I own a floral business that had a delivery at Jefferson Memorial yesterday. One of our drivers…read morecalled to let me know how extraordinarily helpful two staff members there were to her. This was a first for a driver to call with a huge compliment while at a delivery location. The staff involved were Rose and Jordan. It was added work on their part to assist. They could easily have said no but without hesitancy they helped our driver. Please keep in mind funeral homes have no financial incentive to assist anyone other than their clients. Rightly so, florists are expected to follow their rules and help make their job easier of dealing with their clients easier. So thank you Rose and Jordan for taking the interest, time and effort to save the day for our business and our client. Florists rarely get inquires to make referrals so their motivation was selfless.

They sit you at a table and sling a list of prices at you like you are a dog. It was like being in a used car salesman's office. The arrogance was ridiculous. Then they want to jack the price up and tell you that's a typo. I told them no it was in print and I wouldn't pay a dime more. Ended up having to have my daughter moved bc the vultures only cared for money so I was worried about them stealing her jewelry or looking for gold teeth. Then they run your loved ones over with machines because they are too sorry to hand dig the graves. We had to threaten to turn them into Montgomery to get them to stop using the road they made over our family plots. I wouldn't send a gerbil here. Go to Deerfoot Memorial. I think that's the correct name. Those folks are wonderful. Very, very kind and supportive. I wish I could have buried my child somewhere else but I couldn't afford it. She deserves so much better than being here. If I go back and the road is still there I will go to Montgomery bc I wouldn't doubt they lied to us again. This has been happening for 20 years. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!

Our grandmother passed away on a Tuesday, and her funeral wasn't until the following Monday. In those long, heavy days of grief, we believed there was sufficient time for every detail to be handled with care. Yet, when the day arrived, we were met with the painful realization that the flowers that were meant to symbolize our love, remembrance, and final tribute had never been ordered at all. What hurt most was not just the mistake itself, but the way it was handled afterward. When the oversight came to light, we were met with a response that felt distant and insufficient, as though the emotional weight of the situation had not been fully understood. We were told there was little that could be done beyond offering a refund. They did offer to order the flowers once the error was discovered, but this was after the service had ended. The moment had passed, and with it, our chance to honor her as we had envisioned. We declined, because the trust we had placed in them had already been shaken. A refund cannot restore a moment that has already slipped away. It cannot replace the absence of something so symbolic on a day filled with grief. The opportunity to honor our grandmother in the way we had carefully planned was gone, leaving behind a quiet ache that words cannot fully capture. Our family has owned these burial plots since 1944, a place tied to generations of memory and meaning. To stand there, knowing something so important had been overlooked, made the experience feel even more hollow. We were left to carry that disappointment alongside our grief and try to move forward. I understand that mistakes can happen in any profession. However, families place an immense amount of trust in a funeral home during one of the most vulnerable and painful times in their lives. Based on our experience, greater attention to detail, clearer communication, and a more compassionate response could have made a profound difference. Craig handled all the details to set up the transfer of the body and date of the burial.
