Cool little coffee shop with great vibes and good food! I got a bagel with egg (extra $2), and it was tasty. Service was friendly and quick. I also tried the Downpayment, and it was really good. My only complaint is that the menu says "fruit," but it was just grapes. Otherwise, a great spot!

Say it's the bread, the ambience or the service this local gem is one of the greatest finds in Huntsville. It has me craving the delicious offerings weekly and is definitely the home greatest bagels spots in the town. Recommend the Chai Tea Latte and Vanilla Bourbon Latte to accompany your breakfast treat. Relax and enjoy your morning

The place is quaint. Ambiance would have felt nicer of it wasn't as busy but that's a good thing for the business. I went on a Sunday, I'm sure during the week it's a more pleasant "small town coffee shop" experience. We got the bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel and the lox and loaded plus two cappuccinos. Everything was good no complaints on the food. We'll be back during the week next time.

Great spot! Excellent bagels. The locals in line with us said CB has the best bagels in town. Even though they were busy, the line moved quickly and the busy employees were cheerful and hardworking. The cafe was country-chic and decorated for the holidays, and had local events and lgbtq positive signs posted in the entry way. Happy to find a place like this in Alabama.

One of our last stops on our trip the weekend before last. We got breakfast here before heading to the Space and Rocket center. We loved it!! First of all, loved when I searched coffee shop on Yelp, that there were sooo many to choose from in Huntsville. I wasn't at all expecting to have so many options, and on a Sunday morning! ***LOCATION*** We were driving from our Airbnb in New Market. The A-frame campsite at Leigh Acres (HIGHLY recommend btw. If you're looking to visit the Space and Rocket center, it is only 30 minutes away) so we searched coffee shops on the way and saw this one right in between. 15 min drive from the campsite and right on the road to the Space and Rocket center. ***EXPERIENCE*** Had plenty of seating and a welcoming staff! We came in and tbh the menu was a little overwhelming there are so many options. They bake everything daily. Their baguettes looked incredibly good and very authentic! We ended up getting breakfast bagels. ***FOOD/DRINK*** Since I mainly eat vegetarian, I just asked for an egg and cheese bagel. They have so many bagel sandwiches on the menu though! I think mine was about 4$ which is very good! I also wanted a green tea, since I had a bit of a sore throat. They only had matcha or black tea so I went with English breakfast and added honey! I really wanted to order the cinnamon loaf but they were sold out. It looked so good and you could get the entire loaf for 8$. I was going to take it home for breakfast during the week. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely have to pick one up! ***PRICE*** I thought the prices were very reasonable and lower than most cafes! ***CONCLUSION*** Definitely worth a trip! Love that their bread is fresh, great selection and I am always a fan of coffee shops with savory breakfast items! I don't like to just eat a sugar muffin for breakfast when I go to a coffee shop. Love having some sort of breakfast sandwich. This place is perfect! Plenty of seating and well and self-serve water :)

TGIF! I awoke this morning streaming high definition lox on a bagel with luscious cream cheese, sliced tomato, red onions, capers and where do I find my perfect lox and bagel? I grabbed my cellphone and went to my go to Yelp app to see what my fellow Yelpers find tried and true. I picked Canadian Bakin here in Huntsville. When I arrived, there were 2 parking spaces available. Lucky me I was able to park and go inside around 1015. The interior is quaint cute and was full of patrons. I walked up to the counter and declared this is my first visit. The lady behind the counter went thru the menu and bagel options. I knew I wanted lox on a bagel and selected the Lox & Loaded on "everything" bagel. She told me that bagel was a popular choice. I picked up a baguette to serve with the delectable pot roast I was preparing for tonight. I asked for my order to be "to go". I did try to take a few pictures. There were two customers in line behind me so I quickly took a picture of the menu. I didn't want to be rude and hold hungry people up from placing their orders. I arrived home and opened up my bagel. I see why the restaurant was full and busy. My everything bagel was the on steroids version as it was huge, smelled fresh, beautiful lox was dripping off the sides all around and my first bite caused several eye blinks because it tasted soooo good. The lox was not overly fake smoked tasting and wonderful texture. I did a double take gazing at this appetizing bagel and devoured it. OISHI. It is always a good sign to see an establishment busy and near full. I see why the reviews are great for Canadian Bakin and I am hooked. I will be back to sample their food again. Supporting local businesses...fire!

