Stopped in early to grab some breakfast and a few goodies before leaving town. Loved the hometown…read morefeel of the bakery. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. French Toast was excellent! Huge portion size. Cinnamon rolls that I brought were a hit as well. Only negative feedback was with the 12 count assorted homestyle cookies. Cookies were very crunchy, in my opinion a little over baked. Great experience, great area, with a very welcoming environment.

I have not had a strawberry cake or cupcake in all my travels that can rival Edgar's strawberry cake. I challenge you to. The employees were nice and exhibited the Southern charm you'd expect. The dining tables are lined up against the windows and extend into the middle of the space. The rest of the interior space is occupied by various tables and stands of baked goods and treats. This visit was my first time ever having food. I ordered the bacon omelet with grits and toast. It was fine, nothing spectacular. It was good enough for me to eat there again but nothing that I'd say you have to go out and get. If you haven't tried the strawberry cake or strawberry cupcake, you HAVE TO- MUST- stop in and try one or both of them.

I still like this place and have even gotten "real food" there…read more Pros: Staff are friendly! They nicely ground the bag of (overpriced) coffee I bought with zero complaints. The breakfast sandwiches and BLT are decently executed, but I'm REALLY not a fan of their bagels. Their bread (particularly the baguette) is fantastic, though. Note: it sells out quickly. You can still pick up your to-go order without having to deal with people. They now have a cute bookshop inside. They make their own cream cheese! Cons: If I'm paying $1.50 for an avocado add on, PLEASE don't let it be oxidized and brown and gross. This makes me sad. Parking is still a nightmare. See above about the bagels. I'm prepared for the hate I'm about to get, but I prefer Bruegger's...which is sad, as I'm sure they're produced and come in frozen. Prices have gone up, but that's to be expected. I would love, however, the option to not add on a side for less moolah. I don't want their straight from the bag chips, random baby carrots, or (somewhat icky) fruit. Depending on the timing, you may be able to get a seat. Or you may be fighting a soccer mom with 4 screaming toddlers just to pick up a to go order. Still a fan, but know what you're getting.

This is just for the bagels. The good Parking is plentiful and easy in and out. The bagels were…read morepretty good you can tell they were prepared in the traditional boiled manner that results in the chewy outside texture. And they offer just enough Schmear as an extra and will toast it for you. It is a quaint place that offers a place to hang out for a while. The staff was cordial not overly friendly and seemed really focused on the tasks at hand. I would have liked to have had a better breakfast bagel sandwich selection as that is what I was looking for but most of the offerings were on toasted bread.

Primarily, frosted with the shapes of ghosts and some with sprinkles shaped like candy corns. This store is maybe seven miles from our home, and these cookies were not packed/boxed well to travel and retain their decorations. The ghosts were ridiculous looking and the sprinkle candy corn shapes were executed with zero thought - despite the travel, they were just executed badly. Hubs sent them photos of the cookies (the box all six cookies were in was sealed with a sticker when he picked them up) and the store set him up with four replacement cookies. I thought this was a great, kind gesture! Hopefully Cookie Fix will fix their packaging issues and will correct their design problems. Thanks Cookie Fix, for making good on your product satisfaction!

Dropped in on opening day to get our cookie fix. We tried the Chunky Mama and the Coffee Toffee…read morecookies and both were excellent. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Cookies are available individually and can also be grouped in tins, and there's even some frozen dough available to take and bake. There's a beverage cooler available and options for ordering cookie cakes and setting up fundraising opportunities as well. It's worth noting that there doesn't appear to be any seating indoors or out. I'd guess that their most direct competitor would be Crumbl, so a few things worth noting for comparison: pricing of these cookies is cheaper than Crumbl at around $3 each, but they are also much smaller than Crumbl cookies despite having a thick center. The Cookie Fix cookies didn't seem overly sweet in the off-putting way that some find Crumbl's to be, which is great. Both cookies we tried were soft, fresh, and warm with great notes of cinnamon, coconut, oats, and walnuts. The Coffee Toffee didn't really have much of a coffee taste in my opinion, but it had a gooey, chocolatey center that was delicious. Overall would recommend for an occasional treat, just know that you'll be looking at $3ish per cookie!
