staff is Very polite I chose a smoothie by the name of Nashville that reminds of the ones my father would make me as a child!! This quaint little smoothie place is located inside a suite. It's a small little shop with a fee parking spaces in front but there's more free parking in the parking lot like a minute away. There are a couple of seats inside if you want to eat there but it's more of a grab and go type place. They have signs up letting you know that prices are currently high because of the price of produce and unfortunately the price isn't worth it for this place. The staff isnt very friendly. I tried asking questions and asking for their opinions and they brushed me off and just wanted me to order. They do use fresh ingredients but the smoothie I had didn't quite taste right. It wasn't refreshing. There are better smoothie places available for better prices. read more

The 2 delightful Ladies (sarcasm intended) that open the store are there 1/2 hour late almost every single day. Would love to tell the owner or talk to a manager. But your machine doesn't accept messages and I have a feeling my MANY messages about the falsified store hours are NOT getting passed on to anyone in charge. It's got spinach, pineapple chunks, strawberries, vanilla protein powder, coconut milk, honey and banana. Such a sweet and healthy tasting combination. They also have really great protein bars (oats, dates, peanut butter, maple, vanilla protein powder, cashews). So good and very filling! Love this new location too! The service is great, but there isn't any seating available. Love coming here when I come in to town. My favorite açaí bowls by far! The açaí texture is perfectly blended here so it's not too watery or to icy but just right. I love the variety of toppings that are available from oats, to fresh fruit, almond butter, and much more. The staff is always friendly and fairly quick with getting your order out. I wandered into this place after a networking meeting. it's the only cold pressed juicer in Illinois. the vegetables and fruit that they use are all organic and pesticides free. the blends may change daily because the only use the best produce available. I tried to beat red apple and celery it was fantastic and also the kale spinach cilantro cucumber celery lemon ginger and Apple blend also just fantastic. I was really excited to have found this place! I shop at the Jewel next door and it's an easy 1min walk next door for some juice to take home! I was pleased to find out that everything is organic, and that they use glass - returnable bottles. You give a small deposit per bottle and get it back when you return. So much better than other juice operations that use non organic, or that use plastic bottles. I also like that in addition to the preprepared juices, they will do custom combinations on demand while you wait. I know some places I like in NYC only do the pre-made, which was annoying. My wife and I got several different cold press juices to go, and they were great. We also noticed that they have a full smoothie bar, fresh made almond milk, and several other unique things. We are planning to make this our destination for afternoon walks - with a healthy treat at the end. Great job JF Juice - will be seeing you soon! read more

I had high hopes for this place that were soon let down by the poor quality of food, service, and sanitary measures. The smoothie bowl "Palm Springs" was served to me overflowing and watery, when I tried it there was little flavor besides a subtle hint of peanut butter the only thing that made it good was the toppings that they touched with their dirty hands because they didn't wear gloves or wash their hands between smoothies and smoothie bowls. The service was fast but the workers seemed flustered and very unorganized like they didn't know what was going on. As far and sanitary measures go I watched them rinse out blenders with only water and use them again, pick apart fruit with grimy long nails and not wash their hands. This place had little seating and was hard to find if you didn't live in the town, overall lake forest juice is not worth the money or the drive. read more
