Cotton candy
Karen M.

Loved, loved loved our shakes! My grandson got the cotton candy and I got a butterbeer. We loved them and even though it was huge....and I mean huge...I pretty much finished all of mine. The seven year old was not even close. Both of these with all the flavors and the toppings were so good! I just can't say enough. The service was wonderful. The place is adorable! We sat outside to eat ours! The hardest part was making a decision and just so you know, there are a lot of choices on the menu!

My second extreme milkshake adventure in Columbus. I have heard they can be very busy and have long wait times. Maybe it was raining that day and it's near Halloween so I luck out and did not have to wait long. It's a small shop but they do have around 4 tables for seating. They have an extensive menu with different ice cream flavors, and salty food too like popcorns and finger snacks. You are not able to choose the toppings for your milkshake but if there's a certain toppings that you do not want (like whipped cream in my case), do tell them. After looking through their different varieties of milkshake, I decided to get the butter beer (Harry Potter fan). It's a limited shake and it was nice that they are able to do it today! It taste like caramel but it's not overly sweet which is a good thing. They added jelly bean to the bottom of the cup so there's sweet surprises when you sip the milkshake. It's then topped with mini donuts, chocolate chip caramel brownie(I think), popcorn, chocolate and more jelly beans. And also, a Harry Potter card and glasses(that's not shown but hidden at the back). So much toppings for $15 and you get to keep the cup too. Their toppings do change depending on the availability. It was a nice experience for me and insta-worthy~ I feel the price is decent compared to the other milkshake place I visit before as they did not use disposable cup and they put a variety of different toppings to try to stack their toppings till mountain-high which makes it look like extreme milkshake. FYI- Do follow them on social media like Facebook as they run promotions every now and then. Also, they charge a fee for credit card use. It's street parking only and do not park at the large bus zone in front of the shop strip as you may get ticket.

You can add this place to your own list of desserts places. I totally have loved their huge selection of items to order from, that makes me want to come back and try all of them. It's run by a small family of mother and daughter and they do offer cash discounts. Secondly you can keep the glass in which you get ice-creams or sundaes which is pretty cool!

The peanut butter sundae and the cookie dough sundae.

Today my boyfriend and I went to the shop on a hot summers day. I must say that the cookie dough sundae was better than I expected because it had a variety of textures and flavors... not your usual confection. My boyfriend liked his peanut butter cup sundae. It truly hit the spot. We're definitely coming back to share an extreme shake -- I had food fomo! (Although today 90% of them were sold out anyway). The one downside is that there is limited seating... which is outside... in the sun, so we stood near the door of the record shop next door.

Menu item that I ordered Vs What I was served.

Every now and again, I will order just dessert from a food delivery service. Found this place. Their menu looked so promising. I ordered two mini donut desserts. Specifically chose two that were made with powdered sugar donuts (according to their menu descriptions) because I am not a fan of Cinnamon. Like at all. Well, what we received was not only poor quality but it was not as described. Both were made with Cinnamon donuts as opposed to the described powdered sugar donuts. Aside from the overwhelming Cinnamon taste, the donuts were dry and very sad. Won't be choosing them for my splurge desserts again

After eating at La Tavola, we decided that we wanted dessert elsewhere. I pulled up Yelp and searched for dessert spots in Columbus, OH. This business was advertised, so I looked through the reviews and pictures. It totally looked like an experience. I showed the hubs and he was totally interested, so we drove about 15 minutes to this spot. Parking is cumbersome. We ended up parking in a neighborhood and were totally scared that the car would be towed. Upon entrance there were only two patrons inside eating so we came at a great time. I ordered the Smores Galore Extreme Sundae and my hubby ordered the Turtle Cheesecake Extreme Sundae. Please be aware that it took the two young ladies working the counter 15 minutes to make our order. So if there is a line, you will be waiting a long time to get your order taken and completed. Once we received our order, I was overwhelmed, but in a good way. I didn't know where to to start. The toasted marshmallow was so good and the cheesecake, brownies, chocolate, and ice cream were scrumptious. It was so much dessert and kind of pricey, but it was worth the experience. Overall we both gave our desserts 5/5 stars. I would definitely recommend this dessert spot for those looking to try something new and delicious, but be sure to go at a time when they are not too busy or else you will be waiting a long time to be served.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Sundae

wow. the menu here is the biggest i've ever seen. it's definitely bigger than what you're imagining right now. it took us quite some time to decide what to get because everything looked willy wonka tasty. the girls there were so patient with us as we narrowed our list. the shop is small, so don't count on seating inside, but it's nestled in a bunch of cute shops so if you can walk and eat, i think that would be more fun anyway. this sundae was so unique and amazing! loved all the layers of texture and flavor. next time we're back im just hoping i can convince my partner to split a waffle or milkshake with me (:

this place deserves a 5 stars!! me and my gf went right when they opened. seemed pretty small and moderate sound but always love to support a family business! a lot of options to choose from. i got a cookie monster extreme sundae and my gf got a regular c&c milkshake. it was a lot of food to take in lol. before we were heading off, the lady at the counter was nice enough to offer me a clean mug to take with me home! if i come back to Columbus soon, i'll definitely stop by here!

