This is how they took care of my furniture and offer me 84 dollars, An additional 100 not to post anything about this company? Please don't fall victim like I had to, I had to pay over 840 dollars to repair my antique cedar chest,

    Motorcycle unloading!!! What a joke...
    Jagadesan R.

Yelp moderators deleted my review. This is my first hand experience with this liberty movers. Pls don't delete this. I used them to move my 1 bed room apt from PA to NC on May 6. phone operator( Jack) said there is another pick near my area and will get good deal. And also said my motorcycle can transported. During the pickup, it was 23' budget truck and not liberty movers label on it. they said I have more stuff and explained how and why. But there was no proper measurements done for the exceeded amount. so cost increased by $380. Packing was good and quick. Loading my bike was into a budget 23 ' truck. This truck had a lift table. They asked for 60% of total cost after loading. They didn't have card swipe machine. I had no cash. So another guy called me asking me to send a picture of my check through email. So I did. They encashed it. Signed bunch of papers, including the new change in cost, remaining payment will be only through postal certified check or cash upon delivery. Wondered why. Delivery: total chaos. Liberty movers give this job to other truck contractors. two guys come to my apt with a 53' truck trailer which was half filled. They claimed this 53' truck can't make turn. So they asked me $500 to unload and move to my first floor apt. Called liberty, they said it's my problem. it's not their responsibility. Liberty guy negotiated the price with truck guys for $250...lol. they start unloading and they didn't have the lift table in the 53' truck. So they wanted my Harley hand lifted onto a bed of sheets on the floor . Then the wise guys asked me to rent a uhaul. So realizing this such a SNAFU. I decided to get uhaul which had a ramp. So these 2 truck guys moved my Harley from 53 feeter to uhaul truck and then I drove it down to the ground from uhaul. They finally get my stuff into my new apt. Wise guys were asking me for a knife to open the wraps. so o had to unbox to find a knife and give them. One guy uses my bathroom , uses paper towel and leaves in my kitchen. Nice touch. I added pictures of these wise guys.Zero star, how did I miss all these reviews here. How come this company is still running and looting people.

One star is one too many for this shady company. This company should be shut down. They stole our money for a move from PA to SC. TOTAL COST: $25,000 for moving a 4 bedroom home. Price just kept going up, and was $15,000 more than the telephone quote! They lost some of our furniture; Most every piece was damaged; Expensive Oriental rug came off the truck WET, and covered in mold. They LOST our Kingsdown King size MATTRESS. Gauges in the wood of our Ethan Alan cherrywood bedroom set; Vases shattered; Lamps broken; Lamp shades destroyed. The delivery arrived 10 days after we moved in; Gigantic 18 wheeler truck delivered, leaving the motor running for hours; I could go on & on. PLEASE, DO NOT USE LIBERTY MOVERS. They are shysters from the get go. Chase is a liar.

My experience was a nightmare !!! Not only was the Flat rate prices I was given wrong it became double as soon as all my stuff was loaded on the truck then the driver started to negotiate what a joke contract says 47 boxes then they say that's small boxes then they play a fuel surcharge game and then they hit you with your stuff is heavy so there is a weight charge. When the stuff made it to Florida we had crushed boxes a end table completely broken the movers dumped the stuff in the living room and had to be told to put together and placed in rooms when we questioned them they told us they were hired the night before on Craigslist one of them past out and we called the EMS I feel like we where scammed and caught in the bull crap of the moving industry when I spoke to the driver he told me this happens 8 out of 10 times a day

If I could give a negative star I would! If you want unprofessional movers that put holes in your wall and scratch up your floors and break your items this is your place! They also charge you obscene additional cost and make you pay tip before moving anything. Oh and it's cash only payments. Biggest mistake !!! They will rob you and not take care of your damages!! They quoted around 2k to move over phone. They never sent anyone to get an actual estimate. They load up all your stuff, no mats to prevent damage to floors. And then tell you the cost to move is an extra 1,700! That's double the cost almost!! They arrived 4 hours after quoted time and then damaged holes in wall and scratched up floors and broke furniture!! Worst experience ever!! Do not recommend!!!!

From the moment they arrived, they were professional, kind, respectful, and unbelievably hardworking. They handled every item with great care, worked efficiently, and never once seemed overwhelmed despite the challenges of the move. What impressed me most, though, was the way Bakha led his team--with calm confidence, genuine kindness, and obvious respect for both his colleagues and us. As someone who works in leadership, I know how rare it is to find employees who combine technical excellence with emotional intelligence. Bakha exemplifies both, and his teammates reflected that same standard. They are exactly the kind of people who build a company's reputation. This entire home experience has been incredibly stressful for my husband and me, and today these three gentlemen gave us something we hadn't felt in a long time: peace of mind. They reminded us that there are still people who take immense pride in their work and genuinely care about the people they're serving. Please recognize Bakha and his team for the extraordinary job they did today. They didn't just move our belongings--they restored a little of our faith in humanity. We are deeply grateful.

They had seamlessly loaded the contents of my 650 square foot apartment including large/heavy fragile furniture with glass (8 foot tall dresser with mirror weighing 250 lbs, and 50 galloon reptile tank) in about 1 hour. We promptly left via car to meet them at our new address in Philly, and they arrived at exactly the same time as we did. They unloaded the truck in about an hour again, and helped partially unpack and put items in the proper places, especially the furniture that would have been hard for me to move on my own later. I will continue to use Piece of Cake, and have recommended to several friends over the years that I have been using them. It was quick working with the customer support team initially to quote the move, make payment, and on COIs and confirmation. When we move again in a couple years Piece of Cake will be the only mover I call. My recommendation to others considering the service, be transparent and honest about the contents of your move, especially items requiring extra protection even if there is an additional fee involved. There were no surprise add-ons in my move because we carefully selected every single item that would be included in our move early on in the process, and made sure to reply in detail to the follow up emails regarding insurance, access to the apartments (stairs vs elevator, reserved elevator, etc.), and so on move-in day everything went off without a hitch. Piece of Cake are professionals and we love the service.

