The menu is varied and has something for everyone. One never knows if delivery food will travel well, our food was fresh, hot, and very delicious. I've ordered twice during my week-long visit now and both experiences were outstanding, even through Door Dash. I got the chicken souvlaki dinner once and it came with 2 skewers of chicken, rice, a big Greek salad, a cup of French onion soup, and 2 marinated potato wedge things that were amazing. The salad was fresh and they were very generous with the veggies. The chicken was good. Even the rice was seasoned well. I also tried the Cobb salad. Ingredients were fresh, salad was huge, and their homemade ranch was amazing. Highly recommend if you're looking for some serious comfort food. read more

My companies HQ is in Fy Wayne. So I have been coming here since 1994. (The place has changed names a few times. The food and service here up to now, has always been great. This past saturday 8-12-23 I went there and ordered rib eye steak med rear. With a salad , bowl of greek soup, and a glass of cabernet. The cabernet was an awful rotgut. But that's what I get for ordering wine at a diner. The salad was fine and while I didnt like the soup. It arrived promptly, was hot just not to my taste. However my rib eye was dripping blood and barely rare! I ate my soup and salad, while waiting for the waitress to come check on me and my empty wine glass. I could hear her talking in the waitstaff galley. Buy she never came out. Just as I was standing to leave, she finally came. By that time my rib eye was COLD. When she asked how is everything? I showed her the steak. She did offer to take it back. But I declined because at this point. As I was ready to leave, and only cooking a new one could fix that mess. I went to the counter to pay. Only to find I was still being charged full price. So that was $42 ($5 was grauity) for a bowl of soup, a side salad, and 2 pieces of bread. I did send the restaurant an email about my experiance. However as of today 8-14-23. I have not heard back. As a decades long customer, I am disappointed. So next time I have to come to corporate. I will find another place to eat. read more

Good late night spot. Good food! Great place if you're looking to eat good late night. Name it they got it here pretty much. It's a fancy version of Azars, but much better. Good chicken, steak, burgers, side items you name it. A little bit on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for right? right? You know what I am saying! Greek family owned restaurant with humongous amount of menu choices. Of the three meals we had, all were good quality with generous portions. One can tell the kitchen puts an effort in to get things right; i.e., like the soups (that come with most sandwiches/entrees) is fresh and hot. Fries (dusted with a flour concoction, BTW, that made them extra special good) were hot and crisp. The one salad entree we had (Chinese Chicken Salad) had all fresh ingredients. For sure, the Roma tomatoes and mushrooms in the salad were "just cut" fresh. Service: Excellent. The restaurant can use some improvements: Several upholstered booths appear to need repair/re-upholstery. My family wanted to give a special thanks to George at Liberty Diner. We have been going to this establishment for many years and have gotten to know the staff. Recently, my step father went in to grab one cup of soup to take to his 98 year old mother, Mim, as she has always loved their soup. While placing the order, George asked how his mother was doing. Sadly, he had to indicate that she isn't that well. George pushed the money back and said "hold on". He came back with a four pack of a variety of soups. It made Mim's heart happy. Ok Went there for about the 15th time. Just as amazing as ever. Didn't get our usual server but had an adorable Hispanic gal who was having her first week. She was terrific! Ordered the moussaka and soup w Greek salad. Was soooo delicious. Way too much food for just one meal. Partner got the Half a baked chicken. Said it was the best he'd ever had. Moist and flavorful. Wow. After not going there for awhile we did take out from Liberty Diner the other night. Uh-mazing. The salads were so ridiculously fresh it was almost like they had picked the ingredients from their garden out back. You know how lots of (let's be honest, most) restaurants often use borderline or even wilted ingredients in their salads, especially on take out? The Greek salads at Liberty Diner were so fresh the leftovers we had the next day (the salads are LARGE) were fresher than most restaurants on the day of. Seriously. And all the menu items (soup, spanakopita, fish, etc.) were just as excellent, obviously prepared with great care. So while this isn't necessarily some fancy pants establishment, either we caught Liberty Diner on one of their best days ever or it's better than most fancy pants establishments. I can't really complain about the food or the service. The staff and the owner were really nice. It also seems like they have a handful of different type of specials. Some daily and some during certain hours of the day. I'm always about a good deal. The only reason I deducted a star was because I happened to go during the times specials weren't running. So the prices were a little high for the quality of food. It also isn't the most pleasant atmosphere. However, they do a good job of trying to make it a good atmosphere. I think it's mainly the location of some sketchy hotels,strip clubs, and truck stops that will bring in the odd ones. read more

I got the crunchy french toast, which was very plain and tasted like I was eating plain fresh toast with few cereal pieces. I knew I should've gone with my gut instincts and just get what I ALWAYS get, eggs, potatoes, and toast..well...lesson learned. My parents got a breakfast scramble quesadilla that was surprisingly tasty with the side of salsa it comes with.