They make the yummiest treats! 100% recommend trying everything! So many choices, we even got a cotton candy CAKE for my daughter's birthday! The cotton candy milkshake is delicious! Made from a blueberry ice cream that they mix in house! They don't skimp on anything, these are milkshakes made with REAL ice cream!

Thi place is so good! Make sure you don't go with the regular size milkshakes unless you have a MASSIVE APPETITE!!!! The mini's are actually enough and filling. It is super pricy but I'd still splurge for a special occasion- which it was!! A must try. The owners were soooo nice. shakes are the best tasting thing ever!!!! Only reason I gave 4 stars is the price.

This was the most over the top ice cream experience I've ever had, and I would do it over and over again if I lived near by!

I had to try this donut shop since it was featured as on the top donut shops in the country based…read moreon Yelp reviews. It's in hidden in the plaza so you won't necessarily see it off the Main Street. Once you're inside it has a warm friendly vibe. You get to see the donut making first hand since it's an open kitchen. The menu has many created flavors for the chocolate , fruity, or seasonal lover. Not finding something you like, you can make your own. Think of Cold Stone but for donuts. I decided to go with a few of the created flavors, Honey Blue, Raspberry Beret, and the Mitch. They came piping hot out and were glazed and topped right in front of me. It was great but the icing didn't have a chance to set fully because the donut was so hot. I suggest to ask if you can have them wait a minute or two before putting on the glaze I love the story behind explaining who Donna is. I love learning the back story of any business. I will definitely be back to try other flavor combinations.

I really wanted to like Donna's Delicious Dozen given the great ratings and how much I love donuts,…read moreespecially mini donuts. Unfortunately, I have to say my experience was not the best. We came here on father's day as this location is quite far from us as we live on the West side of Columbus. While I had checked the website to ensure they were open before we drove to the store, upon arrival, they had posted a sign that they weren't taking walk-ins due to the online order volume they had. Still, we had driven all this way and they said we could still order online, so I did, expecting a much longer wait than usual. We ordered 6 donuts and a coffee and settled in to wait. The seating area has some basic tables and chairs and booths along the wall. The interior is very light and colorful, but I would still say this is likely more a place designed for pick up as the seating is more of an afterthought. I did appreciate that they noticed us waiting and tried to get us our order quickly - so the service is friendly when they have the help. As you can tell from the pictures people have posted, the donuts are presented quite nicely. They also were a bit bigger than I expected as I was expecting mini donuts and find these are smaller than a full sized donut, but larger than a mini-donut. Unfortunately, I feel the donuts may have been cooked in too hot of oil as they crumbled quite a bit with the outside separating from the interior. It was a bit oily and then the sweet toppings didn't quite adhere to the donut and made the flavor a bit off - so it wasn't quite there for me. I hope that this may be different experience than what others may have had given their high order volume and what I can imagine was a day they were short staffed being father's day, but I don't think I'll be making the trip out to visit this location again.

Review update: Last review was 10-11 months ago…read more I am definitely a regular here now. I much prefer to it over Starbucks. Its cheaper. Its closer. It tastes better. The drive-thru usually takes less time to get thru than Starbucks and the staff at this location is friendly. They have had a at least two, maybe three, major staff changes since my very first review. The staff reorganization seems to finally leave this location with solid, friendly employees that do a great job at moving you thru the line but still make you feel valued as a customer. I rarely go in. I am normally flying thru the drive thru lane as despite a constant line, the line here moves quick. Do not let a line deter you. They have three windows and when it's busy they usually utilize each one- which makes it move fast. The inside vibe is like every other Dunkin. The fuchsia door-handle in the shape of a D. Long counter with donuts, croissants long johns, muffins. Etc... Things we like: Try their maple bacon egg sandwich (if you like maple). Its not overly maplely and it is not messy like Wendy's. Comes on a croissant. If you order extra bacon it's extra good. Lol We seem to order the nitro cold brew lot, we add caramel. Yum. The refreshers are excellent. The mango one is better than the strawberry and the kiwi watermelon they have only in the warm months... warning -- the color of the kiwi watermelon is a gross green. They should have made it pink. (But probably didnt due to the strawberry one is pink) Still it is delicious, it tastes like a watermelon jolly rancher. Their rewards program is better than starbucks and you get free things faster -plus monthly offers! Add their drink prices are much cheaper than starbucks... When employees just need to push a few buttons to make your latte, it shouldn't ever be 8 dollars. Ever. You wont find that type of pricing at Dunkin' Oh... try their multi grain bagel... its the only one in the city with this texture and I swear they have the best cream cheese. I feel like they put a tiny bit of sugar in it.

The coffee was not piping hot and had to be put in the microwave. I mean seriously, how hard is it to mess up coffee and donuts? The "piece-de-resistance" is that the drive through machine now demands a tip whenever you pay. Silly me gave them 15% for their shitty donuts. I just moved into one of the new builds down the street. That was first and last time I will patronize this place. IF YOU HAVE TO BUY DONUTS FROM HERE CHECK THEM FIRST! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNEE
