I would give them 5 stars except last time, the guy forgot my appointment. I called the office 15 minutes past, and he apparently forgot to write it down and double booked. Unfortunately, my house was being painted the next day, so I had to get the exterior light changed that day. He made it before I left for work. I let him in, and he let himself out. I won't let one bad apple spoil the bunch for me on this one though. I'll continue to use them on all my projects. Their reasonably priced, and their quotes are always spot on. According to the sticker on our unit, Davis Heating & Air Conditioning is the company who had serviced our a/c in the past. I sent a non-urgent email to them on a Sunday morning. Carmen called me within a couple of hours and we set-up a time for someone to come by and look at the furnace between 4-6pm Monday evening or 7-9am Tuesday morning, depending on my work schedule. There is a (reasonable) fee for a technician to come between the hours of 4-6pm, as this is after their normal business hours. That was fine with us because we aren't able to be home during normal business hours. Todd just left. He was super. Bless him for helping us newbies on a Monday night. He explained exactly what happened and mentioned that a part of our furnace was dirty, causing the noise we were hearing. I was relieved to find out that we may just get another 15 years out of her! He did not upsell or tell us that our furnace was on its last leg (I was worried), but educated us about a few things. Brian, another technician, also called me on Monday morning because he had availability in his schedule to come by before 4pm. We appreciated the attempt and phone call, although we couldn't be home at the time. Great customer service from beginning to end. Highly recommend. We'll be calling them back asap for a pre-summer a/c tune-up.
