I was initially told $250 for the two doors I needed unlocked which is bizarre in itself and my fault because i found places that was a flat rate of $129.. so the guy opens the door and changed up and told me $200 more for the second door because "its impossible to open".. i told him "no cant do it right now" then he started to become pushy "i can 150, 100, 50-- ill work with you ill work with you" after i said no thanks multiple times.. tell me why I opened the second door with no problem as he was leaving smh.. this place definitely scamming ppl out of their money for a job i could have done myself if I had my credit card.. dont recommend to my family or friends or you reading this read more

My mom has a 2006 Honda Pilot, and she calls me one day and says she's stuck at Walmart because the key won't turn in the ignition. I go over and the key starts right up so we go home. A few hours later I go out just to test it again and sure enough the key won't turn in the ignition. I tried all of the different hacks I found on YouTube and nothing. I go to the dealership (stupid me) and they're talking over $1600 for an ignition switch alone! I called a few other locksmith places, and everyone wanted to just gouge me. I stumbled on Liberty via Yelp. When I called, they gave me a price and said they could be there the same day. The tech was at my house within two hours of my call, he said it might take him an hour or an hour and a half. He was done in less than 50 mins. So, this is what I got: Steering column disassembled and repaired with a NEW key for $373.19 all in. He told me he could give me a deal and make a 2nd key on the spot for $100, or I could go back to the shop at any time, and they'll charge me $150. Considering all of the crazy pricing I got from other places, the price Liberty charged me, how fast they got there and fixed the problem - was all well worth it. Horrible services, no warranty. Posted an honest review on Google, guess the owner got offended and replied with a lie. Terrible. Anywho, the truth is their product is poor quality and they don't replace their products. Owner claims my key was broken but failed to mentioned the alarm pad inner mechanism was defective initially and after multiple attempts opening the case, key case cracked. No the key is not broken it still works and actually as per the owner and his staff, they suggested just gluing the case together so no it didn't look like it got hit with a baseball bat as owner replied on Google reviews. Again poor customer service, seems as if company does not want to takep responsibility but it is completely ok. Never again will I render services from them or refer anyone. This Locksmith was incredible from the moment I called. I had to order special keys for my Jeep as the dealer only gave me 1 key when I purchased the used 2016 Jeep Wrangler. Liberty in Bayonne NJ (Travis) cut both keys for me and programmed both at a great price and with quick service. The Jeep dealer and other locksmiths wanted to charge me a fortune even though I already had the keys. Travis was quick and gave me a third key to open the vehicle in case I lost my other 2. Make sure you read all the 1 star reviews. These guys are unprofessional and will rip you off. I made clear to the owner what I was looking for in terms of a replacement lock. Instead I received a lock that doesn't fit my needs. Paid for and thought I was getting a WiFi smart lock, that's the picture and description given to me. Instead I got a useless Bluetooth lock. Spent over $400 to have a basic apartment door lock replaced. No contract, illegal business practice. Stay away from these guys - never use a locksmith you can't trust. read more

Key Fob replacement. Both my OEM Key Fobs are now not working after 10 years. Researched all the shops around me and out of 8 places in the area this place had good reviews and the best price when quoted. Got a quote on the phone and they also offered a drive to at a decent price as well, but I went there to check the place out for the first time using them. Nice little corner shop. Professional fast service at a really good price. Done in about 15 minutes. Going to be going back for my second spare fob as well as long as this one lasts a bit. Cost me 106$ total for a 2010 Jeep Fob. I got quotes from $150 to $275. The drive to was quoted at 50$ and it would have taken them an hour back and forth, so would be kind of worth it considering traffic round here, if I did use it. read more
