I normally don't comment on sites, but I have to concerning LC. Prior to coming in, we spoke to Missy Brooks about what we were looking for. Specifically, a 4Runner Limited. They had a 2016 4Runner Limited as advertised through TrueCar.com I told her we had a trade in and wanted a certain price. It was in show room condition. When we got there, after driving 1 1/2 hours, it was not the Limited model, but the base model, a SR5. Although we wanted the Limited, we felt pressure to purchase the SR5. At the time of signing the papers, Scottie, the accountant, showed us exactly how much they are giving us in the trade in, some 2K+ below KBB. They flat out lied to us, twice. That caused our payments to be, as I estimate over 100/mo more than what is necessary. Would I got back to them? Absolutely NOT! Can they be trusted? Absolutely NOT! I had the opportunity to work with Mark and Chris and they both were great to work with. I went in to trade my current vehicle for a truck they had and Chris worked above and beyond to get me at the price range I was aiming for and payments near what I was needing. I have not had a salesman/manager work that hard on my behalf before. I did do my part first and research the vehicle to be purchased and current car I had which I recommend to anyone buying a car, however they were friendly and willing to listen to everything. DONT GO HERE, I couldnt be more clear, went here today and almost every customer was walking out. The sales people dont care if u buy or not, they told us there final bottom price within 15 min and would not go down $50 more for a sale, crazy first time i have ever went to any dealership and they literally tried not to sell a vehicle. Do not try and use the Costco membership here because the sales person for Costco Arthur Moreno doesnt have a clue about anything going on there. In 15 min he walked into (his Managers) office 4 times. Ill stay in the Fresno/ Clovis area where they want to sell there vehicles. Look here Customer S.AKA business manager, I notice you keep defending everyone at the dealership in all these horrible reviews. That practice in business won't keep your job it's actually doing something about it and taking care of the customer is where you will stand out. I wanted to purchase a 2018 Traverse yesterday through the Costco Auto Buying program but, I was told by the sales manager, that vehicle is not part of the Costco Auto buying program. I asked the sales manager if he is willing to work with me on the price of the vehicle a Little since I was expecting to save a little through the Costco Auto buying program. He basically told me, the price listed is what I will pay. He kept emphasizing on the 20yr/200,000mi warranty. Didn't appear he was eager to sell. read more

Sept. 17, 2014 I took my Chevy HHR to Liberty Chevrolet to have the ignition switch replaced because of the recall. I had been told that if I got there early I should get my car back in 2-3 hours. So...I got there at 6:45 and was the first person in line. Well guess what? They kept stringing me along until almost 5 pm before I got my car back. If I had been told it would take all day I could have taken care of other things but instead I wasted an entire day expecting to hear from them. I happen to know that the ignition switch replacement takes less than an hour (an experienced mechanic could probably do it in 10 or 15 minutes) so Liberty probably didn't start working on it till 3:30 or so. Needless to say, I don't appreciated being treated the way I was. Maybe my time doesn't mean anything to Liberty Chevrolet but it means a lot to me! read more

My husband and I have bought several cars from liberty Chevrolet and are experiencing horrible service. Took our car in to get serviced and are still having the same problems we did the last time we took it in. Now we are being told they're going to charge us $6,000 to fix it. I think that's ridiculous. I will not be a returning costumer. read more

