My husband ordered tea latte with earl grey & the staff caught on that my husband wants a London Fog (not on the menu). The food & drink selection was great! Love this bakery spot! I always have to get two trays worth of goodies! My favorites are the kimchi and curry croquettes, sad they were out but it was the end of the day so not surprised. I also love the sweet frank roll, at home I like to dip it in ketchup and Japanese mayo. First time trying the smash croissant, that will be tomorrow's breakfast! Another favorite, can't remember what it's called but I think it's the bulgogi mini smokies. Tous les Jours has some really great flavor combinations that blend well together. I tried four different pastries, and they were all delicious! I also got a free slice of strawberry cake since I visited during happy hour and spent $15. The cake was very moist, but I wasn't a fan of the buttercream frosting and the cake could have had more flavor. The staff was nice and friendly. This place is very cute. I grew up in Huntsville but moved away so I'm still surprised at all the new development in Mid City. It's really cute to walk around, and this little French bakery was a real treat. It was adorable inside. They have a selection of bakery items as well as cold desserts to try. I had the pleasure of trying this gem during their soft opening. The pastries were EXQUISITE!! I am so happy that Huntsville is getting a business such as this, being that I've noticed a pattern of the same type of restaurants being opened on every corner(which can be a bit disappointing). Atmosphere: 10/10 The atmosphere was wonderful. Everything is so clean and organized. The calm, yet inviting vibes were great! I believe I spoke with the owner (Shane?) He was very kind as he walked around and spoke with customers. As fast as pastries were selling out, there was a constant refill of new tongs and trays, as well as someone cleaning up. As a fan of Asian bakeries I was anxiously waiting for this place to open up, and I'm glad it met my expectations. I happened to be at Trader Joe's the day of their soft opening, so I stopped by and got in line to grab some pastries. I tried a couple of the croquettes and a cream cheese bun, and they were delicious. It was also nice to see they kept bringing stuff out while the line kept growing behind me. They also have a variety of espresso and tea drinks, including an ube latte (tea based). The decor is lovely, and seems like a nice hangout with lots of seating. read more

I love this little place! Although I've since discovered it's a chain, and there are actually two in my city, this location is way better. It's bigger, brighter, cleaner, and always seems to have a bigger, better selection of baked goods. I travel to the area at least once a month for work and I am always sure to stop in. The coffee is decent, and the pastries and breads are SO unbelievably soft and fresh. You enter and grab a tray, tray liner, and tongs. Then you proceed through the queue selecting your desired pastries before heading to the register to pay. It is located in the MidCity shops. Out front is reverse angled parking only. A little weird, but not on them and it is what it is. They have a rewards program you can sign up for too. My only complaint is that I wish they would ask your name for the ticket/cup like Starbucks. Two out of the three times I've been now, someone else in line behind me has ordered a similar coffee and they take mine when the order is called out, despite me having ordered first. They usually yell out the ticket number and drink type, but no one ever pays attention to their ticket number. No sir, that vanilla latte is not yours. Hands off. read more

I have been a handful of times, each time visiting to curb a sweet tooth. I got the chocolate and earl grey mousse cake for my birthday. It came with birthday candles and a cake slicer, both of really great quality. I loved this cake! The Tiramisu latte was just alright. I wouldn't order it a second time over a plain cinnamon latte. The strawberry and cream croissant was as you would imagine. The matcha croissant was not that great at all. It was a little bitter which took away from the croissant itself. The macarons, however, were fabulous! The only one I wouldn't recommend is the rose flavor as I felt it was a little too strong and perfume-ey. Overall, 5/5. read more

They were hard outside too hard and no flaky layers inside just filling on the bottom . Tasted awful as well I told her to throw it away . Please stay on top of quality control . This little bakery has a rich, modern ambiance and delicious classic French and French Korean pastries! It is a Korean-owned chain bakery with a number of locations in SK, however gained popularity with franchised locations in the US. The croissants are absolutely delicious and baked to perfection, but this is a French KOREAN bakery, so if you if you're wanting to try more of the Korean pastries and drinks, I HIGHLY recommend trying the red bean donuts, honey cheese mochi pancakes, taro cream bread, ube latte, and the matcha latte! I don't often give 5 star ratings, especially not on first visits and especially not to chains (which this is technically a chain), but...Tous les Jours absolutely knocked my socks off! Tous les Jours is a French-Asian bakery. The franchise began in South Korea and has a large number of stores worldwide, with more than 70 locations in the US. This is the first location in Alabama. Located in MidCity near Kamado Ramen and behind Wahlburgers, this cute little bakery seems a great fit for the spot. Street parking is a little funky (angle-in only lest you risk a ticket) so I chose to park in the very large lot in front of Wahlburgers and just make the short walk over. Inside, I was greeted by a beautifully modern shop. They were quite busy, as most newly opened businesses tend to be in Huntsville, but the line moved at a reasonable pace. You start by the entry with a tray and a pair of tongs to select your own goods. It reminds me very much of Asian bakeries in much larger cities like Atlanta. So excited to have a similar place at home! The selection of baked goods is truly impressive and honestly? I'm not mad about the prices either, especially for the quality of the goods. They also have calories listed on the description card of each item, which is an awesome (if occasionally upsetting, lol) bonus. They also serve lattes and a couple other drinks but I didn't indulge this time. I was happy with the service I received -- many staff members were working hard to rush out more fresh pastries and everyone seemed happy to be there. My haul for this first visit included milk cream bread, a kimchi croquette, a curry croquette, a garlic and cheese croissant, some kind of mocha/coffee bun, and a prepackaged cheese cake stick. Everything was really, really good. I had a hard time settling on a favorite! The croissant had some kind of honey butter glaze going on and had layers upon layers of flaky pastry. The curry croquette wasn't spicy (not that I would've minded) but was full of delightful warming flavors and sprinkled with sesame seeds. The kimchi croquette was probably my least favorite item, but it was still delicious, with a faintly cheesy taste to the bread and sour and tangy kimchi. The mocha bun took a little getting used to - had a sort of dusty outer layer - but was full of subtle coffee vibes and was pleasantly chewy. The cheese cake stick (not cheesecake like you're probably thinking) wasn't super cheesy but was yet again wildly soft and had a faint coconut flavor. Lastly, the milk cream bread was chewy and gooey on the outside and filled with creamy vanilla custard. Not sure I've ever had anything that wasn't vanilla ice cream taste SO MUCH like vanilla ice cream, but it was really cool! No photos because I was either too busy stuffing my face or later brought the pastries home and the lighting was too bad, lol. Can't wait to come back again and again and again! They have so many amazing looking items and I plan on working my way through all of them. read more

The receipt printer wasn't working, apparently, so they completely forgot about the two iced coffees we ordered. After standing at the counter for 15 minutes I had to ask about my order. The barista asked what we had ordered and I told her the types, but instead of the larger we had ordered we got two smaller sizes. By that point, and since my wife had already finished her pastry, I happily accepted what we got. After eating I wasn't sure what to do with the tray and utensils. There's no collection point, and I didn't see anyone bussing tables. In the end we enjoyed the pastries and the coffees, but I'd be hard pressed to say it was a great experience.