Tiramisu latte delish. Bagels and cream cheese are outstanding!

Delicious spot for house made bagels, cream cheese, and coffee! Even the flavored syrups were house made. I highly recommend adding this to your list of "must eat" in Huntsville!

Went here for breakfast. You can order ahead online, which I highly recommend. I tried their Q-Becco sandwich with a side of fruit. My husband got their lox sandwich. They also had chocolate Cherry sour dough bread that I couldn't resist. For the 2 combos and a bread loaf it was $31. I highly recommend trying this place. All their ingredients seem ultra fresh. I can definitely see why this place is popular. I do wish they were open on Sundays.

Savory, fresh and delicious...is how I would describe the everything bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers, tomatoes and onion. This cozy little café has a retro vibe with jazz tunes playing in the background, a 50's style TV showing black and white nature programming and small little café tables and petite sofa. An added surprise was the assortment of looseleaf teas offered for this self-proclaimed tea connoisseur...I thoroughly enjoyed my lapsang souchang oatmilk tea latte with vanilla bourbon. Great neighborhood find!

Not handicap accessible. They have a ramp but nobody in a wheelchair can open the door. And parking space blocks the ramp.

I walked in a little past 1pm, having studied the chalkboard outside with a delightful-sounding selection of spring specials. As I'm ordering, the barista and I alike see another group walk in. And another. And another-- I'm not seeing anyone else in the rather small physical establishment, and as a former barista am beginning to sweat a bit for this Greenroom employee and all of the orders he is about to have to deal with, seemingly by himself (cue the cheerful chime announcing more customers, and more customers). As I wait for my order, grateful to be the first in this long line, I sit to casually read a book and take my opportunity to observe my fellow patrons of this fine little spot. I hear the barista asking customers if they're okay with waiting, and he begins to ask customers if they're okay with waiting a minute for their orders. I'm content, as I have no urgent arrangements, and the now plastic-gloved barista comes up to me, informing me that they have no lime to garnish the avocado toast I've ordered and asking if that was okay. I assert as much and he returns to the line; I think to myself that he could have saved the time and not told me and I wouldn't have known the difference, but I'm pleased with his attention to detail. I get my to-go box of avocado toast with an egg and am pleased to open it and try a bite. I feel that it could have done with red pepper flakes (my favorite), but the everything bagel seasoning added a nice texture and the overall flavor profile was delightfully savory. As for my drink, which came later, it was the Good Riddance: a vanilla cold brew with lime pie cold foam (which lived up to the name tremendously). It also had what I believe to be graham cracker or pie crust crumbles on the top that were delightful! The drink was delicious and perfect for the spring weather. I sit upstairs as I always do, but specifically on the patio where I can see all of MidCity and the surrounding businesses. There's nonintrusive and enjoyable music presumably coming from the Camp itself? After an hour or so of enjoying my spoils, I return to the counter below to see if the barista is still there now that the rush is over. He is now accompanied by another coworker, blessedly, and I learn that his name is Caleb. We chat for a few moments and I introduce myself before leaving, but not before taking another picture of all the event calendars for the week and month. Now I'm positively fueled for my afternoon and grateful for the relaxed atmosphere. (Thanks for reading this far if you did, and shoutout again to Caleb for doing his job tremendously! He informed me that he enjoys a good rush of customers, and I replied that I would have cried to have been in the situation that he handled with great poise and dedication. The great service alongside the excellent product left me wanting to return quickly!)

Getting new tires in Athens the other week, I (sadly) noticed an obituary on their bulletin board for Cheryl Prince Sendowski who owned the coffee shoppe from 1998 until it was sold in 2013. This was one spot my Birthday Club group met at in the late 80s and early 90s. We enjoyed their simplistic sandwiches and iced teas. I'm not a coffee snob by any stretch, and their coffee doesn't evoke great memories for me; however, I do recall it being "fair trade," even back then. The sandwiches were good, the place was nice to relax in, and the back patio was even more eclectic with various statuary and just "stuff" hanging from the fence. Sandwiches were nothing you can't make at home, but they were good, edible, quick and filling! The community bulletin board was always clustered with fliers and business cards for music lessons, missing pets, and pressure washers. It's a local's place for locals and had one regular, Mike Maples who was conferred with the title "Mayor" of Ole Town Coffee. The gazebo out front is quaint to sit in. Do know parking is tight.