Summary: + good price…read more+ fast and overall fine service + overall nice workers - poor communication - some unprofessionalism - some damages I went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars, but ultimately landed on 3. I want to provide enough context so anyone considering Solidarity Movers can make an informed decision. Overall, this was one of the better moves I've had, but not one that warrants the 5-star reviews I see here. My husband and I moved from MA to NY due to family circumstances. The move was already stressful before it began, which is relevant because Solidarity was recommended by a friend who had a great experience with them. Given some poor experiences I've had with movers in the past, I felt confident choosing them. Unfortunately, things started off rocky. I completed a video walkthrough, received an initial quote, and then requested a revision. After that, communication stalled. Multiple follow-ups went unanswered, and I couldn't even get confirmation that my request was being worked on. After about a day of silence while other companies were responding consistently, I was ready to book elsewhere and left a review reflecting my experience. Within minutes, owner Zak called me. He was understanding, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about my concerns. Communication improved immediately, I received the revised quote, and their pricing felt fair, so I booked the move. A couple of weeks before the move, I reached out to confirm everything was still on track and asked about payment. I was told, in writing by Mike, that the remaining balance would be due "upon completion of your move." To me, that clearly meant after delivery. The move was scheduled for June 19 with overnight delivery on June 20. The crew was originally expected between 12 PM and 2 PM but arrived around 4 PM due to traffic. Traffic happens, and I had no issue with the delay itself. The crew was polite, worked efficiently, and seemed to handle our belongings with care. Unfortunately, this is where my experience started to decline. While packing, I overheard two crew members make a joke about my husband and me. It wasn't the worst thing I've ever heard, but it was disappointing to become the subject of a gay joke, especially from a company that publicly projects queer allyship. I chose not to make an issue of it, but another customer may have felt differently. Once loading was complete, the foreman informed me that the remaining balance was due immediately. This directly contradicted the written communication I had received. When I raised the issue, Mike acknowledged there had been a miscommunication but insisted I still had to pay on the spot. What made the interaction frustrating was how dismissive he came across. He stated this was standard procedure and said he would investigate the miscommunication, but unless there is another Mike, the miscommunication originated with him. Rather than create additional stress for myself, I paid the balance and moved on. To be clear, I still tipped the crew generously because they worked hard. By the end of the move, they had received $1,200 total in gratuity, or $400 per mover. The next day, delivery was delayed again due to traffic, but the unloading process itself was quick and organized. The crew followed instructions, reassembled our storage bed, and got everything into the house efficiently. After unloading, I was asked to sign paperwork stating everything had been delivered without damage. This struck me as odd because we hadn't unpacked a single box yet, so there was no realistic way to verify that. Like many people at the end of a move, I signed because I was exhausted and just wanted the process finished. While unpacking later, I discovered our $1,500 credenza had been damaged. Two interior shelves were broken, one completely split in half. Several glass items were also broken in transit. Nothing irreplaceable, but damage nonetheless. Could I file a claim? Sure. But after an already stressful interstate move, I don't have the time or energy to go through another lengthy process. Instead, I'm leaving this review so others can make an informed decision. Despite everything, I would still consider recommending Solidarity Movers, especially for a local move. The crew worked hard, and this was far from the worst moving experience I've had. However, the communication issues, payment confusion, dismissive handling of that confusion, inappropriate comment, and damage to our belongings prevent me from rating the experience higher. If you're reading reviews because you're planning a move and trying to make the best decision possible, I hope this helps. Wishing you the best of luck!

DO NOT HIRE GREAT MOVERS -- UNPROFESSIONAL, CARELESS, AND DISHONEST…read more On October 30, 2025, I hired Great Movers to remove and store heavy items from my property. Three movers arrived, led by a foreman named Steve. They were instructed to place the sofa and love seat in a designated dumpster area. During the move, the team used our bathroom while working in the bedroom. Shortly after they left, my daughter arrived home and immediately realized that her gold, diamond, and pink sapphire necklace -- a deeply sentimental graduation gift she'd worn almost daily for three years -- was missing. It had been safely in the bedroom that morning, and she hadn't worn it that day due to her outfit choice. We searched thoroughly. It was gone. I texted Steve immediately and asked for his manager's contact information. When he called back, I explained what happened. His first response was dismissive: "Great Movers isn't responsible for stolen items." No empathy, no concern, no sense of accountability. Over the next three days, I called the company multiple times and left messages for management (Saad or anyone in charge) -- not a single call was returned. Zero acknowledgment. As if that wasn't enough, I then received a call from building management saying the movers had dumped my furniture next to a pizza shop's dumpster, upsetting the business owner. I had clearly told them to place the items inside the designated dumpster area. When I called again, the dispatcher promised to contact Steve. Steve later claimed I "never said anything" about a designated area -- an outright lie. He finally returned to move the furniture to the proper spot, but even then, he set it next to the dumpster until I told him to put it inside. When I again brought up the stolen necklace, he was cold, sarcastic, and emotionless. I told him I would be filing a police report and that if the necklace was returned, there would be no questions asked. His only reply was to ask "where it was located." It is now November 5, and I have still received no response from Great Movers management. This experience has been deeply upsetting, not only because of the stolen jewelry and unprofessional conduct, but also because of the company's complete lack of integrity, accountability, and compassion. My advice: DO NOT USE GREAT MOVERS. If you value your belongings -- and basic human decency -- find another moving company. Great Movers = Great Disappointment.
