The staff were very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. There's also a cool climbing wall treadmill in the upstairs area that was a lot of fun. The bouldering area was also very well cushioned. I'm not the biggest fan of bouldering but I felt very safe bouldering here just because of how well maintained and cushioned the mats were. As a person visiting the area, I didn't have a regular climbing crew - I came solo and the autobelays were more than enough to satisfy my climbing need. The autobelays covered a solid range of levels and there were more than enough to cover my climbing needs. The other routes also looked interesting - and it's clear that the route setters have done a very good, thoughtful job in their setting. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a climb in the KC area!

There is an area that are cute houses to play in but they all connect and have many different stairs on the inside of them. Younger children might get "lost". Seems like it should be for children under 8 years old? Staff doesn't seem to enforce rules there. The 3-12 years old area with the jungle gym is cool but the bigger kids aren't very nice. The pad mat at the end of the slides keep moving but no one fixes them. I was fixing them so my toddler didn't land on the hard floor. There is no food or drink on any of the play areas but kids don't seem to care or read rules. Parents aren't even watching them too. They were old enough to understand. Had to tell them myself to not have drinks on the slides. They had snack area too which was pretty good selection. It was pretty hot in there though, so not sure if AC just wasnt on or maybe it wasn't working. I would go again but maybe when my child is older. There are a few things for maybe 1 year olds and 2 year olds to play on.

It allows me to, well, actually go to the gym where my previous spot was a trek to get to. There are loads of various cardio machines, and the majority have these "course" settings that let you run or ride through cool settings like Colorado, New Zealand, France, etc. In the dead of winter in KC, it's a welcome relief instead of slogging through cardio. The weights area and machines have pretty much what you need, although another couple free weight squat racks are needed. The weights are pretty old school but not too shabby. Parking (with a purchased pass) is pretty good seeing as how this is right in the middle of campus. It's occasionally a bit of a hike when the weather is 10 degrees, but it toughens me up... at least that's what I'm telling myself! Friendly staff and convenient lockers right near the workout area too. All in all, I'm a fan.