I originally purchased my car here back in March and the sales people were extremely friendly and I didn't feel pressured into purchasing a certain vehicle. They were very detailed on the specifications of my car I currently have. They explained everything I needed to know about my car. I thank you Michael Garcia for a pleasant transaction. Also, there was a recall recently on my car, so I took my car into the service department and had amazing service. Pedro was an amazing service advisor. Always kept me up to date on my vehicle and always checked in on me to make sure I was okay or not. The service department and the sales department both have very caring staff. I highly recommend this dealership in general for anything you may need, whether dealing with the service department, or dealing with the sales department. Hands down this has been the best experience I have ever had with working with a dealership. I called early am reached Natalie the receptionist, and explained how I wanted to trade in my 2015 Kia , but wasn't sure if that would be possible since I was upside down on my loan. Natalie listened intently , and assured me that Liberty Chevrolet would be able to help me. I was hopeful so I made the long drive down , and right away when I pulled up to Liberty I was greeted by 3 people . Shortly after I was escorted in then introduced to Natalie and Arthur. Arthur was spectacular!!!!!! Arthur listened to my needs and gave me guidance throughout the whole process of trading in my vehicle. Arthur's customer service is what will make me come back when I'm ready to purchase again . I thought my situation would only allow me to trade for a pre-owned vehicle , but Arthur reviewed my numbers and was able to help me purchase a new model . I will never go to this place to purchase a vehicle!!! I specifically told the Chinese/Asian salesman I did not consent to my credit being checked. He kept repeating how it was standard paperwork and needed this filled out and to give it to Juan and Sven. I told him no I was not going to complete the paper because I did not want a hard inquiry on my credit score. He kept insisting. I once again continued to say I did not consent. I just checked my credit and I have hard inquiries from the day I went to look at vehicles! That is illegal and should have never happened. I should have kept the paper and knew something was wrong when he took it and never returned it back. This is the most unprofessional place I have even been too and worked. I will be disputing this! I never consented and I am glad I didn't walk out buying car with them. He wouldn't even want to tell me how much the vehicle I was looking at was. Calling for a complaint would be useless since I highly doubt they would do anything about it. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM! read more

I was sent here through an auto buying service after my car was deemed a total loss from an accident. Not impressed at all. Worst place ever! All I got was the run around and game playing. They called to set up an appointment saying they had a particular car for me in my price range. I went all the way to Selma on a Saturday afternoon, only to find out the car they "claimed" to have for me was being safety inspected in Hanford and would be ready for me to see until Monday. Its now Friday and I still haven't see the car. What a joke these people are. Horrible customer service. Can't reach who you need to on the phone no matter how many messages you leave. If you want great customer service and a great knowlegable sales person, this is not the place to go to. Michaels Automotive in Fresno is who you want to call. Bought a 2013 Ford Escape. While I love the car, I am sorely disappointed in the service I received at the Selma Auto Mall. The first salesman was very nice, showed me every SUV they had, didn't pressure me, but did misinform me of the features installed on my call, claiming it had a Navigation system when it does not. Then I met a manager who was very high pressure, did not listen to me and was very pushy. They deliver the car with only one windshield wiper, when I go back the next day as they said I should to get a replacement I was turned away. On the way home it began to rain, I turned on the wipers out of habit to be able to see and my windshield gets scratched! I end up having to stop and buy new wipers at a store to make it home. Once again I go back to the dealership, assuming they would reimburse me for the wipers. They did not. Then they call and say they forgot to have me sign all the paper work. This place is ridiculous. Poor customer service. They don't stand by their promises. And incompetent staff. Avoid! read more

Only reason why I'm giving them a 2 is because when we bought our truck it was great service BUT when we buy a Brand New Vehicle and in less than a year out AC stops blowing cool air, it's time to make a service apt. This is where it went all bad pull in the shop at 945 (apt at 10) no other vehicles but mine. Since I had to make an hour and half drive I had no other choice but to hang around the dealer. After a walk to the local grocery store, mind you in 98 degree weather with a 7 month old and 2 year old and 4 and half hours later. I decided to get an status on my vehicle. The response "we hooked up the computer to see if we get codes, usually people leave their vehicle all day and just leave, but would you like to bring it back another day" ah No! After a call to another chevy dealer, turns out this is an hour...maybe 2 hour job tops. Shame on you Liberty but I can Thank you for waisting my time, money and time I had to take off work for nothing but your laziness! Oh to top if off when we called to speak with the service manager do you think an apology was given, not even 5 words were out of my mouth and first thing he asked was "well did you have an AC apt" um if I didn't have one why would I drive an hour and half. 2nd thing - I asked if he can tell if they even check the AC, "well I believe they hooked it up the computer" Shouts to the Chevy Dealer in Tranquility, smaller dealer with hard working men who can fix a simple fix in less than an hour! read more
