Tonight I attended the 19th Annual New Jersey Taste for Sight to enjoy a selection of wine, beer, and spirits to support the Foundation Fighting Blindness' mission to find treatments and cures for blinding retinal diseases. The venue is awesome with stunning views. The staff were very attentive and the food was everything! Three different salads, beef station, seafood paella, salmon, and petite size deserts. Looking forward to attending next year as well. #timetoseetheeyedr

Stopped in one recent sat around 330, the kitchen was closed til 5 so we just got drinks. Really beautiful selection of unique and classic cocktails and super nice gentlemen behind the bar!

Having visited the sister restaurant in Warren, we made a reservation to celebrate our anniversary at The Liberty House. High end restaurant, service is at another level. We were surprised by the nice detail on our personalized menus. Food was fresh, you can taste the high quality ingredients. Ambience was nice and the views of Manhattan were just the complement of a spectacular date with the hubby. We will be back for sure!

WOW! Best wedding we have attended in a long time. They handled covid protocols effortlessly and everyone felt comfortable and welcomed. The views alone are worth the price tag but the food...the beef and chicken satay at the cocktail hour were phenomenal. The filet for the main course was outstanding, my husband and I rated it in our top 3. I can't wait to go back for dinner.

My first time. Went for Sunday brunch. Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent drinks. The restaurant has beautiful views of skyline. Grounds are well manicured. Perfect venue for a wedding. We had chicken lollipops and deviled eggs for appetizers--scrumptious! There were three of us. One ordered the brisket omelette which was too delicious for words! I had Belgium waffles with fruit and cream. Lightest fluffiest waffles I've ever had. The third entree was chicken and waffles which was excellent too. For dessert: heavenly banana icecream, chocolate cake and delicious creme brulee. I will definitely come back. It was a birthday brunch and our wait staff was knowledgeable and very attentive. Price for three was about $173. Worth every cent.

So I attended my friend's wedding this past weekend and boy was this a gorgeous venue. The night view of the Manhattan skyline alone was worth 5 stars. Both inside and outside were spectacles to behold. The cocktail party was held in what seemed like a nicely decked-out greenhouse. Round tables with seating of 5-6 were nicely laid out and two main areas of food were displayed in the center. One station had your cheese selections, breads crackers and assortment of fruits. The other station had the hot selections like eggplant parmesan and fried calamari. The main reception was done on the 2nd floor. The interior was decked out with ceiling rainfall lights. Very intimate and the large windows looking out to Manhattan was absolutely breathtaking. The backdrop of the skyline really provided the perfect ambiance for the lovely couple. I wouldn't think twice about doing a wedding reception here. Yes, it's a bit of a drive from the boroughs of NY but I'd do it 10 out of 10 times. The views are so damn nice!

Many friends and family were convinced that cocktail hour was dinner itself - the selections were so plentiful and varied, it could've been the main meal.

I'm very sensitive to salt and am known for undersalting my own cooking, so I rarely think food is under-seasoned. But it genuinely felt like no salt was used in the kitchen here. We came for my birthday, and my partner only selected "birthday" on the reservation because the reservation app specifically asked whether we were celebrating an occasion. We were not requesting a birthday dessert or any special treatment. Then, when we arrived, our server asked if we were celebrating anything, and we simply answered, "Yes." A little later, the server brought out a scoop of ice cream that we never ordered, requested, or even hinted that we wanted. To our surprise, we were then charged $12 for it. At no point did anyone mention that the dessert was an item we would be paying for. Had we known it wasn't complimentary, we never would have indicated it was my birthday on the reservation or answered the server's question. We didn't even eat the ice cream because we hadn't wanted dessert in the first place. Rather than make a scene, we paid the charge, but it left a very negative impression. It's frustrating to be billed for something you never ordered, especially when the only reason your birthday was mentioned at all was because the reservation app and the server asked. A birthday shouldn't result in an unexpected charge for an unsolicited dessert.

It's a sleek but interesting space - the overall building was built as a townhouse in the 1840's but has housed a General Store, family business, and a chorizo factory over the years before housing the first cast of MTV's Real World. The ground floor is very nice, shiny dark wood flooring, interesting furnishings, and a small garden in the back. In the basement there is a tiny speakeasy bar furnished with various period curios as well as restrooms and a small kitchen. Both floors are fairly long and narrow, maybe 2000 sq feet combined? Convenient and chic location and I think the space would work for a variety of purposes.

She was warm during our initial tour, but once the contract was signed, communication became inconsistent and every conversation felt combative and unnecessarily rude. From the beginning, our timeline was a 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM open bar, using the Triplex until 11:00 PM and the Speakeasy from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM, which we'd rented for an additional $2,500. It was the timeline we developed with 632's own preferred caterer, and everything else, including catering, music, late-night food, and vendor schedules, was built around it. Then, less than a month before the wedding, Karen said she had decided she wasn't okay with eight hours of bar service anymore. Nothing had changed except her mind. We were suddenly forced to either cut cocktails during cocktail hour or shorten our after-party, despite already paying for both. We tried to find a compromise. Every suggestion was shut down. In the end, we spent thousands more booking a separate after-party venue, while also eating the cost of vendors like our DJ and photographer, whose hours had already been scheduled and paid for based on the original timeline. By the end of it all, we were so mentally drained that we didn't even do our rehearsal at the venue because we couldn't deal with another interaction. Then it took seven weeks and multiple follow-up emails just to get our security deposit back. If you value being treated with respect during one of the most important events of your life, look elsewhere. The venue is gorgeous. The owner is not someone you want to deal with.
