I ordered a toasted French toast bagel with peanut butter. I also ordered a strawberry bagel for the next day. I also purchased a cranberry and coconut butter cookie. Everything was fresh and delicious. I never had a strawberry bagel and it wasn't sweet. It tasted like a plain bagel with color, lol. Beware of Dishonest Business Practices…read more This place has a huge sign advertising FREE coffee with any egg order, so I came in this morning expecting exactly that. I ordered an egg and cheese bagel with salt, pepper, and ketchup, along with a coffee--since, according to their own sign, it was supposed to be free. The man at the register (who I assume was the owner) charged me extra for the coffee anyway. When I politely pointed out that the coffee should be free, he acted clueless and said, "Oh, I didn't know you wanted the special." Seriously? Why would anyone knowingly choose to pay extra for something clearly advertised as free? He then said, "Okay, I'll give it to you," but still charged me the full amount. When I asked again if the discount had actually been applied, he flat-out claimed that it had. I showed him right there that it hadn't, and instead of fixing it, he shrugged it off and said there was nothing he could do--basically trying to keep the extra money. At that point, I walked out. It's not about the price of a coffee--it's about honesty. If you advertise something, honor it. This felt deceptive, shady, and completely unprofessional. Disgusting business practices.
