I should have told my neighbors to ask for a quote before scheduling so I take responsibility for that, but never did it occur to me that the price would be so high for one outlet! Is this the going rate for outlet repair or was this an opportunity to rip off the elderly?

Jeff said he would be there within the hour and sent me a text when he was 10 minutes away. Jeff determined the problem was a faulty circuit breaker within 2 minutes. He went to his truck to get a replacement and my power was restored to my garage within 10 minutes of his arrival (if not sooner.) He was personable, professional, very courteous, communicative, and efficient. Truly, Plato's idea of an electrician. The cost the service call was incredibly reasonable! Frankly, I was shocked at how low my bill was. You can bet that I will call "Down the Road Electric" the next time I need electrical services.

The doors and cabinets do not match, even after their second try. We were told we would not notice one door because it was in a dim lighted area. We were told they received the wrong color from the cabinet guy, that the oak door they took to match was the " darkest" of the cabinets...that is why it was off. They told us they were within "specs" so they will not replace all the wood unless we pay for it!! We were not upset about the delay, or the "mistakes., we are disappointed in their consistent attitude that it is not their fault, and although it doesn't match, it is within "specs". Our cabinets are a "medium oak color" , their stained doors and trim are obvious a "dark oak color".

Some harsh weather over the past couple of years also caused numerous trees to break, fall, or weaken. Jonny is an excellent communicator, and laid out a multi-phase process to restore the forest so that we can start to develop the next generation of trees and maintain a mature forest. Vines were cleared first, followed by felling dead/dying trees, then final clearing so that material taken down can decompose naturally in the forest. He always checked in as he and his team progressed on the job, making sure they were hitting the targets we wanted without getting too far (to a point of no return). They were courteous, kind, and thoughtful about their approach. They also were able to complete the job within a few weeks, allowing us a chance to get a head start on planting already this season.
